Glendronach 1992 30y #1088
On request only
Glendronach 1992 30y #1088 is built around one very specific cask. Distilled on 4 December 1992 and bottled in 2023, this Highland single malt spent thirty years in Puncheon #1088, a cask that had previously held Pedro Ximenez sherry.
That single cask origin gives the whisky a clear sense of place and time: one mature Glendronach, one sherry-seasoned Puncheon, 685 bottles. With the last bottles now in circulation, its appeal lies not just in scarcity, but in the depth of character that this kind of long maturation can show.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a Glendronach for drinkers who appreciate powerful sherried whisky with dark fruit, spice, cocoa, coffee and oak at the centre. Bottled at 56%, it has real presence in the glass, while the tasting (…)Glen Grant 1956 65y Gmp (Gordon & Mcphail)

Glen Grant 1956 65y Gmp is a Speyside single malt from a category that rarely appears in any meaningful quantity. Distilled in 1956 and bottled in 2021, it carries 65 years of maturation, giving the bottle a sense of time that goes well beyond a standard age statement.
It was drawn from a single sherry butt and bottled at cask strength, 55.4%. Only 180 bottles were produced, and with the last bottles now indicated, this release has become notably scarce. At Drankenshop Broekmans, a whisky like this stands out because it brings together age, provenance and individuality: one cask, one distillation year and a remarkably long period of maturation.
The flavour profile points towards a fruit- and spice-driven Glen Grant, supported by a clear wood influence from (…)Clynelish 1995 26y (The Nectar - Daily Dram)

Clynelish 1995 26y is a Highland single malt with a very clear sense of origin. It was distilled on 21 November 1995 and bottled on 23 March 2022 by The Nectar for the Daily Dram series, after 26 years of maturation.
The key point here is its individuality. This is a single cask whisky from a sherry butt, bottled at cask strength at 56.2%. Rather than being adjusted to fit a broader house style, it presents one particular cask in a direct and concentrated way.
Only 515 bottles were released, and with the last bottles now available, this Clynelish has a naturally limited place in the selection at Drankenshop Broekmans. Its appeal lies in that combination of age, independent bottling and the finite nature of a single cask.

Macallan 1997 25y (Signatory Vintage Symington's Choice)

Macallan 1997 25y is the kind of single malt where the details genuinely shape the story. Distilled on 24 September 1997 and bottled on 10 July 2023, it spent 25 years maturing before being selected by Signatory for the Signatory Vintage Symington's Choice series.
Rather than a broad release, this is a single cask bottling from an Oloroso Sherry cask, presented at cask strength at 54.8%. That gives the whisky a very direct connection to one individual cask, one maturation path and one precise bottling moment. With 649 bottles produced and the last bottles now remaining, it occupies a notably limited place in the Drankenshop Broekmans whisky selection.
Its appeal lies in that sense of focus: mature Speyside single malt, independent bottling, cask strength and (…)Balvenie 21y Portwood Tube Incl.

Balvenie 21y Portwood is a Speyside single malt where age and cask finishing define the conversation. Twenty-one years of maturation gives it a mature foundation, while the Port Finish brings the whisky into a style built around spice, wood influence and a clear fruity thread rather than peat smoke or coastal salinity.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a whisky for drinkers who enjoy Speyside single malt with a more developed, cask-led character. The port finish is not just a finishing touch in the technical sense; it is central to how this Balvenie presents itself.
Bottled at 40%, it remains measured and approachable, while the age statement and finishing style give it the presence expected from a more considered dram. It is the kind of bottle that (…)Glendronach 1991 31y#1106

Glendronach 1991 31y #1106 is a Highland single malt with a very clear identity. It was distilled on 22 November 1991 and bottled in 2023, after 31 years in a single ex-Pedro Ximenez sherry puncheon.
That cask choice is central to the whisky's story. The supplied profile points to a deep sherried style, with plum, chocolate, raisins, ginger and tobacco running through the experience. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Glendronach we would introduce to someone looking for mature sherry-cask character with dark fruit, spice and a more sensual side.
Bottled at cask strength, 50.9%, it keeps close to the power of the original cask. Only 667 bottles came from cask 1106, making this a very specific expression of one long-aged whisky. With the last (…)Tomatin 50y

Tomatin 50y is a Highland single malt defined first and foremost by time. Distilled in 1971 and matured for 50 years, it brings together great age, a Sherry Hogshead maturation and a very small release of 125 bottles. With the final bottles now remaining, its limited nature is an important part of the story.
The cask direction is clear without needing to overstate it: fruit is the leading impression, with wood and spice giving structure and depth. At 44% ABV, this Tomatin sits in a more composed register, where long maturation and cask influence are the main points of interest.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this 50-year-old Tomatin has a special place among rare Scottish single malts, particularly for those drawn to aged Highland whisky with a sherry cask (…)Amrut Greedy Angels 12y

The 12 years of maturation, together with the stated sherry and bourbon influence, gives the whisky a generous framework. Its flavour profile is led by fruit, with wood and spice clearly in support. Rather than a soft, understated style, this is a whisky built around intensity and concentration.

Its sherry maturation shapes the whisky into a darker, richer and more spice-led style. Rather than aiming for lightness, it leans into mature wood influence, deep fruit and pronounced spice, with its 46% strength giving the whisky enough structure to carry that character well.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would introduce to someone looking for a mature, sherry-driven Highland single malt with depth, tradition and a generous flavour profile.

Glendronach 40 Years is a Highland single malt shaped by long ageing and sherry cask maturation. Four decades give it a mature, contemplative style, built around dark fruit, spice and a well-developed wood influence.
