Dr. Loosen Wehlener Sonnenuhr Dry GG Riesling 2018 is a dry white Riesling from Germany's Mosel region, grown in the VDP.Grosse Lage Wehlener Sonnenuhr near Wehlen. GG stands for Grosses Gewächs: a dry wine from a top classified vineyard, with origin and structure at the centre of the style.
The heart of this wine lies in its old-vine source. The grapes come from very old, ungrafted Riesling vines in the Laichen and Sandpichter parcels of Wehlener Sonnenuhr, with vines over 100 years old on original rootstocks. The blue Devonian slate soil is a key part of the wine's identity, giving it the stony, mineral line that keeps the ripe 2018 vintage firmly in focus.

Dr. Loosen Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling Kabinett 2018 is a white Mosel Riesling from Germany, grown in the renowned Wehlener Sonnenuhr vineyard near the village of Wehlen. It is made in the classic off-dry Kabinett style: low in alcohol, naturally sweet, but held together by the bright acidity that gives this type of Mosel wine its energy.
Its origin is central to its identity. The grapes come from steep slopes of blue Devonian slate, from ungrafted Riesling vines with an average age of around 60 years. They were selectively hand-harvested and fermented cool in a combination of stainless steel and traditional Fuder casks. The result is a wine that stays light on its feet while carrying real precision and Mosel tension.
