Croftenga 2006 15y (The Whisky Trail By Elixir - Silhouette Series)

On request only

Croftenga 2006 15y is a Highland single malt from Loch Lomond, bottled independently by The Whisky Trail by Elixir as part of the Silhouette Series. It is the kind of release where the individual cask matters: one selection, one point in maturation, one clearly defined style.

The whisky was distilled in 2006 and bottled in 2022 after 15 years, drawn from a single hogshead at cask strength. With an outturn of just 269 bottles and a strength of 53.2%, it keeps a close connection to the cask rather than presenting itself as a broad, polished batch.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this Croftenga earns its place through that combination of Highland origin, single cask scarcity and a distinctly coastal, peated direction. As these are the last bottles, it is a (…)

Ardbeg Wee Beastie 5y

In stock

Ardbeg Wee Beastie 5y is the youngest whisky from Ardbeg, and that youthful edge is very much part of its identity. This Islay single malt is built around raw smoky power, with a bold, direct style that does not try to soften its personality.

Matured for five years in ex-bourbon and oloroso sherry casks, it brings together peat smoke, salinity, cracked black pepper, tar and a savoury meaty note. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see Wee Beastie as a particularly vivid way to discover Ardbeg's more untamed side: compact in age, but far from shy in character.

It can be enjoyed neat, with a splash of water or over a few large ice cubes. The producer also suggests using it in a Bramble Bite cocktail with fresh lemon juice, vanilla syrup, blackberry liqueur and mint, (…)

Berry Bros Classic Islay (Berry Bros Classic Range)

In stock

Berry Bros Classic Islay gives a clear reading of what many drinkers look for in an Islay single malt: peat smoke, a firm salty edge and a style that stays focused rather than overworked.

Part of the Berry Bros Classic Range, this bottling is not built around an age statement, but around a recognisable regional character. Bottled at 45.3% and matured in oak casks, it places the peated and coastal elements at the centre, with lighter fruit and spice sitting more quietly behind them.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of whisky we would point to when someone wants a straightforward Islay expression with enough strength and definition: smoky, saline and unmistakably shaped by its style.

The flavour is led by peat smoke and a clear salty (…)

Old Pulteney 2012 10y Flotilla Incl. Box

Last one in stock!

Old Pulteney 2012 10y Flotilla is a Scottish Highland single malt, distilled in 2012 and matured for 10 years. It sits within the Old Pulteney range as a release with a more defined flavour direction, built around a clearly salty profile.

The bourbon barrel maturation gives the whisky its ageing framework, while the supplied flavour profile points strongly toward salt and peat. Fruit and spice are present in a lighter, supporting role, so the emphasis is less on heavy oak influence and more on a direct, characterful style.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we would place this bottle among the Highland single malts for drinkers looking for something with a firmer edge. Bottled at 46%, it has enough strength to carry that salty, peated side without being presented as a (…)

Laphroaig Elements L1.0 Incl. Box

In stock

Laphroaig Elements L1.0 is a Scottish single malt from Islay with the emphasis firmly on the side of peat and salinity. At 58.6% alcohol, it is a robust release rather than a gentle introduction, carrying its Islay identity with real presence.

Maturation in a bourbon barrel gives the whisky its setting, yet the supplied flavour profile does not put wood at the centre. The impression is driven more by peat smoke and coastal saltiness, with lighter touches of fruit and spice in support. As a no-age-statement bottling, it draws attention to style, strength and expression rather than maturation age.

For Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Laphroaig that speaks clearly to drinkers who appreciate a more pronounced Islay character. With only the last bottles (…)

Port Charlotte Syc:01 2013 10y

In stock

Port Charlotte Syc:01 2013 10y is a Scottish single malt from Islay with a clearly coastal, peated identity. Distilled in 2013, aged for ten years and bottled at 54.4%, it comes across as a whisky with real presence and a firm sense of place.

The use of bourbon and wine casks gives the maturation its framework, yet the main character remains centred on peat and salinity. Fruit and spice are part of the picture, but they sit in a supporting role rather than taking over the style.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a fitting choice for drinkers looking for the stronger side of Islay: smoke, maritime tension and enough structure to keep the whisky focused.

