Maison Philippe Charlopin Chablis 1er Cru Beauroy 2022

Maison Philippe Charlopin Chablis 1er Cru Beauroy 2022 is a dry white Burgundy from the Chablis Premier Cru appellation. It comes from Beauroy, a climat on the left bank of the Serein, and is made from Chardonnay. Rather than presenting Chablis in its most sharply citrus-driven form, this wine leans towards a riper and broader interpretation while keeping the freshness that defines the area.
The grapes are described as coming from vines of around 50 years old on a sunny slope in Beauroy. Poor, stony, limestone-rich soils give the wine its mineral tension, while the exposure brings more body and fruit. Within Chablis Premier Cru, Beauroy is associated with wines that carry fruit, structure and a certain breadth.
Philippe Charlopin is based in Gevrey-Chambertin (…)Domaine Philippe Charlopin Franc De Pied Pinot Noir 2022

Domaine Philippe Charlopin Franc De Pied Pinot Noir 2022

Domaine Philippe Charlopin Franc De Pied Pinot Noir 2022 is a red Burgundy with a very specific point of interest: its Pinot Noir vines grow on their own roots. That is what franc de pied refers to. For this cuvée, the fruit comes from a tiny 5-ouvrée planting in Marsannay, in the lieu-dit Champs Forets, on sandy and limestone soils.
Only 950 bottles were produced, so this is not a broad, anonymous regional Burgundy. It is a small-scale expression of Pinot Noir within the Bourgogne AOC, shaped more by origin and detail than by weight. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we like to introduce when someone is looking for Burgundy with a clear story behind it.
The 2022 vintage is described as ripe and successful, giving a dry red (…)Maison Philippe Charlopin Bonnes Mares Grand Cru 2022

Maison Philippe Charlopin Bonnes Mares Grand Cru 2022

Maison Philippe Charlopin Bonnes Mares Grand Cru 2022 is a red Burgundy from the Côte de Nuits, made from Pinot Noir and sourced from the Bonnes-Mares Grand Cru appellation. Bonnes-Mares lies between Chambolle-Musigny and Morey-Saint-Denis, and this particular wine is described as coming from the Chambolle side, from the terres blanches sector.
That origin matters, because the wine is presented as a powerful and structured Bonnes-Mares rather than a purely delicate expression of Burgundy. The available notes point to breadth, depth, a very velvety texture and a long, flavourful finish, with tannins that are present yet refined.
The winemaking is described in terms of gentle extraction and ageing in oak barrels, including new oak, though without exact (…)Maison Philippe Charlopin Bourgogne Cote D'Or White 2022

Maison Philippe Charlopin Bourgogne Côte d'Or White 2022 is a white Burgundy built around Chardonnay and its origin in the Côte d'Or. It carries a regional Burgundy designation, yet the wine is clearly shaped by its place of origin, with limestone soil mentioned as part of its terroir.
Charlopin is associated with Gevrey-Chambertin in the Côte de Nuits, with Philippe Charlopin and his son Yann linked to the estate. For this Bourgogne Côte d'Or Blanc, the focus is on a dry Chardonnay style with concentration, freshness and a controlled touch of oak rather than on heavy winemaking detail.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of white Burgundy we like to present as a food-friendly bottle: well suited to shellfish, fish dishes, (…)Maison Philippe Charlopin Chablis 1er Cru Cote De Lechet 2022

Maison Philippe Charlopin Chablis 1er Cru Cote De Lechet 2022 is a dry white Burgundy from the Chablisien, made from 100% Chardonnay. It comes from the Premier Cru climat Côte de Lechet, on the left bank of the Serein, a sunny site where the grapes tend to ripen relatively early.
The appeal here lies in the meeting of place and vintage. Côte de Lechet is known for steep slopes and soils containing Kimmeridgian marl, clay and limestone material. That origin gives the wine its focused mineral line, while the 2022 vintage brings riper fruit and added concentration without losing the freshness associated with Chablis.
Maison Philippe Charlopin is linked to Domaine Philippe Charlopin-Parizot in Gevrey-Chambertin, a domaine that began in 1977 with a (…)Maison Philippe Charlopin Chablis 1er Cru Fourchaume 2022

Maison Philippe Charlopin Chablis 1er Cru Fourchaume 2022 is a dry white Burgundy from the Chablisien, made entirely from chardonnay. Fourchaume is one of the Premier Cru names of Chablis, and this wine is linked more specifically to L'Homme Mort, a lieu-dit within the wider Fourchaume area on the right bank of the Serein.
Part of the interest here lies in the meeting of place and producer. Philippe Charlopin is based in Gevrey-Chambertin and is associated with Burgundy across several appellations, yet this bottle focuses on chardonnay from Chablis. The available information points to a small 0.63-hectare parcel, with vines of around 20 and 80 years old, giving the wine a clearly defined Premier Cru origin.

