Yoichi Aromatic Yeast 2022
In stock
Yoichi Aromatic Yeast 2022 is a Japanese single malt where the name immediately suggests the focus: aroma, detail and a style built around expressive flavour rather than an age statement. The supplied profile points most clearly towards fruit and spice, supported by lighter floral, woody and gently peated touches.
At 48% ABV, it has enough strength to carry that character with confidence. It does not rely on a stated age to explain itself; the interest lies in the specific direction of the release and in the way its aromatic side is presented.
For Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Yoichi bottling that adds depth to a Japanese whisky selection without needing a long technical story. With only the last bottles remaining, it also has that quiet sense of (…)Mars Tsunuki 2020

Mars Tsunuki 2020

Mars Tsunuki 2020 is a Japanese single malt from Mars Maltage with a notably assertive presentation. Bottled at 54%, it has the feel of a whisky made to show strength and definition rather than a soft, easy-going style.
With no age statement taking the lead, the focus falls on the whisky's profile. Fruit and spice sit at the centre, while lighter touches of wood, floral nuance and gentle peat add extra shape without dominating the overall impression.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see Mars Tsunuki 2020 as a Japanese single malt for drinkers looking for something with more power and individuality. The fact that only the last bottles remain gives this release an added sense of scarcity within the selection.

Chichibu Paris 2025 Ginza X Les Champs Elysees connects two city landmarks: Tokyo's Ginza and the Champs-Élysées in Paris. Chichibu has created a Paris Edition every year since 2018, dedicated to the City of Light, and the 2025 release explores the identity of iconic districts in Paris and Tokyo. Its six labels use a colourful pop style inspired by Japanese kawaii culture, with stamp-like edges that suggest travel and correspondence between the two cities.
The whisky itself is built from a deliberately varied selection of casks. The cuvée includes new French oak, Spanish oak that held sherry, French oak that held Bordeaux red wine, an American oak hogshead, bourbon barrels and bourbon barrels that previously held heavily peated whisky. Paul John Christmas Edition 2022

Paul John Christmas Edition 2022 is an Indian single malt whisky with a distinctly seasonal identity. Its name immediately places it in the atmosphere of a festive end-of-year release, while still remaining clearly tied to the Paul John style.
Bottled at 46%, it has enough strength to carry its character well. The flavour profile points towards a whisky where fruit and spice play the main role, supported by lighter touches of wood, floral notes and a gentle hint of peat.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle that stands out through its combination of origin, style and limited availability. With only the last bottles remaining, Paul John Christmas Edition 2022 has become a particularly relevant choice for those looking to explore a specific (…)Adelphi's Private Stock Reserve Peated Batch 2 (Adelphi's Regional Range)

Adelphi's Private Stock Reserve Peated Batch 2 (Adelphi's Regional Range)

Adelphi's Private Stock Reserve Peated Batch 2 is a Scottish blended whisky built from selected malt and grain whiskies drawn from different distilleries across Scotland. Part of the whisky used comes from the islands, giving the blend its smoky, peated edge while still keeping the broader structure of a blended whisky.
The strength of this release lies in Adelphi's small-batch approach. Rather than feeling like a standard blend, it carries the sense of a carefully composed whisky, bottled at 46% and without chill filtration. That keeps the presentation close to the style Adelphi wants to show in this Regional Range bottling.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a good choice for drinkers who enjoy peat smoke but also appreciate the added dimension that (…)Oban Distillers Edition 2022 Tube Incl.

Oban Distillers Edition 2022 is a Highland single malt shaped by a sherry finish. With no age statement, the focus is less on a number and more on the way the whisky's character is framed by that additional sherry cask influence.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would introduce to someone looking for Scotch single malt with a clear fruity and spicy side, while keeping peat in a much softer supporting role. The wood influence is present but restrained, and a light floral note adds a more delicate edge.
Bottled at 43%, it keeps a composed style in which the sherry finish steers the whisky towards a warmer, fruit-and-spice driven expression. Additional information about the brand can be found at https://www.obanwhisky.com/

Compass Box This Is Not A Blend (Compass Box Limited Edition)

