Secret Islay 2010 12y (The Whisky Agency)
Only 2 left in stock!
Secret Islay 2010 12y is a Scottish single malt with an intentionally undisclosed origin. The label gives away the island, but not the distillery, making the whisky more about Islay, age and cask selection than about a famous name on the front.
Distilled in 2010 and matured for 12 years in a hogshead, it is bottled at 49.4%, giving it a confident presence without moving into very high-strength territory.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we value for its quiet intrigue: a clearly defined Islay single malt, with a concrete age statement, limited remaining availability and a distillery name kept deliberately in the background.
No detailed tasting notes are provided for this bottling. The available information identifies it as a (…)Stalla Dhu Saorsa Aois Sd

Stalla Dhu Saorsa Aois Sd is a Scottish whisky presented in a rather focused way: bottled at 50% and linked to a Sherry Butt. There is no elaborate background story in the supplied information, so the appeal sits in the essentials origin, cask style and strength.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would point out to someone who pays attention to those details. A Scottish whisky from a Sherry Butt, at a firm bottling strength, already gives a clear sense of direction without needing a long list of claims.
With only the last bottles indicated as available, it also has a more limited feel within the assortment. No detailed distillery background or tasting notes are provided, so this is best approached as a straightforward discovery built (…)Secret Islay 2009 14y 50,7 (The Whisky Agency)

Secret Islay 2009 14y 50,7 (The Whisky Agency)
Very last one in stock!
Secret Islay 2009 14y 50.7 is a Scottish single malt built around discretion. The name points to Islay, yet the distillery remains undisclosed, so the bottle invites a different kind of attention: less about recognition, more about discovery.
Distilled in 2009 and aged for 14 years, it comes with just enough detail to frame the whisky without giving everything away. The cask information mentions a butt, while the bottling strength of 50.7% gives it a firm, serious presence.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of release we place in front of whisky drinkers who enjoy stepping beyond the familiar distillery names. Its combination of Islay origin, stated age, undisclosed producer and final available bottles gives it a quiet but distinctive appeal.

Bunnahabhain Staoisha 2014 5 Year Old Artist is a young Islay single malt with a firmly peated identity. Bottled by Signatory as part of the Artist Edition, it focuses on the bold, direct side of Staoisha: peat takes the lead, with a clearly salty and fruity edge giving the whisky its shape.
Maturation in refill bourbon cask keeps the wood influence in the background. Rather than leaning on oak, this release puts the spirit itself in front, showing a youthful, energetic style at full cask strength. At 61.2%, it is a powerful bottling with little interest in understatement.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of independent Islay release that stands out for its clarity and force. With only the last bottles remaining, this Signatory bottling has become (…)Ardbeg 2013 8y Single Cask

Ardbeg 2013 8y Single Cask

Ardbeg 2013 8y Single Cask is a very focused Islay single malt: one cask, one maturation story and a limited outturn of 670 bottles. Distilled on 20 February 2013 and bottled on 9 September 2021, it captures Ardbeg at 8 years old through the lens of a single individual cask.
The whisky was matured in a Sherry Butt and bottled at cask strength, 60.9%, giving this release a direct and uncompromised presentation. Rather than blending several casks into a broader house style, this bottling keeps the attention on the specific cask from which it came.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottles like this are valued for their clear sense of origin and limited nature. The combination of single cask, cask strength, 670 bottles and the fact that these are the last bottles makes (…)Mars The Y.A #2 Incl. Box

Mars The Y.A #2 is a Japanese blended malt from Mars Maltage, bottled at 49%. With no age statement given, the focus shifts away from maturation numbers and towards the composition itself: how the malt character, fruit and peat come together in the glass.
Its profile is built around clearly present fruitiness and peat smoke, supported by lighter floral, woody, spicy and slightly salty accents. That gives the whisky a more layered direction than a simple fruit-led style, while still keeping the main impression easy to understand: fruit and smoke are the two defining elements here.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would point out to customers looking for Japanese whisky with a little more edge. With only the last bottles remaining, Mars (…)Lagg Inaugural Release 3

