Kracher N°5 Grande Cuvée Nouvelle Vague Trockenbeerenauslese 2020 is a noble sweet white wine from Austria, made in Illmitz in Burgenland, close to the Neusiedlersee. That setting matters: warm days, cooler nights and humid morning mist can create the conditions in which noble rot develops, giving Trockenbeerenauslese its remarkable concentration.The Nouvelle Vague name at Kracher points to a style shaped by maturation in wood. This Grande Cuvée brings together Welschriesling and Chardonnay, with the available information indicating a total maturation of 28 months.
