Château Bellefont-Belcier 2021 is the estate's grand vin, a red Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé from Bordeaux. It sits firmly in the Right Bank tradition, led by merlot, with cabernet franc and a small proportion of cabernet sauvignon completing the blend.
The 2021 vintage in Saint-Émilion was cooler and more demanding than the warmer years before it. For Bellefont-Belcier, that means a wine shaped less by sheer power and more by freshness, aromatic precision and texture. The fruit comes from limestone plateau parcels, south-facing clay-limestone slopes and plots at the foot of the slope, with parcel-by-parcel vinification and gentle extraction.

Chateau Bellefont Belcier 2022 is a red Saint-Emilion Grand Cru from Bordeaux, grown in Saint-Laurent-des-Combes on the southern slopes of Saint-Emilion. The estate works with vineyards on limestone plateau, south-facing clay-limestone slopes and molasse du Fronsadais, giving the wine a strong sense of origin. The Bellefont name refers to the springs on the hill where the vines are rooted.
The 2022 blend is led by Merlot, with Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon adding structure and detail. Grapes are handled parcel by parcel, selected carefully and received by gravity.
