Laphroaig 27y (The Single Malts Of Scotland - Director's Special) Incl. Box

In stock

Laphroaig 27y is a mature Islay single malt with a distinctly limited nature. Bottled by The Single Malts of Scotland as part of the Director's Special series, it shows a far older side of Laphroaig than most drinkers encounter regularly.

This release was matured in a bourbon barrel and bottled at 51.2%, with only 210 bottles produced. With the last bottles now in view, it occupies a special place at Drankenshop Broekmans for customers looking for an aged, small-release Islay whisky rather than a standard distillery bottling.

What makes it so engaging is the way the tasting notes move between tropical sweetness and dark smoke. Mango, banana, passion fruit and lime sit alongside coal smoke, dark chocolate, mint, tobacco and cherry jam. The result is a (…)

Caol Ila 40y (The Single Malts Of Scotland - Director's Special)

In stock

Caol Ila 40y is the kind of single malt where age and origin immediately set the tone. Forty years of maturation gives this Islay whisky a serious sense of depth, while the fact that it comes from a single hogshead cask makes it highly specific rather than broadly representative.

Bottled by The Single Malts of Scotland for the Director's Special series, it is presented at cask strength, 49.1% ABV. Only 108 bottles were drawn from the cask, and with the last bottles remaining, it has a naturally special position within the whisky selection at Drankenshop Broekmans.

The profile stays connected to Islay through peat and a salty accent, while long maturation brings wood influence and spice into focus. Fruit is present in a quieter supporting role. For anyone (…)

Compass Box Flaming Heart 7th (Compass Box Limited Edition)

On request only

Compass Box Flaming Heart 7th is a Scottish blended malt from the Compass Box limited edition range. It sits in a flavour space where peat, spice and wood are clearly present, supported by a lighter fruit note and a subtle salty edge.

There is no age statement here, and the whisky is described as multivintage. That shifts the focus away from a single number and towards the composition of the release itself: a layered blended malt shaped around intensity, smoke and structure. At 48.9% alcohol, it has enough strength to carry that profile with confidence.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Compass Box release that stands out for its combination of limited availability and a more pronounced smoky-spiced style. With 9,606 bottles produced and only the (…)

An Islay 30y (The Single Malts Of Scotland - Single Malts Of Scotland Marriage) Incl. Box

In stock

An Islay 30y is a Scottish single malt where the age and origin do most of the talking. The distillery remains undisclosed, yet the essentials are firmly in place: Islay, thirty years of maturation, and a bottling by The Single Malts of Scotland under the Marriage label.

That anonymity gives the whisky a different kind of appeal. Rather than leaning on a distillery name, it invites attention to the style itself: mature Islay malt with clear peat, wood and spice, supported by a lighter touch of fruit and salinity. At 47.5%, it has enough strength to carry that mature profile without making the alcohol the centre of attention.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the sort of bottle we would introduce to someone who enjoys aged Islay whisky and is comfortable (…)

Talisker 43y Xped Oak

In stock

Talisker 43y Xped Oak is a Scottish single malt from Skye with the kind of age statement that immediately changes the conversation. Matured for 43 years and bottled at cask strength, it retains a natural strength of 49.7%, rather than being shaped into a standard bottling strength.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the sort of bottle we place in the more distinctive corner of the whisky range: limited to 1,830 bottles, marked as a collector's item, and now down to the last bottles. It is a rare release by nature, but its appeal lies just as much in the way it presents an older, more concentrated side of Talisker.

The flavour direction is built around wood, spice and peat, with fruit playing a lighter supporting role and a subtle salty edge in the background. (…)

Bunnahabhain 18y Incl. Box

In stock

Bunnahabhain 18y is a Scottish single malt from Islay, matured for 18 years in oak casks. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see it as an Islay whisky where age, cask influence and regional character all matter, rather than a malt built around one single impression.

Its profile is shaped by oak, spice and peat, with lighter fruit notes and a subtle salty edge in support. That gives the whisky a firm sense of place while keeping the different elements in conversation. Bottled at 46.3%, it has enough strength to carry that character clearly.

This is a whisky to take time with: mature, expressive and centred on the interplay between wood, spice and peat. Additional information about the brand can be found at https://www.bunnahabhain.com/

Laphroaig 15y

Temporarily sold out
Expected: 30/10/2026

Laphroaig 15 Year Old brings an important age statement back into the permanent range of this Islay single malt. More than ten years after the previous 15-year-old release, it now sits between the 10 and 18 Year Old, showing a more mature side of Laphroaig while keeping the distillery's unmistakable identity intact.

Full maturation in American bourbon casks gives this whisky its rounded edge. The familiar peat smoke remains firmly in place, but it is softened by vanilla, gentle sweetness and a fruitier elegance. The extra ageing adds polish and depth without taking away the maritime Islay character.

