Mortlach 1987 38y (Adelphi) Incl. Box
On request only
Mortlach 1987 38y is a Speyside single malt with a distinctly mature presence. Distilled in 1987 and bottled in 2025, it spent 38 years in a bourbon hogshead, developing what the supplied information describes as rare complexity and exceptional aromatic depth.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this bottle stands out because it captures one very specific cask: #1594. Only 188 bottles were drawn from it, and with the last bottles now indicated, it has the quiet appeal of a whisky that cannot be repeated in the same form.
The character is led by mature wood, supported by spice and fruit, with only a subtle floral and mineral-saline edge and no peat influence in the profile. At 45.9%, it reads as an old Mortlach shaped by time, cask and patient maturation rather than by (…)Bruichladdich 30y

Bruichladdich 30y is an Islay single malt where time is the central element. With thirty years of maturation, it presents the more mature side of Scotch whisky, while the supplied flavour profile makes clear that peat is not the defining feature here. The focus sits more with fruit, spice and oak.
Its bourbon barrel maturation gives the whisky a clear framework. The profile points to noticeable wood, spice and fruit, supported by a lighter floral touch and a subtle salty edge. At 43% alcohol, the presentation remains composed and traditional in feel.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we place in front of someone who wants to explore aged single malt through nuance rather than sheer intensity: a whisky shaped by long maturation, cask (…)Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Heritage 1l Incl. Box

Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Heritage 1l Incl. Box
Only 3 left in stock!
Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Heritage 1l shows a more assertive side of this American whiskey name. The Single Barrel indication gives the bottle a clear point of difference: the focus is on the character of one individual barrel rather than a broader standard bottling.
At 50% alcohol, it has a noticeably stronger presence than a lighter everyday pour. The one-litre format adds to that sense of substance, making this Heritage release feel like a more deliberate interpretation of Jack Daniel's.
For Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle that speaks to customers who already recognise the brand but want to explore it through a more focused bottling. Single Barrel, Heritage and 50% strength are the key ideas here: familiar American whiskey, presented (…)Break The Mould 2003 20y 9.289 (Glen Grant) (Scotch Malt Whisky Society - Artist Collection) Tube Incl.

Break The Mould 2003 20y 9.289 presents Glen Grant in a very focused way: a Speyside single malt from one individual cask, distilled in 2003 and bottled in 2023 after 20 years of maturation. Released by the Scotch Malt Whisky Society as part of the Artist Collection, it feels less like a standard expression and more like a carefully framed cask selection.
Only 175 bottles were filled, and with the last bottles now indicated, the limited nature of this release becomes an important part of its appeal. What matters here is the singularity of the whisky: one cask, bottled at cask strength at 53.9%, carrying its own particular balance of maturity, fruit, spice and wood influence.

Old Pulteney 1967 34 year old is a Highland single malt defined by time, place and restraint. Distilled in 1967 and bottled in 2002, it carries a 34-year age statement that immediately sets it apart from everyday whisky releases.
Bottled by Douglas Laing as part of the Platinum series, this release comes from a single oak cask and was presented at cask strength, 54.9% ABV. With only 259 bottles produced, and now marked as last bottles, it has the quiet scarcity that serious single cask releases often carry.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottlings like this are valued for their specificity. One vintage, one cask, one limited outturn: it is a whisky for someone who appreciates a clearly defined snapshot of maturation rather than a broad house style.

The *Vintage* Bunnahabhain 1986 30y North Star is the kind of whisky where the facts already carry a strong story. Distilled in November 1986 and bottled in May 2017 after 30 years of maturation, it comes from a single Bourbon Hogshead and was bottled at cask strength by North Star Spirits as part of Cask Series 002.
Its scale is what makes it particularly striking: only 84 bottles were released. At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottlings like this naturally stand apart, because they show whisky not as a standard expression, but as the individual voice of one cask at one specific point in time.
At 52.5% alcohol, it keeps close to its natural strength. The collectors item indication and the fact that these are the last bottles underline how scarce this release has (…)Hellyers Road The Journeyman Tube Incl.

