Ben Nevis 28y Macb (Elixir Distillers - Macbeth Series)

On request only

Ben Nevis 28y Macb belongs to Elixir Distillers' Macbeth Collection, a series of 42 Scottish whiskies named after characters from Shakespeare's tragedy. This release represents Ross: intelligent, experienced and sharp enough to understand where power is moving before others do.

That idea is reflected in the choice of whisky. A 28-year-old Ben Nevis from refill hogsheads brings maturity without losing the distillery character described in the product information. The continued use of brewer's yeasts in production is linked here to weight and body, while fresh fruit notes give the whisky energy beside its age and depth.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we like to introduce with a little context, because the concept and the whisky strengthen (…)

Strathclyde 1993 28y (Elixir Distillers - Whisky Trail)

On request only

Strathclyde 1993 28y is a Lowland grain whisky with a quietly rare profile. Distilled on 17 August 1993 and bottled on 21 February 2022, it spent 28 years maturing before being released by Elixir Distillers as part of the Whisky Trail series.

The appeal here lies in its very specific origin. This is a single cask bottling from a bourbon cask, presented at natural cask strength of 55.1% ABV. With only 195 bottles drawn from the cask, and with the last bottles now remaining, it has the feel of a whisky captured from one precise point in time.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this Strathclyde as a fine example for drinkers who want to give grain whisky the attention it deserves. Its profile points towards floral, fruity and woody dimensions, with spice playing a (…)

Hibiki 21y Kacho Fugetsu 2015 3rd Edition

In stock

Hibiki 21y Kacho Fugetsu 2015 3rd Edition is a Japanese whisky with a distinctly special-release feel. A 21-year age statement, a total outturn of 2,000 bottles and its position as a collector's item make it far removed from a routine Hibiki bottling.

The Kacho Fugetsu name marks this as a 2015 edition with its own place in the Hibiki range. It is the kind of bottle that speaks as much about a particular release moment as it does about the whisky inside. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we tend to value releases like this for that sense of specificity: a defined edition, from a recognised name, with limited availability.

The flavour profile points towards a whisky shaped by floral notes, fruit and wood influence, with spice playing a lighter supporting role. Peat (…)

Midleton Barry Crocket Legacy Incl. Box

Only 2 left in stock!

Midleton Barry Crocket Legacy is best understood with one important distinction: this is not Midleton Very Rare, the well-known Midleton blend, but the prestigious single pot still created as a tribute to Barry Crocket. It carries the name of the Master Distiller himself, giving the whiskey a more personal place within the Midleton range.

The style is very much in line with what the supplied notes describe as Midleton's elegant, perfumed character. Maturation takes place exclusively in bourbon casks, bringing American oak, vanilla and structure to a whiskey that is also marked by fruit, including an exotic fruit impression. At 22 years old and bottled at 46%, it comes across as a mature and carefully composed Irish whiskey.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see (…)

Knappogue Castle 1996 25y (La Maison Du Whisky - Ex Libris)

In stock

Knappogue Castle 1996 25y is an Irish single malt whiskey with a very focused release story. Distilled in 1996 and bottled in 2021, it spent 25 years maturing before being bottled by La Maison du Whisky for the Ex Libris series.

The appeal here lies in its precision: one Bourbon Barrel, bottled at natural cask strength of 53.1%, with only 200 bottles drawn from the cask. Rather than a broad regular release, this is a tightly defined expression of a single cask after a long period of maturation.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottles like this are selected for customers who look beyond category and age statement alone. Here, the vintage, the single cask origin, the limited outturn and the collector's interest all come together. The fact that these are the last (…)

Hibiki Blossom Harmony 2021

In stock

Hibiki Blossom Harmony 2021 is a Japanese blended whisky with a distinctly elegant idea behind it. Rather than presenting itself through an age statement, it draws attention to style, composition and the Sakura Cask influence that gives this 2021 release its own identity.

The character sits around floral, fruity and woody tones, with a lighter touch of spice in support. There is no peat-driven or salty profile here; the emphasis is on a more refined side of Japanese blending, bottled at 43% alcohol.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we regard this as one of those Hibiki releases that speaks to customers looking for something more special than a regular shelf bottle. Its collector's item status and the fact that these are last bottles point to a whisky that has become (…)

North British 1988 30y Tb (Thompson Brothers)

On request only

North British 1988 30y Tb is a Scottish grain whisky from the Lowlands with time at the centre of its character. It was distilled on 19 April 1988 and bottled on 27 March 2019, after 30 years of maturation, and released at cask strength with an alcohol strength of 51.7%.

The appeal here lies in its precision. Drawn from a single refill butt, this release produced only 311 bottles, and the remaining stock is now down to the last bottles. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of whisky we place in front of customers who enjoy a clearly defined cask story rather than a broad, blended house style.