Lagg Inaugural Release 3 belongs to the early story of Lagg on the Isle of Arran. This Scottish single malt was distilled in 2019 and bottled at 50%, with a Wine Finish giving this release its own place within the distillery's first wave of bottlings.
The release was limited to 10,000 bottles, and with the last bottles now in focus it has a particular relevance at Drankenshop Broekmans. We see it as a snapshot from the formative years of Lagg: young, clearly defined and already showing a firm sense of direction.
Its flavour profile points to a whisky where fruit and peat carry the main impression, supported by lighter floral, woody, spicy and slightly salty accents. The 50% strength adds presence, making this a single malt with a more pronounced stance rather (…)Bowmore 2001 15y Artist (La Maison Du Whisky - Artist Collection)

Caol Ila 1995 20y Artist is a sharply defined Islay single malt rather than a broad house-style release. Signatory bottled it for the Artist Edition from a single hogshead, at cask strength, with an alcoholic strength of 54.1%. That gives this whisky a very specific identity: one cask, one vintage, twenty years of maturation.
Only 276 bottles were drawn from this cask, and these are now the last bottles. Within the Drankenshop Broekmans range, that makes it a particularly focused choice for drinkers who enjoy independent bottlings with a clear sense of origin.

Ardbeg Uigeadail Incl. Box

Ardbeg Uigeadail, pronounced Oog-a-dal, takes its name from Loch Uigeadail, the water source connected to the making of this Islay single malt. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see it as one of those whiskies that explains its reputation in the glass: firmly peated, full-bodied and shaped by a carefully chosen marriage of casks.
The heart of Uigeadail is its vatting method. Ardbeg combines deep smoky notes from old American oak bourbon casks with the savoury, raisin-like character of old Oloroso sherry casks. That is what gives this whisky its particular tension: the traditional Ardbeg house style remains bold and smoky, while the sherry influence adds a darker sweetness and extra depth.
Bottled at 54.2%, it has plenty of natural strength. Enjoyed neat, it shows (…)Mars The Y.A #5 Incl. Box

Mars The Y.A #5 is a Japanese blended malt with a very specific maturation story. It was matured entirely on Yakushima, an island set within a maritime ecosystem listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. That island setting is not just background information here; it is central to the whisky's identity.
Yakushima's subtropical microclimate brings mild winters, warm summers and very high humidity throughout the year. With annual evaporation estimated at 7 to 14%, the interaction between whisky and wood is accelerated in a striking way. The ocean nearby and the constant sea breeze add a subtle maritime, saline influence to the whisky's profile.
The blend combines distillates from Komagatake and Tsunuki, bringing together the elegance associated with Komagatake (…)Octomore 17.3 Tube Incl.

Temporarily sold out
Octomore 17.3 is Bruichladdich's most terroir-focused and extreme expression within the trio. This 5-year-old Islay single malt is made from barley grown in Irene's Field on Octomore Farm, tying its identity closely to its place of origin.
At 132.1 PPM and 60.9% alcohol, it is a forceful whisky, yet its interest lies in more than peat alone. A cask combination of Bourbon, Sauternes, Ribera del Duero, Ice Wine and Syrah brings fruit, sweetness and spice into contact with an intensely smoky core.
For Drankenshop Broekmans, Octomore 17.3 stands out as a whisky for those moments when Islay character may be unapologetically powerful: deep peat smoke, layered cask influence and a clear sense of origin all brought together in one concentrated release.