Maison Philippe Charlopin Chablis 2022 is a dry white Burgundy from the Chablis appellation, made from Chardonnay. It is not a Premier Cru or Grand Cru, but a village-level Chablis, the kind of wine where the interest lies in clarity, origin and a direct expression of the grape.
Philippe Charlopin is based in Gevrey-Chambertin and has grown the family domaine since the 1970s, with vineyards across several parts of Burgundy, including the Chablisien. Within that range, this wine shows the northern Burgundian side of Chardonnay, sitting apart from the house's better-known Pinot Noir-based red wines.
Available information points to a restrained cellar approach, with the intention of letting Chardonnay and place speak clearly. Oak is mentioned as part of Philippe (…)Maison Philippe Charlopin Chambertin Grand Cru 2022

Maison Philippe Charlopin Chambertin Grand Cru 2022 is a red Burgundy from one of the most recognised names within Gevrey-Chambertin. Chambertin Grand Cru is a small Côte de Nuits appellation dedicated to Pinot Noir, and this bottle sits firmly in that world of depth, structure and site-driven expression.
The 2022 vintage is described through ripe fruit and concentration, while retaining the freshness needed to keep the wine focused. Available product information points to a traditional Burgundian approach, with careful extraction and ageing in oak barrels, without relying on confirmed claims about the proportion of new oak.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as the kind of Burgundy that deserves time in the glass and, for those with patience, time (…)Maison Philippe Charlopin Chambolle-Musigny 2022

Maison Philippe Charlopin Chambolle-Musigny 2022 is a red Burgundy from France's Côte de Nuits, within the AOC Chambolle-Musigny appellation. The grapes come from Chambolle-Musigny itself, from the southern side of the village towards Morey-Saint-Denis, and the wine is made entirely from Pinot Noir.
The wine is connected with Domaine Philippe Charlopin-Parizot, based in Gevrey-Chambertin and active across several Burgundy appellations. For this 2022 release, vinification was followed by 18 months of ageing in French oak barrels. The available notes point less to weight and more to aromatic detail: ripe fruit, floral lift and a notably silky texture.

The wine comes from Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru, with available information pointing to fruit from the Charmes and Mazoyères sectors, giving it a very specific Côte de Nuits identity.
Philippe Charlopin is associated with a parcel-focused approach in which Pinot Noir and site expression are central. For the 2022 vintage, the wine is described as fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats and matured for around 18 months in French oak barrels. That background helps explain the combination of ripe fruit, structure and subtle oak influence mentioned in the tasting notes.

Maison Philippe Charlopin Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru 2022 Magnum is a red Burgundy from Gevrey-Chambertin in the Côte de Nuits. Presented in a 1.5 litre magnum, it has the kind of table presence that immediately suits a serious meal or a special cellar selection, while the larger format can develop more slowly than a standard bottle.
The wine is made from Pinot Noir and comes from the Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru appellation. For this 2022 release, the available product information points to fruit sourced equally from Charmes and Mazoyères, two closely connected areas in this part of Gevrey-Chambertin. The clay-limestone setting with good drainage supports the structured, concentrated style described in the tasting notes.

Made from Pinot Noir, it sits firmly in the world of serious Burgundy: structured, finely textured and built around the aromatic detail that makes this appellation so sought after.
The available information on Philippe Charlopin points to fully ripe grapes, strict sorting, relatively long skin contact, cool fermentation and maturation in oak barrels. Exact technical details for this specific wine are limited, but the tasting descriptions are consistent: expressive aromatics, a floral lift, concentration carried by suppleness, and a silky sense of texture.

Fixin is more often associated with red Burgundy, yet La Cocarde 2022 from Maison Philippe Charlopin shows another side of the appellation. Here the focus is on white Burgundy: Chardonnay from the La Cocarde parcel in the Côte de Nuits, with the freshness and mineral expression linked in the available information to Fixin's clay-limestone soils.
The style is dry, precise and focused rather than broad or heavy. The Chardonnay is described as being vinified with care to preserve the freshness of this northern Burgundian terroir, while limited oak ageing adds a little texture and depth without taking away from the wine's straight, energetic line.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this bottle stands out as a less obvious but very engaging expression of Burgundy: a (…)Maison Philippe Charlopin Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Bel-Air 2022

Maison Philippe Charlopin Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Bel-Air 2022 is a red Burgundy from Gevrey-Chambertin in the Côte de Nuits. Bel-Air is the premier cru climat here, giving the wine a clear sense of place within one of Burgundy's most recognised Pinot Noir villages.
The fruit comes from a hillside site with stony clay-limestone soils, a setting associated in the supplied notes with structure, freshness and good ripening. The wine is made through traditional vinification in closed vats, with controlled extraction of aroma and tannin, followed by ageing in oak barrels, partly new. In the young 2022 vintage, that oak influence is still described as creamy and clearly present.

