Corsair Triple Smoke
On request only
Corsair Triple Smoke is an American whiskey with a name that sets the tone straight away. Smoke is the defining idea here, giving the bottle a clear identity within the American whiskey category.
Maturation in American Oak brings a modest wood influence, with lighter touches of spice and fruit around it. There is no age statement, so the focus falls more on the whiskey's style and flavour direction than on a declared maturation age.
With 600 bottles released and the last bottles now in view, Drankenshop Broekmans sees this as a particularly interesting choice for anyone drawn to a smoky take on American whiskey.
The flavour profile is clearly built around smoke. Around that main line, there are lighter impressions of wood, spice and fruit, (…)Amrut Peated

Amrut Peated
Temporarily sold out
Expected: 01/11/2026Amrut Peated brings Indian single malt whisky into a clearly peated style. At Drankenshop Broekmans, it is the kind of bottle we would point out to someone who wants to explore peat from a different angle, beyond the most familiar whisky origins.
Bottled at 46%, it has matured in oak casks and carries no age statement. The focus is therefore less on a number on the label and more on the way the malt, oak influence and peat character come together in the glass.
The peat is clearly present, supported by light wood, gentle spice and a modest fruity side. That gives the whisky a defined identity without making it feel one-dimensional.
The flavour is led by a clear peat presence, giving the whisky its main direction. Around it, lighter notes of (…)Loch Lomond 2012 10y Tb (Thompson Brothers)

Loch Lomond 2012 10y Tb (Thompson Brothers)
On request only
Loch Lomond 2012 10y Tb is a Highland single malt with a very focused identity. Distilled on 3 September 2012 and bottled on 1 November 2022, it spent 10 years in a refill barrel before being drawn from a single cask. Only 234 bottles were produced, so this is a narrow, individual snapshot rather than a large-scale release.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottlings like this are valued for the way they show a whisky in a more direct form. It is bottled at cask strength, 53.7%, giving the whisky a firm presence and keeping the single-cask character close to the source.
The refill barrel points to a more restrained wood influence, while the flavour profile places peat clearly at the centre. Fruit, spice and oak are present in lighter roles, supporting rather than (…)Nikka White 50cl

Nikka White 50cl

Nikka White 50cl shows a smoky side of Japanese whisky. As a blended malt from Nikka, it leans into a more pronounced peated profile, giving the whisky a firmer identity than its modest bottle size might suggest.
Oak cask maturation adds a light supporting layer, with wood, spice and fruit present without taking over. The main impression remains the smoke, making this a Japanese whisky with a more defined and assertive direction.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we like to point out to customers exploring Japanese whisky beyond the softer styles. With only the last bottles remaining, it has also become a less common find in the selection.

Gouden Carolus Blaasveld Broek is a Belgian single malt whisky with a clearly peated side. At Drankenshop Broekmans, it stands out as a Belgian whisky for drinkers who are drawn to smoke and structure rather than a broadly sweet or heavily fruity style.
Distilled in 2017 and matured in oak cask, it carries no age statement. That shifts the focus to its character in the glass: peat is the main feature, while wood, spice, fruit and floral notes play a lighter supporting role.
Bottled at 46% in a 50 cl format, this Gouden Carolus has a compact but expressive identity. It is a Belgian single malt where smoke and oak shape the experience, with the other elements kept more restrained.

Ballechin is the name used for the heavily peated whisky from Edradour distillery, and this 18 year old single malt shows that style with real maturity behind it. It comes from the Highlands, yet the character is unmistakably shaped by robust peat smoke, sweet fruit and a darker touch of leathery oak.
Bottled at cask strength at 50.9%, it keeps a firm, natural presence in the glass. The bourbon barrel maturation supports the fruit and barley rather than dominating the whisky, leaving room for roasted nuts, wood spice and generous smoke. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would point out to peat drinkers who want weight, age and development rather than just raw impact.

Highland Park Ice 17y

Highland Park Ice 17y is a Scottish single malt from Orkney with a more distinctive place in the Highland Park range. The 17-year age statement, bourbon cask maturation and 53.9% alcohol strength give it a serious presence without needing a long list of embellishments.
Its limited nature is part of the attraction. A total of 30,000 bottles were released, and the whisky is marked as a collector's item. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as the kind of bottle that speaks to drinkers looking for a specific Highland Park release with age, origin and scarcity all playing a role.
The stated flavour profile points to a layered rather than overpowering style. Light wood, spice, fruit and peat are all present, with no single element described as dominant. That (…)Jura The Sound 1l

Jura The Sound 1l is a Scottish single malt from Jura, bottled at 42.5% and finished in Pedro Ximenez casks. Rather than focusing on an age statement, it draws attention to its island origin, its litre format and that particular cask finish.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would point out to customers looking for a Jura with several gentle flavour accents rather than one dominant direction. The supplied profile indicates light fruit, spice, wood and a modest peated note, giving the whisky a measured and varied character.

Tomatin Cù Bòcan Signature is a Highland single malt from Scotland with a lightly smoky direction within the Tomatin range. The emphasis is not on heavy peat, but on a measured style where smoke sits alongside fruit, gentle spice and a touch of wood.
That is what gives this whisky its appeal. It does not rely on one dominant feature; instead, it brings several modest elements together in a clear, approachable way. The peat influence is present, yet it remains part of the whisky's structure rather than the whole identity.
Bottled at 46%, Tomatin Cù Bòcan Signature has enough strength to carry that flavour profile with confidence. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see it as a Highland single malt for drinkers who appreciate a little smoke (…)Kilchoman Small Batch N°3 Incl. Box

Kilchoman Small Batch N°3 is an Islay single malt with a deliberately limited feel. With 1260 bottles released, it sits apart from a broad core-range whisky and focuses on a more specific small batch interpretation of Kilchoman's peated style.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Islay whisky that earns attention because it does not rely on an age statement to tell its story. There is no age indication here; the emphasis is on origin, strength and the clearly smoky direction of the whisky.
The flavour profile places peat at the centre, with lighter support from wood, spice, fruit and a saline touch. Bottled at 49.6%, it has enough strength to carry that Islay character with confidence. Released as part of the Diageo Special Releases 2024, this 12-year-old Lagavulin is bottled at cask strength, at 57.4% ABV. That gives it a direct, full-powered presence and keeps the whisky close to its natural intensity, a fitting approach for a release built around Islay smoke and character.

Highland 2000 22y keeps its exact distillery name undisclosed, which gives the bottle a certain quiet intrigue. What we do know is precise enough to make it interesting: a Highland single malt distilled in 2000, matured for 22 years and bottled by Watt Whisky, the Campbeltown Whisky Company label.
Rather than being part of a large blended batch, this comes from one sherry hogshead and was bottled at cask strength, at 54%. That makes it a snapshot of one individual cask rather than a polished house style. Connemara is an Irish single malt with a very distinctive position. Launched in 1995 and coming from the Cooley distillery, it is described in the supplied information as the first peated Irish whiskey. That immediately sets it apart from the more familiar idea many drinkers have of Irish whiskey.
The defining point here is the malt: 75% of it is peated. Tasted blind, Connemara is said to resemble a Scotch single malt more than a typical Irish style, thanks to its fuller and more distinctive aromas. It remains an Irish whiskey, but one with a smoky direction, a golden colour and maturation in oak casks.

Its maturation is built in two stages.
