Hellyers Road 18y Single Cask Lmdw

In stock

Hellyers Road 18y Single Cask LMDW is an Australian single malt built around a very precise idea: one bourbon barrel, eighteen years of maturation and bottling at cask strength. At 61.4%, this is presented close to the strength of the cask, with the whisky bottled in 2021.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, a release like this stands out for drinkers who enjoy seeing how one individual cask can shape a whisky. It is not a broad vatting or a standard expression; it is a more focused bottling, made even more limited by the fact that only the last bottles remain.

The profile moves away from peat and salinity, placing more emphasis on floral, fruity and spicy tones, while the wood remains present in a supporting role. For anyone exploring Australian single malt, this (…)

Mars Komagatake New

In stock

Mars Komagatake New begins a new chapter for Komagatake as a permanent no-age-statement single malt. Distilled at the foot of Mount Komagatake in Japan, it is presented as an expression of the distillery's own character rather than as a whisky defined by an age statement.

The story here is closely tied to place. Air from the Japanese Alps, meltwater filtered through granite and long-standing blending expertise all support a pure, rich style with clear floral, fruity and gently spiced dimensions.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Japanese single malt we like to introduce when someone is looking for refinement and softness without losing personality. Bottled at 45%, Mars Komagatake New has enough presence, while keeping its focus on roundness, (…)

Miyagikyo Aromatic Yeast 2022

In stock

Miyagikyo Aromatic Yeast 2022 is a Japanese single malt with a name that points straight to its purpose: an aromatic style rather than a whisky driven by heavy wood or peat. The supplied profile places the emphasis on floral, fruity and spicy elements, with oak playing a lighter supporting role.

Distilled in pot stills and bottled at 47%, it has enough strength to carry that aromatic side without turning the whisky into something heavy. With 4,800 bottles released and the last bottles now indicated, this 2022 edition also has a clear limited-release feel.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Miyagikyo we like to present to customers who are curious about the more fragrant side of Japanese single malt. It is a whisky shaped around nuance, where fruit, (…)

Daftmill 2006 15y

In stock

Daftmill 2006 15y is a Scottish single malt with a clear and appealing identity: distilled in 2006, matured for 15 years and bottled at 55.7% ABV. Those details give the whisky its frame without needing to dress it up with unsupported claims.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as the kind of bottle where age, distillation year and strength do much of the talking. The flavour profile points towards a combination of fruity, floral and spiced elements, with wood playing a lighter supporting role rather than dominating the whisky.

The fact that these are the last bottles adds a real sense of scarcity. For anyone looking specifically for a 15-year-old Daftmill from the 2006 distillation, that context matters.

Glen Elgin 2008 14y Art6 (Signatory - Artist Edition)

In stock

Glen Elgin 2008 14y Art6 is a Speyside single malt bottled by Signatory as part of the Artist Edition. Distilled in 2008, matured for 14 years and bottled at 48%, it comes across as a clearly defined release rather than a broad standard expression.

Its maturation in a Sherry Butt gives the whisky an important framework, yet the profile is not simply about wood. The supplied flavour direction points towards a floral, fruity and spiced style, with the wood influence kept in a supporting role. That makes it a thoughtful way to explore Glen Elgin through an independent bottler's lens.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this bottle sits comfortably among limited whisky releases with a particular sense of place and timing. With 1555 bottles produced and the last bottles now (…)

Ben Nevis 2010 10y Artist 11 (Signatory - Artist Edition) Incl. Box

In stock

Ben Nevis 2010 10y Artist 11 is a Highland single malt with the focused character of an individual cask release. Distilled in 2010 and bottled in 2021, it matured for 10 years in a bourbon barrel before being bottled by Signatory in the Artist Edition series.

Only 195 bottles came from this single cask, and it was released at cask strength: 58.1%. That gives the whisky a very particular identity. Rather than presenting a broad house style, it captures one specific barrel of Ben Nevis at one point in its maturation.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we value bottlings like this because they show how much detail a single cask can carry. The supplied flavour profile points toward a whisky with clear fruity, spicy and floral dimensions, supported by a lighter wood (…)

Ardnamurchan 10y White Port PRESALE

Pre-order

Ardnamurchan 10y White Port represents a first for the Highland distillery: this is Ardnamurchan's first release to explore maturation with White Port casks. The whisky was distilled in 2016 from unpeated spirit, matured initially in bourbon casks and then finished in White Port casks.

That makes it a rather distinctive 10-year-old single malt within the Ardnamurchan range. Its personality is not built around peat, but around layers of grain, nuts, candied citrus and a gentle salty edge. Bottled at 52% ABV, non-chill filtered and natural in colour, it keeps a close connection to the spirit and cask influence.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as an interesting release because it shows a new direction for Ardnamurchan rather than simply repeating a (…)

Ichiro's Malt Chichibu 1&2 Incl. Box

Only 3 left in stock!

Ichiro's Malt Chichibu 1&2 is a Japanese blended malt built around a very precise idea: bringing together single malts from two generations of Chichibu. One part comes from the original Chichibu distillery, founded in 2008, while the other comes from Chichibu II, established in 2019. That gives this whisky a clear sense of contrast and continuity at the same time.