Bottled at 46% and non-chill filtered, it keeps a full texture and clear aromatic presence. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a particularly interesting (…)

Ardbeg 23y

In stock

Ardbeg 23y is a mature Islay single malt with a clear sense of provenance. Distilled in 1993 and bottled at 23 years of age, it presents Ardbeg through an older lens, with the distillery name carrying real weight for those who follow peated Scotch whisky.

The maturation in sherry and bourbon casks gives this release a broader frame, while the profile remains centred on peat, oak and spice. Fruit and a gentle salty note sit more in the background, adding detail rather than taking over the whisky's identity.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we place in the conversation when someone is looking for an older Ardbeg with genuine scarcity. Its status as a collector's item, together with the indication that these are the last bottles, makes it a (…)

Lagg Small Batch Quarter Cask Incl. Box

In stock

Lagg Small Batch Quarter Cask is a bold Isle of Arran single malt built around the meeting point of peat and active oak. For this third internationally released Small Batch, the whisky spent six full years in 125-litre Quarter Casks, a maturation choice that gives the wood a particularly strong voice.

The casks were rebuilt from former bourbon barrels and selected by Distillery Manager Graham Omand to intensify the influence of the oak. Because of their smaller size, the whisky has closer contact with the wood, developing richness, sweetness and spice around clear notes of vanilla, butterscotch and toasted oak.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a strong, characterful Scottish single malt rather than a gentle introduction. Bottled at 56%, without chill (…)

Ballechin 2004 20y Incl. Box

Only 2 left in stock!

Ballechin 2004 20y is a Highland single malt with a firm, mature presence. It was distilled in 2004, aged for 20 years and bottled at 52.8% cask strength from a bourbon barrel, giving the whisky a direct and unsoftened style.

What makes this release stand out is the way its age sits alongside a clearly marked profile. Peat, spice and wood influence are all clearly present, with fruit playing a quieter supporting role and a light salty accent in the background. It is not a whisky built around sweetness or easy charm, but around depth, strength and a more assertive malt character.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this Ballechin as a bottle for drinkers who appreciate mature single malt with structure and a smoky Highland edge. With 2016 bottles released and the (…)

Lagavulin 25y 2016

Lagavulin 25y 2016 is a Scottish single malt from Islay with a distinctly special place in the range: 25 years old, sherry matured and bottled at 51.7%. It is the kind of release where age, strength and cask influence all matter, rather than a standard everyday expression.

Only 8000 bottles were released, and with the last bottles now involved, scarcity is an important part of its appeal. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a particularly notable bottle for those looking for mature Islay whisky with genuine collector interest.

The style remains clearly rooted in Islay, with peat, wood and spice forming the main structure. Fruit and a salty accent are present in a more supporting role, while the sherry maturation adds another layer to this 25-year-old (…)

Bunnahabhain 12y

Temporarily sold out

Bunnahabhain 12y is a Scottish single malt from Islay, matured for twelve years in oak casks. The age statement gives the whisky a clear sense of development, with oak, spice and peat forming the main pillars of its character.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as an Islay whisky for drinkers who want more than peat alone. The profile points to a whisky where wood influence and spice stand firmly alongside the smoky side, while lighter fruit and a salty note add extra detail.

Bottled at 46.3%, Bunnahabhain 12y has enough strength to carry its flavours with confidence. It is a single malt shaped by maturation, island origin and a flavour profile with several distinct layers.

Ballechin 15y 2nd Release Sv

In stock

Ballechin 15y 2nd Release Sv is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky from the Edradour brand, bottled with a clear focus on strength and presence. At 15 years old and 58.9% ABV, it is a whisky that keeps its intensity close to the glass rather than smoothing everything away.

Within the selection at Drankenshop Broekmans, this release stands out through the combination of age, cask strength character and limited availability. Only 3461 bottles were released, and with the final bottles now remaining, it has become a more scarce expression.

The style is shaped by noticeable wood influence, spice and peat, with fruit playing a quieter supporting role and a light salty edge adding extra definition. It is a firm, mature Ballechin for drinkers who enjoy Highland (…)

Connemara Distillers Edition Tube Incl.

In stock

Connemara Distillers Edition is an Irish single malt with a clearly smoky and spicy direction. Rather than leaning on an age statement, it presents itself through style: peat, oak cask maturation and a flavour profile with real presence.

The oak cask influence supports the whiskey without making wood the whole story. Peated smoke and spice sit at the centre, with lighter touches of fruit and a subtle salty edge around them. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a good choice for customers looking for an Irish single malt with more depth and smoky definition.

