    Chateau Vrai Canon Bouche 2020 is a red Bordeaux from Fronsac with a clear Right Bank feel. Built on merlot and cabernet franc, it comes from the Canon hill, where limestone and decarbonated clay shape the style of the wine. That background matters in the glass: the fruit is ripe and generous, yet the wine keeps a fresh, mineral line.

    The winemaking is carefully handled rather than overly demonstrative. The grapes are hand-harvested, sorted, gently fermented with native yeasts and macerated for around 15 to 20 days. Ageing takes place for 12 months in barriques, half new and half once-used, giving the wine structure and polish while keeping the focus on fruit and terroir.