Compass Box This Is Not A Blend is a Scottish whisky with a name that immediately invites a second look, yet its real appeal lies in the detail of its aroma and flavour. At Drankenshop Broekmans, it sits comfortably among limited editions that reward a slower, more attentive tasting rather than a quick first impression.
The opening is fresh and subtle, shaped by a saline sea breeze and notes of green barley, liquorice, vanilla, candied lemon and Williams pear. With time in the glass, deeper accents appear: cedar, clove, pepper, balm and acacia honey bring a spiced, slightly medicinal dimension.
On the palate it has weight without becoming heavy. Oily peat supports tropical fruit notes of pineapple and banana, alongside beeswax and acacia honey. From there it (…)Chichibu Paris 2026 Collection Monet Vert

Chichibu Paris 2026 Collection Monet Vert is a Japanese single malt where the presentation is part of the story. The green edition in the Monet Collection is inspired by Monet and his special connection with Japan, bringing together the painter's artistic world and Chichibu's whisky craftsmanship.
The whisky uses the same assemblage as the Chichibu Paris Edition 2026, built from Bourbon Casks, Oloroso Sherry Hogsheads and Virgin American White Oak. Its components range from 6 to 12 years old, giving the whisky a layered profile in which fruit, spice and gentle oak each have their place.

Campbeltown Loch 2026
| 1 review
In stockCampbeltown Loch 2026 is a blended malt with a strong sense of place. It is made exclusively from single malts and brings together whisky from the active Campbeltown distilleries: Springbank, Glen Scotia and Glengyle. In that sense, it feels less like a standard blend and more like a compact introduction to Campbeltown in one bottle.
The town of Campbeltown, on the Kintyre peninsula, has a rich whisky history and today produces five different single malts: Hazelburn, Longrow and Springbank at Springbank, Glen Scotia at Glen Scotia, and Kilkerran at Glengyle. Campbeltown Loch includes malt from each of these five names, giving it a genuine regional identity.
Maturation in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks gives the whisky its generous, layered style. (…)Saint James's 10y Blend (Berry Bros Classic Range)

Expected: 27/10/2026Saint James's 10y Blend is a Scotch whisky from the Berry Bros Classic Range, built around maturity, generosity and a quietly intriguing sense of depth. It is positioned in an approachable way, yet the whisky itself gives more richness and complexity than that might suggest.
Matured for at least 10 years in bourbon cask, it leans into a generous, gourmand style with orchard fruit, caramel, vanilla, chocolate and a fresh citrus lift. The exact make-up of the blend is deliberately kept confidential, and that discretion suits Saint James's well: it gives the whisky a little mystery without distracting from what is in the glass.

In this case, Montmartre meets Asakusa.
The visual side is part of the charm. The edition features six pop, colourful labels inspired by Japanese kawaii culture, with serrated edges that recall postage stamps. Chichibu Paris 2022 is a Japanese single malt with a very clear sense of place within the Chichibu range: a limited release, bottled at 51.5%, matured in a Bourbon Barrel and presented without an age statement.
Only 1,900 bottles were released, and this is marked as a collector's item, with the last bottles now available. Distilled in 1999 and bottled in 2018 after 19 years of maturation, it was released by independent bottler The Nectar as part of The Nectar of the Daily Drams series.
Drawn from a single hogshead and bottled at cask strength, 51%, this is not a whisky shaped for broad uniformity. It is a specific snapshot of Deanston from one individual cask, with only 223 bottles produced. That gives the release a more personal feel than a standard expression, especially for drinkers who enjoy comparing how a distillery can show itself through independent bottlings.

Expected: 01/11/2026Amrut Bagheera is an Indian single malt with a name that immediately sets a mood: Bagheera means black panther in Hindi. It is a fitting image for a whisky that combines fruit, sherry influence and a measured smoky edge with a certain dark elegance.
Its character starts with an unusual detail in the malt composition: 99% unpeated malt and just 1% peated malt. That small peated element still makes itself known in the glass, adding smoke and tension without taking over the fruitier, sweeter side of the whisky.
The sherry finish brings extra depth, drawing out dried fruit, caramel and nutty notes. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we appreciate Bagheera for that interplay: it is not a whisky built around heavy peat, but one where a touch of smoke gives shape and (…)Chichibu 2018 7y #10902 Refill Peated Bourbon Barrel Incl. Its character is built around peat, but not in a flat or one-dimensional way. The description points to smoke, empyreumatic notes, medicinal accents and mineral tones, with malt and fruit bringing freshness and lift through the whisky.