The Chichibu component contributes delicacy, precision and a fruit-driven, floral spirit. Its long fermentation and the use of Japanese Mizunara oak washbacks are part of that refined distillate character. Chichibu II adds a broader, more textured side, with French oak fermentation vats from Taransaud and direct gas heating during distillation producing a richer, oilier, more grain-led spirit with subtle (…)

Vintage Scapa 1980 16y Kingsbury's Unicorn Incl. Box

Very last one in stock!

Scapa 1980 16y Kingsbury's Unicorn is a Scottish single malt from Orkney with a strong sense of time and place. Distilled on 2 May 1980 and bottled in June 1996, it captures 16 years of maturation in a single bourbon barrel.

Because it was bottled as a single cask at cask strength, 59.9%, this is not a whisky shaped around consistency from batch to batch. It is the voice of one individual cask, bottled at a specific point in its development. The Kingsbury's Unicorn name only adds to that feeling of a distinctive and scarce release.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, a bottle like this is approached as something for considered appreciation rather than everyday pouring. The vintage 1980 date, the single cask origin, the cask strength bottling and its collectors item (…)

Glen Moray 2006 Chenin

In stock

Glen Moray 2006 Chenin is a Speyside single malt with a distinctive maturation angle: Chenin matured. At 15 years old, it gives Glen Moray a less conventional presentation, built around floral, fruity and spiced elements rather than heavy wood influence.

Distilled on 28 August 2006 and bottled at 46.3%, it sits in a style where the cask influence supports the whisky without overwhelming it. The profile points to fruit, flowers and spice as the main themes, with oak playing a gentler background role.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Scotch single malt we like to highlight when someone is looking beyond the familiar. It remains a Speyside whisky, but the Chenin maturation gives it a more individual voice, without moving into a peated or coastal (…)

Daftmill Summer 2009

Only 2 left in stock!

Daftmill Summer 2009 is a Scotch single malt with the quiet appeal of a clearly defined limited release. Distilled in 2009 and bottled in a run of 1,785 bottles, it has a very specific place rather than feeling like a broad, ongoing expression. With the last bottles now in focus, it naturally stands out at Drankenshop Broekmans among smaller-scale Scotch single malt releases.

Maturation in sherry and bourbon casks gives the whisky its framework, while the supplied profile points away from peat and coastal salinity. The emphasis sits more on floral, fruity and spiced elements, supported by a lighter touch of wood. At 46%, it has enough strength to carry that character without turning the presentation into something overly forceful.

Daftmill Winter Release 2011

Only 3 left in stock!

Daftmill Winter Release 2011 is a single malt with a very direct farm-to-glass story. The Publican barley for this release was grown on a 43-acre field and harvested on 28 and 29 August 2009. It was then dried and stored on the farm before being malted in Alloa in the summer of 2010. That sense of origin is an important part of the whisky's identity.

The whisky for this bottling came from 27 first fill bourbon barrels, filled in December 2011 and matured under the roof of Daftmill's dunnage warehouse until bottling in 2024. Rather than feeling like a broad house style, this release is tied to a specific crop, a defined selection of casks and a long, patient maturation.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a Daftmill for drinkers who enjoy detail: not only (…)

Jameson 18y Incl. Box

| 1 review
In stock

Jameson 18y shows a more mature side of Irish blended whiskey. The 18-year age statement gives it a clear sense of depth, while the 46% strength adds presence without pushing the whiskey into an overly heavy style.

Its character is built around floral notes, fruit and spice, with wood playing a supporting role rather than dominating the experience. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a Jameson for drinkers who want the familiarity of an Irish blend, but with more age, structure and refinement in the glass.

Additional information about the brand can be found at https://www.jamesonwhiskey.com/

The flavour impression centres on floral, fruity and spiced elements. Wood is present in a restrained way, adding support rather than taking over the (…)

Stauning Rye 2017 (Berry Bros Nordic Casks)

Only 2 left in stock!

Stauning Rye 2017 shows a very defined side of Danish rye whisky. Bottled by Berry Bros as part of the Nordic Casks range, it focuses on origin, cask selection and the direct presence that comes with bottling at natural strength.

This is a single cask release, distilled in 2017 and bottled in 2022. Its Moscatel maturation gives the whisky a distinctive cask angle, while the 58.9% ABV keeps the expression firm and unsoftened. Rather than a broad house-style release, it feels like a close look at one particular cask.

Only 254 bottles were filled, and with the last bottles now in circulation, it has a naturally limited character. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we place in front of customers who enjoy rye whisky with a clear sense of origin (…)

The Busker Single Grain

In stock

The Busker Single Grain is an Irish grain whiskey shaped by a Marsala finish, giving this release a distinct angle within The Busker range. There is no age statement here; the focus is placed on style, cask finishing and aromatic character.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we would present this as an Irish whiskey for drinkers looking beyond smoke and peat. The supplied profile points towards a clearly floral, fruity and spicy character, with wood playing a lighter supporting role rather than dominating the whiskey.