Maison Philippe Charlopin Gevrey-Chambertin La Justice 2022 is a red Burgundy from Gevrey-Chambertin in the Côte de Nuits. La Justice is a named lieu-dit within the village appellation, so this is not a Premier Cru, but it does carry a clear sense of place within Gevrey-Chambertin.
Made from Pinot Noir, the wine is vinified parcel by parcel and aged in oak barrels. The available descriptions do not present the oak as dominant; the emphasis is on ripe fruit, structure and a mineral undertone linked to the clay-limestone and loam soils of this part of the village.
In the Burgundy selection at Drankenshop Broekmans, this bottle is particularly interesting for those who like village-level wines with a more precise vineyard identity. The 2022 vintage is (…)Maison Philippe Charlopin Gevrey-Chambertin Les Evocelles 2022

Maison Philippe Charlopin Gevrey-Chambertin Les Evocelles 2022 is a red Burgundy from France's Côte de Nuits, within the Gevrey-Chambertin appellation. Les Evocelles refers to a lieu-dit on the northern side of Gevrey-Chambertin, on higher parts of the slope, described in the available sources as having stony, shallow, limestone-rich soils. That origin points to a Pinot Noir with definition, freshness and structure rather than a simple, easy red.
The 2022 is presented as a ruby-coloured Burgundy built around red and dark fruit, with cherry, raspberry, ripe red fruit and black cherry supported by gentle spice, earthy notes, undergrowth, tobacco-like accents and subtle wood. The palate is described as lively at first, then broader and juicy, with fine yet noticeable (…)Maison Philippe Charlopin Gevrey-Chambertin Terre Blanches 2022

The name Terre Blanches points to light, limestone-rich soils, and that origin is central to the way this wine is described: fresh, focused and mineral rather than broad or heavy.
Philippe Charlopin is based in Gevrey-Chambertin and is described as a Burgundian family estate with vineyards across different parts of the region. For the 2022 vintage, the emphasis is on parcel-driven winemaking with respect for fruit and terroir. Oak ageing is mentioned in the available information, yet the tasting descriptions present it as a supporting element rather than a dominant one.

Maison Philippe Charlopin Gevrey-Chambertin Vieilles Vignes 2022 is a red Burgundy from Gevrey-Chambertin in the Côte de Nuits, made from Pinot Noir. The Vieilles Vignes indication is a meaningful part of the wine's identity here, with sources referring to old Pinot Noir vines of around 50 to 100 years for this cuvée.
The grapes are hand-harvested and destemmed, followed by fermentation with skin contact. The wine is then matured in wooden barrels, with 18 months of barrel ageing mentioned for this vintage. It is a style of Gevrey-Chambertin built around concentration, structure and the more refined side of Pinot Noir.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this bottle fits naturally among Burgundy wines chosen for depth rather than simple immediacy. The 2022 (…)Maison Philippe Charlopin Gevrey-Chambertin Vieilles Vignes 2022 Magnum (1,5l)

Maison Philippe Charlopin Gevrey-Chambertin Vieilles Vignes 2022 Magnum is a red Burgundy from the Côte de Nuits, made from Pinot Noir in Gevrey-Chambertin. The Vieilles Vignes indication is central to the wine: the available information refers to old, deeply rooted Pinot Noir vines on limestone-rich slopes, with vine ages described as over 60 years or roughly between 50 and 100 years.
That old-vine origin helps frame the wine's personality. Ripe grapes, extended maceration, cool fermentation and ageing in oak barrels point to a Gevrey-Chambertin with structure, concentration and a velvety texture. Philippe Charlopin is associated with Gevrey-Chambertin and with a Burgundian range in which Pinot Noir reds play a leading role. This Marsannay fits naturally into that setting: a wine shaped by origin, grape variety and vintage rather than by elaborate technical claims.
For the 2022 vintage, Philippe Charlopin described himself as pleased with the harvest, noting a welcome return of volume after lower-yielding years, despite some local hail. At Drankenshop Broekmans, (…)Maison Philippe Charlopin Marsannay En Montchenevoy 2022

Maison Philippe Charlopin Mazis-Chambertin Grand Cru 2022 is a red Burgundy from one of the highly defined Grand Cru sites of Gevrey-Chambertin in the Côte de Nuits. Mazis-Chambertin is rooted in a very specific place, with slopes marked by hard limestone, brown soils, scree material and clay-limestone. The wine is therefore best understood as Pinot Noir shaped by a precise Grand Cru origin rather than by style alone.
The 2022 vintage was matured in oak barrels. No confirmed details are available on the exact ageing time or percentage of new oak, so the most useful focus is the character described in the tasting information: broad, layered, structured and long, with red fruit, darker berry notes and a firm but integrated frame.

The 2022 vintage is described as one in which the grapes ripened regularly and evenly. That matters in the glass: the available notes point to clear fruit expression, a supple structure and a texture moving towards velvet. The fruit comes from clay-limestone soils with marl and pebbles, and the winemaking is aimed at preserving purity of fruit. The wine is matured in oak barrels, though exact details on duration and new oak for this specific wine are (…)
