Bally 12y Pyramide is the kind of rum that catches the eye before it ever reaches the glass. The pyramid-shaped bottle makes it stand out, but at Drankenshop Broekmans we value it just as much for what is inside: a 12-year-old rhum agricole from Martinique, made from pure sugar cane juice and bottled at 45%.
Its maturation in bourbon casks gives it a dark, mature presence. The colour is described as dark mahogany, and that says a great deal about the style: wood, spice and deeper flavours take the lead, with enough balance to keep the rum composed.
The appeal here lies in the meeting of sugar cane juice character and long cask ageing. The agricole origin brings its own identity, while twelve years in oak add depth, spice and a more developed, contemplative (…)Bally 7 Years Pyramide Incl. Box

Bally 7 Years Pyramide is a Martinique rum from J. Bally, made in the sugar cane juice style. Its appeal is not built around sweetness, but around structure: wood, spice, fruit and a lightly vegetal edge all have a role to play.
Maturation in bourbon casks gives it a clear oak presence, while traditional column distillation and a strength of 45% keep the rum firm and expressive. The result is a more character-driven style, with enough weight to carry its spiced and fruity side.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we place among rums for people who enjoy a drier, more defined Martinique profile. It has maturity, cask influence and a distinctive sugar cane juice origin without relying on overt sweetness.
The flavour profile is (…)Bally Art Deco N°1

Bally Art Deco N°1

Bally Art Deco N°1 is a special edition from J. Bally in Martinique, made as an agricole rum and distilled in a traditional column. Its identity is built around craft: the distillation, the blending, and the idea of presenting rum with a more artistic sense of refinement. The Art Deco name suits that position well, suggesting a cuvée shaped with attention to style as much as flavour.
Martinique is central to the story here. The rum carries the freshness of sugar cane, a touch of tropical fruit and a light vegetal note, all supported by maturation in American oak. That oak influence brings wood, gentle spice and a rounded sweetness, giving the agricole base more depth without taking away its origin-driven character.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is (…)Bally Art Deco N°2 Incl. Box

Bally Art Deco N°2 is a Martinique agricole rum with a clear sense of inspiration behind it. Its name looks back to the Art Deco movement, which was flourishing in France around the same period that Jacques Bally founded his namesake brand in the 1930s. In that sense, this cuvée is not just a decorative reference; it connects the bottle to the origins of J. Bally and to an era shaped by design, craft and architecture.
This is the second batch of the cuvée, and, like the previous version, it is built from three different vintages. For this release, the blend brings together 1999, 2006 and 2007. There is no age statement on the label, yet the choice of vintages gives the rum a composed, layered feel. American oak maturation and traditional column (…)Bally Art Deco N°3 Incl. Box

Bally Art Deco N°3 is a J. Bally rum from Martinique, made in the sugar cane juice style. That already places it in a different register from many sweeter rum styles: the emphasis here sits more on structure, vegetal character and spice than on simple roundness.
Maturation in bourbon barrel adds a clear wood influence, supported by a spicy edge and a noticeable cane-driven, vegetal side. Fruit, sweetness and a light floral touch play a more supporting role, giving detail without softening the rum too much. At 45%, it has enough strength to carry that profile with confidence.
In the rum selection at Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would point out to someone looking for a Martinique rum with a firmer, more aromatic personality.

Bally Blanc

Bally Blanc is a white rum from J. Bally, made in Martinique from sugar cane juice. That detail says a great deal about its identity: rather than leaning on molasses richness or wood influence, it puts the raw material much closer to the centre of the glass.
Distilled in a traditional column and bottled at 50%, it has a clear, assertive presence. Within the selection at Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of rum we would point out to someone who wants a more direct cane-juice style, with no emphasis on oak or sweet maturation notes.
The profile is built around floral and spicy elements, with lighter fruit and a subtle vegetal edge in support. Bally Blanc is therefore less about softness or barrel character, and more about freshness, clarity and the (…)Bally Brut De Fut 2004 Incl. Box

Bally Brut De Fut 2004 is an agricole rum from Martinique, made from freshly harvested sugar cane. That gives it a very direct link to the raw material, with a cane-driven foundation that sits beneath the fruit, spice and oak rather than disappearing behind them.
It was distilled in a traditional column style and matured for several years in oak casks, with bourbon barrel ageing adding roundness and structure. The wood influence is present without taking over, leaving room for the ripe fruit and spice that define much of its personality.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a rum for those moments when you want something with real concentration in the glass. At 53.7% and carrying the Brut De Fut name, it is a Martinique rum with strength, depth and a (…)Bally Grande Cuvee

Bally Grande Cuvee
On request only
Bally Grande Cuvee is built around a clear sense of occasion. Created as the Grande Cuvée du Siècle for 1923-2023, it pays tribute to the founding of J. Bally on the west coast of Martinique and to a century of French prestige associated with the name.
In the rum range at Drankenshop Broekmans, this release stands out because it brings different chapters of J. Bally together in one decanter. Marc Sassier blended vintages from 1929, 1939, 1955, 1975 and 2008, using their individual traits to shape the final composition: old wood, empyreumatic depth, fruitiness, roundness and cohesion.
The presentation is part of the same story. The pyramid-shaped decanter refers to the Arts Décoratifs movement and comes in a dedicated box with a second Art (…)Bally Millesime 2002

Bally Millesime 2002
Temporarily sold out
Expected: 30/10/2026Bally Millesime 2002 is a Martinique rum with a clear vintage identity. Distilled in 2002 from sugar cane juice, it carries the sense of a specific year rather than a broadly blended style.
Its traditional column distillation and bourbon cask influence point towards a profile where wood, spice and fruit are central. The lighter floral and vegetal accents sit in the background, adding detail without taking the rum away from its more structured side.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we place in front of someone who enjoys rum with origin and method clearly visible in the glass. Martinique, sugar cane juice, vintage distillation and bourbon cask maturation all contribute to the calm, distinctive personality of Bally Millesime 2002.

Bally Vo Pyramide from J. Bally is a Martinique rum rooted in sugar cane juice. That immediately places it in a drier, more cane-driven direction, away from a style built around sweetness and closer to vegetal freshness and subtle detail.
It is traditionally column distilled and matured in bourbon casks. The cask influence is not presented as heavy or dominant here; it sits alongside light touches of wood, spice, fruit, floral notes and vegetal character. At 45% alcohol, it has enough structure to carry those elements without turning the focus purely towards strength.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a thoughtful choice for anyone looking to explore Martinique rum through a bottle where origin, cane juice and restrained cask influence matter more than (…)J.Bally Millésime 1929

J.Bally Millésime 1929
Very last one in stock!
J.Bally Millésime 1929 is the kind of rum where the name immediately sets the tone. J. Bally, Martinique and the Millésime 1929 indication place this bottle in a very different space from an everyday rum.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we would present a bottle like this with a certain restraint. The available details do not need embellishment: the Martinique origin, the dated millésime reference and the limited remaining availability already say a great deal. At 41.5% alcohol, it sits at a classic drinking strength, but the main appeal here is also the historical presence carried by the bottle itself.
As one of the last bottles, J.Bally Millésime 1929 naturally has particular relevance for collectors. It is a rum to consider carefully, (…)