Hellyers Road The Journeyman brings Australian single malt into the glass with a style built around cask influence rather than an age statement. It is a whisky with a clear focus on fruit, spice and wood, shaped by maturation in bourbon and port casks.
There is no peated direction here; the interest lies in the way the cask types support a fuller, more rounded flavour profile. At 46.2% alcohol, it has enough presence to carry that structure without being presented as an overpowering whisky.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see The Journeyman as a fine choice for drinkers who want to explore single malt beyond the more familiar origins, while still looking for a whisky with recognisable depth from fruit, spice and oak. With the last bottles now available, it also (…)Pikesville Rye 6y

Pikesville Rye 6y

Pikesville Rye 6y is an American rye whiskey with a firm, expressive style. Six years of maturation in American Oak and a strength of 55% give it real presence, while keeping the focus on rye character rather than strength alone.
Its appeal lies in the meeting point between rye spice, oak influence and a clear fruity side. The wood gives structure and depth, while the fruit keeps the whiskey from feeling purely dry or austere.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this sits naturally among the more characterful American rye whiskeys: spicy, oak-driven and intense enough to reward slow sipping.
Pikesville Rye 6y is built around spice, oak and fruit. The American Oak influence is clearly present, sitting alongside the rye-driven spiciness and a noticeable (…)Woodford Madeira Finish

Woodford Madeira Finish

Woodford Madeira Finish is built around Woodford Reserve's own view of cask finishing: the cask should highlight what is already present in the whiskey, rather than cover it or push it into an entirely different shape. That makes this release less about a decorative finish and more about drawing extra attention to fruit, spice and wood already woven into the whiskey.
For the 2024 Master's Collection, Master Distiller Elizabeth McCall experimented with finishing bourbon, rye and wheat whiskey in Madeira casks. Those casks, connected to the fortified wine from the Madeira islands off Portugal, are described in the product information through dried fruit, spice and nutty influences. The final composition is further lifted with fruity Kentucky Straight Wheat Whiskey, giving the (…)Woodford Batchproof 121.2

Woodford Batchproof 121.2 shows Woodford in a more forceful, concentrated form. Batch Proof is made from the standard batch of barrels that would normally be adjusted to 90.4 proof before bottling, but this limited edition has been bottled at 121.2 proof, or 60.6% ABV.
That higher strength gives the American Oak influence more room to speak. Oak, spice and fruit all have a clear role here, with sweetness supporting the intensity rather than softening it completely.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bourbon we like to present to customers who already appreciate Woodford and want to taste a bolder interpretation of that style. Limited, powerful and best approached slowly.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, releases like this are valued because they show a more specific side of a distillery. The September 2021 bottling date gives this whisky a clear point in time, making it feel more like a particular cask selection than a standard ongoing expression.
The supplied flavour profile points towards fruit, spice and wood, with a lighter floral accent. With only the last bottles remaining, this Kyrö is best understood as a compact, clearly defined release for drinkers who enjoy exploring cask-driven whisky from (…)Amrut 2015 7y Oloroso

The Carcavelo name points to the finishing story, and the flavour profile supports that direction: fruit, spice and wood are all clearly present, while a lighter floral note adds a softer edge. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would place in front of someone interested in older Irish single malt with a finish that brings extra structure and nuance.

Its maturation is built around two selected wood profiles. Part of the whiskey matured in wood naturally air-dried for 18 months and treated with the house toast and char profile. Another part was matured in special toasted French oak barrels made from Vosges wood air-dried for 24 months.

It is made in Midleton from equal parts malted and unmalted barley, the foundation of its pot still identity. Twelve years in oak casks add structure, spice and wood influence without taking away from the whiskey's fruit-driven side.
At 46%, it carries a little more strength than usual, giving the red fruit and gentle acidity a firmer voice. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see Powers 12y John's Lane as a particularly interesting Irish whiskey for drinkers who want something with more (…)Aberlour 16y Double Cask Tube Incl.

Aberlour 16y Double Cask is a Speyside single malt built around time and cask influence. Sixteen years of maturation give the whisky room to develop, while the combination of sherry and bourbon casks points to a style where fruit, spice and oak take the lead rather than peat or salinity.
The Double Cask name is more than a technical detail here. It frames the whisky's personality: sherry cask richness on one side, bourbon cask wood influence on the other. That makes this Aberlour a good example of a mature Scottish single malt where the interest comes from cask layering and patience, not from smoke-driven power.

Mars Komagatake 40th Anniversary was created to mark the 40th anniversary of the distillery founded in 1985. It is a Japanese single malt built around time itself, bringing together whiskies distilled in the 1980s, 1990s, 2010s and 2020s.
What makes the composition especially telling is the deliberate absence of the 2000s, the period during which the distillery was closed. In that sense, this bottle does more than celebrate a milestone; it reflects four decades of activity, interruption and renewal. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a whisky whose background adds real meaning to the tasting experience.