Ardbeg Smokiverse - Ardbeg Day 2025

Ardbeg Smokiverse is the Ardbeg Day 2025 Limited Edition, an Islay single malt that stays firmly within Ardbeg's smoky territory while giving extra space to fruit and sweetness. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as one of those releases where the interest lies not just in the label, but in the way the distillery has approached the whisky itself.
For Smokiverse, Ardbeg experimented with high gravity mashing: more grain and less water in the mash tun. That creates a denser wort and enhances flavour-active acetate esters. The result is still unmistakably smoky, but with a more pronounced fruit-driven and sweet aromatic side.
Bottled at 48.3% and clear gold in the glass, this limited edition brings together Islay peat smoke, sweetness and a vivid fruity edge. (…)Smokehead Twisted Stout (Ian Macleod) Incl. Box

Smokehead Twisted Stout is an Islay single malt with a clear sense of direction: peat, salt and a beer-finished twist. It sits firmly in the Smokehead world, where the whisky is meant to feel bold rather than discreet, but this release adds another angle through its finish.
There is no age statement here, so the focus is less on maturation length and more on style. The Islay side comes through in the peated and salty profile, while lighter notes of wood, spice, fruit and floral character give it some extra movement around the edges.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would point out to someone who enjoys the coastal, smoky side of Scotch whisky but wants to taste a Smokehead expression with a different finishing idea. At 43% ABV, it keeps (…)Caol Ila + Cambus 35y 2x50cl

Big Peat 12y takes the familiar Big Peat story into a more mature register. This Islay blended malt is bottled by Douglas Laing as part of the Regional Malts range, a series built around clear, classic expressions of Scotland's whisky regions.
With Big Peat, that regional identity is unmistakably Islay: peat, maritime salinity, smoke, charred oak and darker ashy tones. The 12 years of age give the whisky more depth and cohesion, while keeping the bold coastal character that defines the name.

Kilchoman Family Collection Ex Bourbon 18y presents a more mature side of Kilchoman. For this Islay single malt, eighteen years of ageing is an important milestone: the heavily peated malt still gives the whisky its unmistakable smoky foundation, but time in bourbon barrels has softened the edges and brought greater aromatic depth.
The interest here lies in the way the peat has settled into the whisky. It remains clear, yet more refined, sitting alongside ripe fruit, vanilla and a gentle toasted wood influence. It feels like a grown-up reading of the Kilchoman style rather than a forceful display of peat alone.

Talisker Parley Wilder Seas

Talisker Parley Wilder Seas is a limited-edition single malt from Skye that places the sea at the centre of the story. That connection is present in the whisky's salty, smoky character, but also in the collaboration behind the release: Talisker works with Parley For The Oceans to help protect marine nature areas for future generations.
Maturation in French oak XO cognac casks gives this Talisker an added fruit-driven depth. Soft plum, sweet raisin, sea salt and spicy smoke are the key impressions here, carried with good intensity at 48.6% alcohol. It remains recognisably maritime, while the cognac cask influence brings a richer fruit tone to the conversation.
The bottle itself is part of the same idea, made from 100% recycled glass and produced using biofuel. (…)Caol Ila 13y Gmp (Gordon & Mcphail) Tube Incl.

Caol Ila 13 Year Old by Gordon & MacPhail shows a welcoming side of Islay single malt without losing the island signature. It comes from the Discovery range, created as an accessible introduction to Gordon & MacPhail's single malt portfolio. Caol Ila itself is located on the north-eastern side of Islay, near Port Askaig, and that origin comes through in the whisky's gentle peat smoke and salty edge.
What makes this bottling stand out is the sweet, fruit-led expression of that Islay style. The bourbon cask maturation supports notes of vanilla, apricot jam and tropical fruit, while malt, lemon zest and soft smoke keep the whisky lively and unmistakably coastal. At 13 years old and bottled at 43%, it feels composed, clear and easy to understand without becoming (…)Laphroaig 2005 20y (The Whisky Agency - Milroy's For Twa)

Laphroaig 2005 20y shows a very direct Islay personality, but with the extra depth that comes from long maturation in a single hogshead. Distilled in 2005 and bottled after 20 years by The Whisky Agency under the Milroy's for TWA label, this is a single cask release bottled at cask strength, 52.2%. That makes it feel less like a regular expression and more like a precise snapshot of one individual cask at maturity.