The flavour profile is led by clear peat smoke and a pronounced salty edge. Lighter (…)

Caol Ila 2013 9y (Campbeltown Whisky Company - Watt Whisky)

On request only

Caol Ila 2013 9y is a Scottish Islay single malt with a very focused identity: one cask, one vintage and a total outturn of 306 bottles. It was distilled in 2013 and bottled in 2023 after 9 years of maturation in a hogshead.

The appeal here lies in its directness. Bottled at cask strength at 59.6%, it keeps close to the individual cask rather than presenting a softened house-style version. The profile is clearly shaped by salty and peated elements, while fruit and spice play a more supporting role.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this Watt Whisky release from the Campbeltown Whisky Company sits among those bottlings that are chosen for their specific point of view. As a single cask with the last bottles available, this Caol Ila feels like a small, well-defined (…)

Port Charlotte 12y Rbt (Rest & Be Thankful)

On request only

Port Charlotte 12y Rbt is an Islay single malt with a very specific identity: distilled on 17 June 2002, bottled on 5 May 2015 and drawn from a single sherry butt. Rather than a broad batch release, this is the character of one individual cask captured at 12 years of age.

Bottled at cask strength, at 63.8% ABV, it presents Port Charlotte in a notably direct and powerful form. The profile points clearly towards Islay, with peat and a salty edge taking the lead, while spice and fruit sit more in support.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, releases like this are valued for their focus: one cask, one maturation path, and a limited number of bottles by nature. With the last bottles now in view, it has become a particularly scarce example of Port Charlotte in a concentrated (…)

Islay 2007 16y (Alistair Walker - Infrequent Flyers) Tube Incl.

Very last one in stock!

This Islay 2007 16 Year Old from Alistair Walker's Infrequent Flyers range is deliberately discreet about its distillery, but far from vague in character. The name points to the essentials: a single malt from Islay, distilled in 2007 and bottled in 2023 after 16 years of maturation, with peat, salt and coastal intensity at its core.

Drawn from a single cask and bottled at cask strength, 54.4%, it represents one very specific slice of maturation rather than a broad house style. Only 305 bottles were produced, and with the last bottles now available, it has the feel of a release that is quietly slipping away. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is exactly the kind of bottling we like to place in front of curious whisky drinkers: recognisably Islay, yet not defined by a distillery (…)

Lagavulin 10y

Only 2 left in stock!

Lagavulin 10y is a Scottish Islay single malt with a clearly peated and coastal profile. The 10-year age statement gives this whisky a defined shape: smoke and salt are at the centre, while lighter fruity and spicy notes add some detail around the edges.

Maturation in bourbon casks forms part of its make-up, but the main impression here is the Islay character shown in the supplied profile: peat and salinity are the leading elements. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this Lagavulin as a good reference point for drinkers looking for a direct, smoky island malt with a pronounced maritime touch.

Bottled at 43%, Lagavulin 10y keeps its presentation clear and focused. It is the kind of whisky to choose when the appeal lies in firm peat smoke, a salty accent and a (…)

Ardbeg Smoketrails 1st Edition Manzanilla 1l Travel Retail

In stock

Ardbeg Smoketrails 1st Edition Manzanilla is an Islay single malt with a clear sense of place: peat smoke and a salty edge sit at the heart of the whisky. The Manzanilla name points to a sherry finish, giving this release a different angle from a style built solely around smoke.

Bottled at 46% and presented as a one-litre Travel Retail edition, it carries no age statement. That puts the focus firmly on origin, cask influence and flavour direction. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see it as an Ardbeg release for those who appreciate the distillery's smoky Islay side, with fruit and gentle spice playing a supporting role through the sherry finish.

As the first edition of Smoketrails and now down to the last bottles, it has become a more limited find. Its appeal (…)

Lagavulin 16y Incl. Box

In stock

Lagavulin 16y is a Scottish single malt from Islay with a very clear identity: mature, peated and distinctly maritime in style. The 16-year age statement gives it a sense of development, while its Islay origin remains at the centre of the experience.

Maturation in sherry and bourbon casks adds depth to the whisky's structure, but the main impression is shaped by peat and saltiness. Fruit and spice are present in a more supporting role, giving some extra nuance without taking attention away from the island character.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, Lagavulin 16y is the kind of whisky we place in front of customers looking for a classic Islay single malt with maturity and a clear peated signature. Bottled at 43%, it keeps its strength controlled while still showing a (…)

Bunnahabhain Toiteach A Dha

In stock

Bunnahabhain Toiteach A Dha shows a clearly peated side of Islay single malt. Smoke and coastal salinity are the main impressions here, supported by lighter touches of fruit and spice that give the whisky more shape without moving it away from its maritime core.