Bottled at 44.3%, it sits slightly above many everyday-strength whiskeys, while keeping the emphasis on fragrance, spice and fruit-led expression.

The flavour profile highlights floral, fruity and spicy elements as the main features of The (…)

Teeling Single Cask Ppsvirgin Oak

Only 2 left in stock!

Teeling Single Cask Ppsvirgin Oak is an Irish pure pot still whiskey built around a very focused idea: one cask, bottled at cask strength, with no attempt to soften its individuality into a standard release. It is a whiskey with a clear sense of place in the bottle, shaped by a single virgin oak cask.

The oak is part of the story, but it does not dominate everything. The profile points to fruit, spice and floral notes as key elements, with the wood sitting more as a supporting influence. At 63.3%, this is a powerful bottling, yet the interest lies just as much in the detail of that individual cask as in the strength itself.

Within the selection at Drankenshop Broekmans, this Teeling stands out as a small-batch release in the truest sense: only 258 bottles (…)

Chichibu On The Way 2024 Incl. Box

In stock

Chichibu On The Way 2024 is a Japanese single malt with a strong sense of progression behind it. The On the Way concept was previously used by the distillery to bottle different stages of maturation ahead of Chichibu's first official 10-year-old whisky in 2020. Its return in 2024 makes this release feel like another carefully observed step in the distillery's development, rather than just a standalone expression.

Made from 100% malted barley, this whisky brings together selected components chosen to highlight the richness of the barley. They range from 9 to 15 years old and have matured in bourbon casks, sherry puncheons, mizunara hogsheads, wine casks and chibidaru, Chichibu's quarter cask format. Although there is no age statement on the label, the composition gives the (…)

Compass Box Artist #11 Pentalogy Confidence (Artist Collection)

On request only

Compass Box Artist #11 Pentalogy Confidence is a Scottish blended whisky from the Compass Box Artist Collection. It has the feel of a deliberately framed release rather than an everyday blend, with its name and series giving it a clear identity of its own.

Only 966 bottles were produced, and it is listed as a collector's item. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as the kind of whisky that speaks to people who enjoy limited releases with a distinct place in a broader creative collection, without needing an age statement to define its appeal.

Bottled at cask strength, 55.3% alcohol, it presents itself with real weight. The flavour profile points towards floral, spicy and fruity elements, with wood playing a quieter supporting role rather than taking over the (…)

Glen Ord 2012 11y (The Nectar - Daily Dram)

On request only

Glen Ord 2012 11y is a Highland single malt built around the charm of a single cask: eleven years of maturation, one Bourbon Barrel and a small outturn of 301 bottles. It comes from The Nectar's Daily Dram series, where the focus is on individual casks rather than a broad, standardised expression.

The Bourbon Barrel influence gives this whisky a clean and direct frame. The available notes point towards white fruit, blossom honey, vanilla and gentle spice, with the wood playing a supporting role. It feels like a whisky where the cask has shaped the spirit without overwhelming its fresher side.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would place in front of someone looking for a limited Highland single malt with a clear identity. With the last (…)

Milk & Honey 2018 3y Ww Nectar (Campbeltown Whisky Company)

Milk & Honey 2018 3y Ww Nectar is a small-scale single malt release with a very direct presentation. Distilled in 2018 and bottled in 2022, it carries a 3-year age statement and was bottled at cask strength, at 57.1% ABV. Because it comes from a single cask, the whisky reflects one specific maturation rather than a broader house-style composition.

The cask is described as Shaved Toasted Recharred, a detail that helps frame the whisky's personality. The wood is present, but the supplied profile points more clearly towards fruity, spicy and floral dimensions, with oak playing a supporting role rather than dominating the glass.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this Milk & Honey sits naturally among limited bottlings for drinkers who enjoy exploring individual (…)

Within the Balvenie Stories range, it comes across as a mature and considered release, with the supplied flavour profile pointing towards floral notes, fruit and spice rather than heavy wood influence.

Its bourbon barrel maturation gives the whisky a clear frame, while the oak remains more of a supporting element. That makes the character feel driven by aromatic detail and age, rather than by overt cask weight.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this bottle stands out as one of the more limited Balvenie releases in the selection. With its 19 years of maturation, cask strength presentation, Stories identity and last-bottle status, it is a particularly (…)

Midleton Very Rare Incl. Box

In stock

Midleton Very Rare is an Irish whiskey built around selection rather than volume. Since 1984, Irish Master Distiller Barry Crockett has selected one hundred of the best casks at Midleton, the distillery also linked with Jameson, from stocks aged between 12 and 25 years. That gives this release its sense of patience and restraint: older casks chosen for a very particular purpose.

Oak cask maturation gives the whiskey its frame, but the character is not driven by wood alone. Malt, fruit, spice and a floral lift shape the profile, while the oak remains more of a supporting element than a dominant voice.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see Midleton Very Rare as a meaningful Irish whiskey for drinkers who already appreciate the world of Jameson and Redbreast and want (…)
