Black Tot 1975 40 Years
On request only
Black Tot 1975 40 Years is the kind of rum where the details immediately set the pace. It is a Guyanese molasses rum, pot still distilled, with 40 years of age behind it and the 1975 vintage clearly placed at the centre of its identity.
The bourbon barrel maturation brings a clear wood presence, but the character is not defined by oak alone. The profile points strongly toward spice, with fruit also playing an important role and sweetness kept more in the background. That gives this rum a mature, contemplative feel rather than an easy, overtly sweet one.
Within the selection at Drankenshop Broekmans, this Black Tot stands out as a rum for drinkers who enjoy provenance, age and a more pronounced style. Bottled at cask strength at 44.2%, it keeps its (…)Pusser's Navy Black Gunpowder

Pusser's Navy Black Gunpowder
Temporarily sold out
Pusser's Navy Black Gunpowder is a rum that immediately places itself on the more powerful side of the shelf. The name sets the tone on its own: Navy, Black, Gunpowder. Combined with a strength of 54.5%, this Barbados rum carries a firm, commanding presence before the glass is even poured.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle that tends to catch the eye of customers looking for a rum with more weight and impact. Pusser's presents it as a release where strength is not a detail, but part of the identity.
The available information is deliberately concise: a popular Pusser's rum from Barbados, bottled at a high alcoholic strength and shaped by a name that clearly points toward a bold drinking experience.

Bonpland Enmore 28y is a Guyanese rum with a quietly impressive story behind it. Distilled in 1988 and bottled in 2016, it carries 28 years of maturation, and it comes from a single cask with a total outturn of just 340 bottles.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of rum we would present as a singular cask release rather than a standard expression. Its molasses base, pot still distillation and wine finish point towards a style where maturity, cask influence, spice and fruit all play a meaningful role, while sweetness remains more restrained.
Bottled at 50%, it has the strength to show its mature character clearly in the glass. With only the last bottles remaining, this Bonpland release feels especially suited to drinkers who enjoy aged rum with (…)Caroni 2000 18y "+ 7y" Whisky Live 2025 50cl (Velier)

Malecon 1982 Esplendida 4.5l is a Cuban molasses rum, distilled in 1982 in a traditional column style. With its vintage statement and generous 4.5 litre presentation, it immediately feels like more than a standard bottle; it is the kind of rum that gives a table or back bar real presence.
Maturation in bourbon cask supports a clearly woody side, while the flavour profile also points to spice and fruit. Sweetness is present in a more restrained role, so the impression is not built solely around softness, but around the interplay between wood, spice and fruit.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this Malecon stands out as a rum with a strong sense of occasion: Cuban origin, distilled in 1982, and bottled in an impressive Esplendida format.

Dictador 1977 40y Nectar is a Colombian rum built around time, cask and scarcity. Distilled in 1977 and bottled on 20 January 2017, it carries a 40 year age statement that gives the release a very specific identity: one vintage, one long maturation, one defined moment of bottling.
Drawn from a single bourbon cask and limited to 300 bottles, it sits at Drankenshop Broekmans among the rums where the story is shaped by more than brand or category alone. The use of pot still and column distillation adds another point of interest, while the single cask format keeps the focus on one individual parcel of rum.
At 43% alcohol, Dictador 1977 40y Nectar is not presented through sheer strength, but through maturity and cask influence. The flavour profile points towards (…)Uitvlugt French Savalle Still Icbu 1998 25y (Nobilis Rum)

Uitvlugt French Savalle Still ICBU 1998 25y is a Guyanese rum built around origin, age and the individuality of a single cask. Distilled in 1998 and bottled in 2023, it brings together 25 years of maturation with the Uitvlugt name and the French Savalle Still reference.
Its appeal lies in its very specific presentation. This is a single cask rum, bottled at cask strength at 58.9%, with just 174 bottles drawn from that cask. Rather than a broad house style, it represents one particular parcel of rum at one particular point in time.
For Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle that speaks to customers who enjoy rum in a more direct and limited form. The last-bottles indication adds to that sense of scarcity: once this small release is gone, that (…)Neisson 2021 Straight From The Barrel Vieux Cognac

Neisson 2021 Straight From The Barrel Vieux Cognac is a cask strength agricole rum from Martinique, made from sugar cane juice and bottled at 58.9%. It has the directness suggested by its name: a rum kept close to the barrel, with concentration and presence rather than a polished, softened style.
It spent four years maturing in a 600-litre Cognac cask. The warm, humid conditions of the Vevert warehouses give it notable depth, while the cane-driven identity remains part of the conversation. The supplied profile points to a generous mix of fruit, spice, wood, floral touches and herbal accents.

Saint James Cuvée 1765 is a rum from Martinique made from sugar cane juice, a style where the raw material remains close to the identity of the spirit. The name gives the cuvée a clear historical reference point, while the Saint James brand places it in a recognisable Martinique rum context.
It is traditionally column distilled and bottled at 42% alcohol. The stated bourbon cask element gives the rum a maturation angle, adding structure to a cane juice rum without shifting the focus away from its origin.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see Saint James Cuvée 1765 as a good choice for customers who want a rum with a defined provenance and a more considered style than a simple everyday pour. Its popularity is understandable: the bottle combines (…)Hampden Dok 2020 2y (The Nectar - Daily Dram)

Hampden Dok 2020 2y is a Jamaican molasses rum with a clearly independent-bottler identity. Released by The Nectar under the Daily Dram label, it was distilled in 2020 and bottled in September 2022 at 2 years of age.
The appeal here lies in its compact but forceful setup: pot still distillation, a single cask, cask strength bottling at 65.6%, and an Islay finish. Rather than leaning on sweetness, this rum is shaped by wood, spice and fruit, with the Islay cask adding an unusual angle to the maturation.
Only 228 bottles were produced, and with the last bottles now in circulation, this Hampden has a particularly distinctive place at Drankenshop Broekmans for drinkers who enjoy small-batch Jamaican rum with intensity and a less conventional cask influence.