As a no age statement release bottled at 46.3%, it is less about age on a label and more about the style in the glass. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see it as a fitting choice within our Islay selection for drinkers who appreciate peat and salt-driven whisky with a little added nuance from fruit and spice.

Ardbeg Supernova Committee Release

In stock

Ardbeg Supernova Committee Release is an Islay single malt with peat and salinity at the centre of its character. Bourbon cask maturation appears here as a supporting element, adding light wood influence, a touch of spice and a modest fruity edge around the smoky, coastal profile.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we would place this bottle among the scarcer Ardbeg releases rather than everyday drinking stock. It is a Committee Release, bottled at cask strength at 53.8%, with no age statement and marked as a collector's item. With only the last bottles remaining, its limited availability is very much part of the appeal.

This is an Ardbeg to approach for its directness and strength of character: Islay peat, a salty profile and a firm bottling strength define the (…)

Distilled in 2017 and aged for 5 years, it keeps a youthful, direct energy. The American Oak maturation frames the whisky, while the supplied profile points most strongly toward peat smoke and saltiness, with lighter traces of fruit and spice in support.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would introduce to someone looking for a forceful Islay single malt rather than a softened interpretation of the style. Octomore 14.2 is compact, powerful and unmistakably driven by peat and coastal character.

Octomore 14.1 Tube Incl. (Damaged: Label dirty, damaged or missing)

Very last one in stock!

Octomore 14.1 is an Islay single malt from Bruichladdich with a very direct sense of power. Bottled at cask strength at 59.6%, it places peat firmly at the centre, supported by a clearly salty side that gives the whisky a strong island identity.

Distilled in 2017 and matured for 5 years in a bourbon barrel, this release is not presented as a wood-driven whisky. The available flavour profile gives oak little emphasis, so the focus stays on peat intensity, salinity and the energy of a young cask-strength single malt.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see Octomore 14.1 as a whisky for drinkers who deliberately seek out the more forceful side of Islay: high strength, dominant peat and a compact maturation that keeps the message clear. With only the last bottles (…)

Caol Ila 18y Incl. Box

In stock

Caol Ila 18y is a Scottish single malt from Islay where peat and maturity meet in a restrained, grown-up way. The Islay identity is clearly part of the whisky, yet the 18 years of ageing give it a calmer and more developed presence than a purely forceful peated style.

Matured in oak cask and bottled at 43%, it sits in a classic strength range while keeping the focus on its island character. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Caol Ila we would point to when someone wants a peated Islay single malt with a little more age, supported by gentle fruit, light spice and a salty accent.

Its appeal lies in the way the smoke is clearly there without becoming the only thing to notice. The age gives the whisky room to breathe, making it a considered expression (…)

Finlaggan Eilean Mor Incl. Box

Finlaggan Eilean Mor is a Scottish single malt from Islay, built around a clearly peated style. Bottled at 46%, it carries a little more weight than many lower-strength malts, while keeping the focus away from age statement detail and firmly on character.

The bourbon cask maturation frames a profile where peat is the main feature, supported by lighter notes of fruit, spice and salinity. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a straightforward Islay choice for drinkers who want smoke to be present and recognisable, with a few surrounding nuances rather than an overly technical presentation.

Islay Mist Double Peated

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a straightforward introduction to a more pronounced peated side of blended Scotch. Bottled at 40%, it stays within a familiar drinking strength, while the stated flavour profile points to definite peat supported by lighter notes of spice, fruit and a salty edge.

With no age statement given, the focus rests less on years of maturation and more on the whisky's direct personality: Scottish, Islay-led and clearly smoky in character. Additional information can be found at https://www.islaymist.com/

The Port Finish adds another layer to a profile shaped by salinity, peat smoke and spice, with fruit playing a more subtle supporting role.

With no age statement, the focus here is not on a number of years, but on the chosen style: a strong 2023 Talisker release with a finishing touch that gives the whisky a different angle. The 2022 release carries no age statement, so the focus falls squarely on its flavour direction: smoky, saline and spicy, with fruit playing a more modest supporting role.

At 45.8% alcohol, it has enough strength to keep that coastal and peated character firmly present. With only the last bottles remaining, this is not a release that will stay around indefinitely.