Its profile points towards fruit, floral notes and wood, with spice playing a supporting role. Peat and salinity are not part of the picture here, so the focus (…)

Mannochmore 2013 12y (Cadenhead - Original Collection)

On request only

Mannochmore can be especially rewarding when it is presented in a clean, distillate-led way, and this 12-year-old 2013 release does exactly that. Bottled by Cadenhead as part of the Original Collection, it highlights the fruity and floral side of this Speyside single malt with a fresh, lively feel.

Maturation took place solely in bourbon hogsheads, giving the whisky room to show its brightness while adding gentle wood influence and a touch of spice. At 46%, it has enough presence in the glass without moving away from its elegant, approachable style.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we like for customers who enjoy discovering independent Speyside whiskies beyond the most familiar labels. With the final bottles now available, it is also a (…)

Cambus 1991 30y Dlxop (Douglas Laing Extra Old Particular) Incl. Box

In stock

Cambus 1991 30y DLXOP is a mature Scottish single grain whisky from the Lowlands, distilled in September 1991 and bottled in January 2022 after 30 years of maturation. It is the kind of bottling where the appeal lies in the specific moment captured from one individual cask.

Douglas Laing released this Cambus as part of the Extra Old Particular range, drawn from a single refill hogshead and bottled at natural cask strength, 59.5%. That refill cask setting keeps the wood influence present without making the whisky feel entirely cask-led, allowing its floral, fruity and gently spiced sides to come through alongside the maturity.

Only 278 bottles were released, and with the last bottles now in view, it has become a particularly focused choice within the (…)

Jameson Triple Distilled & Triple Cask 1l

Jameson Triple Distilled & Triple Cask 1l is presented around two clear ideas: triple distillation and a Triple Cask approach. The supplied information does not specify the cask types, so the focus remains on its Irish whiskey identity and on the production and maturation themes highlighted by the name.

At 40% ABV and in a generous one-litre bottle, it sits at Drankenshop Broekmans as a recognisable Jameson expression with an extra Triple Cask angle, suited to customers looking for an Irish whiskey from a well-known brand in a practical larger format.

Port Dundas 2005 21y (Douglas Laing Single Minded) Incl. Box

Temporarily sold out
Expected: 06/11/2026

Port Dundas 2005 21y is a fine reminder that mature Scotch grain whisky can be every bit as compelling as malt. Douglas Laing's Single Minded range does not focus solely on single malts; it also gives space to Scotland's great grain distilleries. In this case, the spotlight falls on Port Dundas, a historic Lowland distillery that is now closed, making its remaining stocks increasingly scarce.

With 21 years of maturation behind it, this Single Grain has had time to develop a polished, refined style. Douglas Laing bottled this Small Batch at 46%, without chill filtration and without added colouring, keeping the whisky close to its natural character.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a particularly engaging bottle for anyone who wants to explore the (…)

Glengoyne Legacy Chapter 3 Incl. Box

In stock

Glengoyne Legacy Chapter 3 is a Highland single malt built around patience. The product information points to Scotland's slowest stills and to an unhurried approach dating back to 1833, so the name Legacy feels especially fitting here. It is a whisky presented with time, fruit and cask quality at its centre.

Sherry maturation gives this release its darker, richer side, while the tasting profile keeps plenty of fruit in play. Berry jam, apple, pear, raisins, spice and dark chocolate all sit within the same generous style, carried by a confident strength of 48%.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Glengoyne we like to introduce to customers looking for Highland single malt with fruit depth, cask influence and gentle spice, rather than peat smoke or (…)

Compass Box Artist #11 Pentalogy Generosity (Artist Collection)

In stock

Compass Box Artist #11 Pentalogy Generosity is a Scottish grain whisky from the Compass Box Artist Collection. The name immediately places it outside the everyday range: this is a release where the whisky itself and the artistic presentation form part of the same story.

Bottled at 51.9%, it is presented at cask strength, giving it a firm presence in the glass. That higher strength suits the more specialised nature of this release and gives the whisky room to show its character without feeling like a routine bottling.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a particularly interesting Compass Box release because of its limited scale and collectible positioning. Only 630 bottles were produced, and with the last bottles now available, Artist #11 Pentalogy (…)

Littlemill 1989 32y (The Whisky Agency)

In stock

Littlemill 1989 32y is a single malt where time is the central element. Distilled in 1989 and bottled in 2022 at 32 years of age, this Lowland whisky captures the character of one individual cask rather than a broader house blend.

Matured in a hogshead and bottled at cask strength, 55.2%, it has been presented in a direct and undiluted style. The focus remains on the long maturation, the influence of the cask and the mature spirit itself.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this Littlemill stands out through the combination of considerable age, single cask origin and limited remaining availability. With only the last bottles left, it has the quiet appeal of a release that will not remain easy to revisit.

