    Château Dalem 2022 is the grand vin of this historic Fronsac estate on Bordeaux's Right Bank. The wine comes from the château's own vineyards, planted across clay-limestone plateaus and slopes, with vines averaging around 40 years of age. For this vintage the blend is 85% merlot and 15% cabernet franc, a composition that fits the ripe dark-fruited and structured profile described in the tasting notes.

    At Château Dalem, 2022 was a warm, sunny year, with early flowering and a summer the producer describes as Mediterranean in character. Yields were lower than expected, yet the grapes were described as homogeneous, concentrated and supported by ripe tannins with enough freshness to hold the wine together.