Bottled at 43%, Connemara Distillers Edition keeps a measured strength while still showing a distinct personality. Its appeal lies in that combination of Irish single malt character and a more (…)

Ballechin 2004 19y Small Batch Manzanilla

On request only

Ballechin 2004 19y Small Batch Manzanilla is a Highland single malt from Scotland with a firmly defined personality. Distilled in 2004, matured for 19 years and bottled at 55% cask strength, it presents itself as a whisky with weight and focus.

The Manzanilla cask adds an intriguing frame to a profile built around peat smoke and spice. There is a light salty edge, with fruit and wood sitting more in support than in the foreground. That makes the whisky feel driven by contrast: mature, smoky, spicy and just touched by saline character.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Ballechin we would point out to someone looking for a Highland single malt with more tension and structure than softness. The small batch nature adds to the sense of a specific, (…)

Ardbeg 2000 23y Y2k Incl. Box

In stock

Ardbeg 2000 23y Y2k is a mature Islay single malt with a very clear identity: distilled in 2000, aged for 23 years and matured in sherry casks. It presents Ardbeg through the lens of time, giving the whisky a more considered and distinctive place than a standard release.

The Y2k name draws attention to the 2000 vintage, while the 23-year age statement brings the sense of a long-matured bottling. The sherry maturation adds another dimension around the distillery's smoky and spicy side, with the available profile suggesting that wood influence remains present rather than dominant.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would place in front of someone looking for a more special Ardbeg rather than an everyday Islay pour. Its collector status and (…)

Caperdonich 25y Peated Small Batch

In stock

Caperdonich 25y Peated Small Batch is a Speyside single malt with a clear smoky side. That is what gives this whisky its point of difference: it carries the maturity of a 25 year old malt, but with peat smoke and spice taking a meaningful role in the overall character.

The hogshead maturation appears as a supporting influence rather than a heavy layer of oak. The profile stays focused on smoke and spice, with lighter fruit and a subtle salty edge adding extra definition.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this Caperdonich as a whisky for drinkers who enjoy Speyside malt with more force and depth. Bottled at cask strength at 58.1%, it keeps a firm, concentrated presence, very much in line with the small batch nature of the release.

Caol Ila 2010 14y #311745 (Berry Bros)

On request only

Caol Ila 2010 14y #311745 comes from Berry Bros & Rudd's Coasts & Shores series, a range built around distilleries shaped by remarkable coastal settings. Caol Ila fits that theme naturally. The distillery sits near Port Askaig on Islay's east coast, sheltered from the Atlantic, in a place where sea air and peat are part of the whisky's identity rather than decorative details.

Distilled in 2010 and bottled in 2024, this single malt spent 14 years maturing. It began in a 1st fill hogshead before being finished in an active Pedro Ximenez cask. That finish brings a darker, sweeter dimension to the whisky, giving the coastal and smoky Caol Ila style a layer of raisined richness and deeper sweetness.

As a single cask release with only a small outturn, this (…)

Compass Box The Nectar 15th Anniversary is a Scottish blended malt with the feel of a very specific limited release. Only 1200 bottles were produced, and this Compass Box Limited edition is marked as a collector's item. At Drankenshop Broekmans, that makes it the kind of bottle we present as something more deliberate than a regular shelf choice, especially now that only the last bottles remain.

Its flavour direction is shaped by noticeable spice and peat, with lighter support from fruit, wood and a subtle salty edge. Bottled at 49%, it has enough strength to carry that (…)

Islay 26y Macb (Elixir Distillers - Macbeth Series) Incl. Box

Very last one in stock!

Islay 26y Macb belongs to Elixir Distillers' Macbeth Collection, a series of 42 Scotch whiskies linked to characters from Shakespeare's tragedy. This release sits among the smoky whiskies representing the witches, giving it a darker, more theatrical place in the collection and a clear Islay identity.

The distillery remains undisclosed, though the whisky is described as coming from the southern coast of Islay. That secrecy suits the mood of the bottle rather well. It spent 26 years maturing in a combination of an oloroso sherry butt and a first fill bourbon barrel, then was bottled at 49.5% with 750 bottles released.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as one of those bottles where the story matters as much as the age statement: mature Islay single malt, (…)

Big Peat Feis Ile 2026 No Gitfbox (Douglas Laing Regional Malts)

Big Peat Fèis Ìle 2026 is a limited Islay release created for the island's famous whisky festival. As a blended malt, it brings together single malts from some of Islay's most renowned distilleries, carrying the bold smoky identity that defines Big Peat.

For this special edition, the whisky was finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. That extra maturation adds richness and depth around the peat smoke, giving the whisky a darker, more generous side while keeping its Islay backbone firmly in place.

Bottled by Douglas Laing as part of the Regional Malts range, it comes at natural cask strength, 52.6%, with no colouring and no chill filtration. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we highlight for drinkers who enjoy powerful, (…)