The style points towards a Lowland single malt (…)

The Irishman Trilogy 3x5cl

In stock

The Irishman Trilogy 3x5cl is a neat introduction to Irish single malt whiskey in gift pack form. With three 5 cl bottles, it gives you a compact way to explore The Irishman without committing straight away to a full-sized bottle.

Rather than focusing on an age statement, this set puts the style of the whiskey at the centre. Oak cask maturation brings a gentle wood note, while the flavour profile leans more clearly towards fruit and floral tones, with a light touch of spice in support. Peat smoke is not part of the profile here.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this Trilogy as the kind of set that works well for discovery and gifting: concise, well presented and centred on the approachable character of Irish single malt.

Teeling Rising 2 Marsala 21y 46_

On request only

Teeling Rising Reserve N°2 shows the more mature, cask-driven side of Irish single malt. This 21-year-old whiskey spent more than 18 years in ex-Bourbon casks before moving for a further 3 years into high-quality ex-Marsala casks. That is long enough for the Marsala influence to become part of the whiskey's identity rather than just a brief finishing touch.

The maturation story is very much reflected in its style. The ex-Bourbon years bring sweetness and age, while the Marsala period adds red fruit, gentle spice and a fresh citrus accent. Fruit, wood, spice and floral notes all sit clearly within the profile, giving the whiskey a layered but composed character.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, releases like this are especially interesting because they show how (…)

Shenk's Homestead 2019

Only 2 left in stock!

Shenk's Homestead 2019 is an American whiskey with rye playing a particularly important role. That substantial rye component gives this release a firm spicy drive, while the whiskey still keeps the sweeter side that comes through in caramel, toasted sugar and dried fruit.

For the 2019 edition, part of the fully matured whiskey was finished in toasted, uncharred French oak barrels. The oak came from the Vosges in France, was naturally air-dried and seasoned for 24 months, and then toasted to specific requirements. That finishing choice was made to bring the rye character more clearly to the surface.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see Shenk's Homestead 2019 as a whiskey for those who enjoy American styles with more spice and structure than simple sweetness. The (…)

Nikka The Nikka Limited Incl. Box

Nikka The Nikka Limited is a blended whisky built around the craft of blending itself. It was created through the collaboration of Hiromi Osaki, master blender at Nikka Whisky, and his successor Junji Iseki. Rather than simply bringing casks together, this release feels composed with patience, precision and a clear sense of legacy.

The blend includes a 1989 Yoichi distillate and a 1979 Miyagikyo distillate, both matured in mizunara oak, alongside selected Ben Nevis casks from the 1980s. Those elements give the whisky its depth: mature wood tones, gentle peat influence and layered richness, all held together in a refined Japanese blending style.

Hibiki Master's Select is a Japanese blended whisky with a polished, refined style. As a no age statement whisky, it draws attention to the composition of the blend rather than to a specific maturation age.

The character is built around clear floral and fruity tones, with oak and spice playing a more restrained supporting role. It does not move into smoky or peated territory; the impression is clean, graceful and carefully measured.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, Hibiki Master's Select sits well among Japanese whiskies for drinkers looking for a blend with aromatic finesse, fruit-led charm and a subtle oak influence. Bottled at 43%, it keeps a calm and balanced presence.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, Paul John Mithuna has a clear place among single malts for drinkers who enjoy discovering whisky beyond the classic regions. The supplied flavour profile points to a style where fruit and wood are clearly present, with spice and a light floral note adding further detail.

Auchentoshan Virgin Oak Batch 2

In stock

Auchentoshan Virgin Oak Batch 2 is a Lowland single malt from Scotland with oak placed firmly in the foreground. The name says a great deal already: Virgin Oak, supported by the American Oak cask reference, points to a whisky where the wood influence is part of the main conversation rather than a quiet background note.

There is no age statement here, so the identity of the whisky rests more on cask choice, batch character and style. At 46% ABV it has enough presence to carry its fruit-led and wood-driven profile, while the available information does not point towards peat or salty coastal notes.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Auchentoshan we would place in front of someone curious about a more oak-accented side of the Lowland single malt style. (…)

Singleton Of Dufftown Trinity Cask Harmony 25y

Only 2 left in stock!

Singleton Of Dufftown Trinity Cask Harmony 25y is a mature Speyside single malt built around age and cask influence. After 25 years of maturation, with sherry and bourbon casks in the picture, its character is shaped mainly by fruit and wood, while lighter floral and spicy notes give it extra detail.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a whisky for those moments when the interest lies in maturity rather than peat or coastal sharpness. The profile points clearly towards an aged Speyside style, where time in cask is the central part of the experience.

With only the last bottles remaining, this release has become a particularly relevant choice for anyone looking for an older Singleton of Dufftown shaped by sherry and bourbon cask maturation. More (…)
