Glenglassaugh 15y Incl. Box

Glenglassaugh 15 Year Old sits at a meaningful point in the distillery's modern story. Founded in 1875 on the Moray Firth coast, Glenglassaugh remained silent for more than two decades before being revived in 2008. This 15-year-old release shows a more mature and layered side of that renewed identity.
Maturation in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks and Spanish wine casks gives the whisky its darker, generous tones of chocolate, caramel and dried fruit. What keeps it especially interesting is the coastal thread running underneath: a discreet iodine note and gentle saltiness that bring definition to the richness. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of single malt we enjoy presenting to customers who want depth and cask influence without peat smoke.

Mars Maltage Cosmo Incl. Box

Mars Maltage Cosmo is a Japanese blended malt whisky with a fruit-led personality. It does not build its identity around peat smoke or heavy intensity; instead, it presents malt whisky in a cleaner, more open style where fruit has the central role.
Bottled at 43% and released without an age statement, Cosmo is shaped more by its overall style than by a declared maturation age. Light floral, woody, spicy and salty touches add definition around the fruit, while peat stays out of the picture.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this sits well among Japanese whiskies for drinkers looking to explore a blended malt with a clear fruity direction and a gentle, unpeated profile.

Bowmore 30y 2021 is a Scottish single malt from Islay where age and restraint do much of the talking. Thirty years of maturation gives this whisky a more contemplative presence, built around development over time rather than immediate impact.
The bourbon and sherry cask influence gives the whisky a broad foundation, with fruit and spice standing out most clearly in the supplied flavour profile. Around that core sit lighter touches of wood, floral nuance, salinity and peat, so the Islay identity is there, but expressed with measured detail rather than heavy smoke.
Within the selection at Drankenshop Broekmans, this Bowmore 30 Year Old 2021 stands out as a scarce mature release. With 2976 bottles produced and the final bottles now indicated, it has the feel of (…)Bruichladdich Laddie Classic Sherry

Bruichladdich Laddie Classic Sherry is a Scottish single malt from Islay with a clear sherry-finished direction. Its profile is led by spice, supported by lighter notes of fruit, flower, wood and a subtle salty edge, while peat smoke is not part of the stated flavour profile.
At 50% alcohol, it has a firm presence without relying on an age statement. The emphasis sits on style and cask influence: a Bruichladdich shaped by sherry finishing, where spice gives the whisky its main voice and the supporting elements keep it from feeling one-dimensional.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as an interesting Islay single malt for drinkers who want strength and sherry influence, but not a peat-driven whisky.

Bruichladdich 30y is an Islay single malt where time is the central element. With thirty years of maturation, it presents the more mature side of Scotch whisky, while the supplied flavour profile makes clear that peat is not the defining feature here. The focus sits more with fruit, spice and oak.
Its bourbon barrel maturation gives the whisky a clear framework. The profile points to noticeable wood, spice and fruit, supported by a lighter floral touch and a subtle salty edge. At 43% alcohol, the presentation remains composed and traditional in feel.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we place in front of someone who wants to explore aged single malt through nuance rather than sheer intensity: a whisky shaped by long maturation, cask (…)Ardmore 2010 10y Sv Nectar (Signatory - Cask Collection) Tube Incl.

Ardmore 2010 10y Sv Nectar (Signatory - Cask Collection) Tube Incl.

Ardmore 2010 10y SV Nectar is a Highland single malt built around the individuality of one cask. Distilled on 6 May 2010 and bottled on 14 September 2020, it spent 10 years in a bourbon barrel before being released by Signatory as part of the Cask Collection. Rather than presenting a broad house style, this bottle captures one specific cask at one specific point in time.
Only 217 bottles were produced, and with the last bottles now in circulation, its limited nature is very clear. At Drankenshop Broekmans, releases like this are especially interesting because they show how direct and characterful an independent single cask whisky can be when bottled at cask strength.
At 59.2%, this Ardmore has real presence. The profile leans clearly towards fruit and spice, (…)Clynelish 1995 24y (Wemyss Single Cask)

Clynelish 1995 24y (Wemyss Single Cask)

Clynelish 1995 24y is a Highland single malt with the quiet appeal of a well-aged independent bottling. Wemyss selected it for the Wemyss Single Cask range, and the whisky comes from a single hogshead, giving a focused view of one individual cask after 24 years of maturation.
Distilled in 1995 and bottled in April 2020, it carries a sense of patience rather than excess. The profile points towards fruit and spice as the main features, with gentle wood influence and a light salty edge in support. It is bottled at 46%, giving it presence while keeping the emphasis on the whisky itself.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this release stands out because it brings together several details that matter in a specialist whisky selection: Clynelish, Highland origin, a 24-year (…)Bowmore 2003 17y (The Single Malts Of Scotland)

Bowmore 2003 17y is an Islay single malt with a very clearly defined origin: distilled on 12 December 2003, bottled on 29 July 2021, and drawn from a single bourbon barrel. Rather than presenting a broad house-style blend, it captures one individual cask at one particular point in its maturation.
At 17 years old and bottled at cask strength, 54.9%, it keeps close to the character of that barrel. Only 209 bottles were released, and with the last bottles now in view, its small-scale nature becomes part of the appeal. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of whisky we would point out to someone who enjoys single malts with a transparent story: one distillation, one cask, one limited bottling.

Speyside 2008 16y sits in Cadenhead's Enigma Series, a range built around whiskies that refuse to be neatly categorised. The distillery name remains undisclosed, and in this case that mystery feels like part of the appeal: the focus is entirely on the whisky in the glass.
This 16-year-old Speyside single malt was finished in a cask that previously held Pineau de Charente. That finishing detail gives the whisky an unusual direction, supporting its strongly fruity profile while leaving room for spice and some striking savoury touches. Bottled at 51.9%, it has enough weight to carry its more distinctive notes, from menthol and rye bread to dark berries and Black Forest cake.

Compass Box This Is A 10y Old is a Scottish blended malt with a clear idea behind it. With this 10-year-old whisky, Compass Box marks ten years of commitment to transparency in the whisky world. That sits very naturally with the way we like to discuss whisky at Drankenshop Broekmans: with attention to what is actually in the glass and how it came to be.
The recipe brings together Clynelish, bought immediately after distillation and then matured in casks selected by Compass Box, with two malts from Ardnamurchan. That gives this limited Compass Box release more than just an age statement; it tells a story of selection, origin and maturation.
Bottled at 50.5%, without chill filtration and without added colouring, it stays close to its natural form. The release (…)Dufftown 2010 15y Awwif (Alistair Walker - Infrequent Flyers) Tube Incl.

Dufftown 2010 15y Awwif shows a generous, deeply flavoured side of Speyside single malt. Distilled at Dufftown in 2010 and bottled by Alistair Walker for the Infrequent Flyers series, it is built around the individuality of a single cask rather than a broad house style.
The defining element here is the five-year finish in a Pedro Ximénez puncheon. That finish gives the whisky its dark, lavish and patisserie-like feel, with a full texture and an aromatic intensity that suits its 55.7% cask strength presentation. It is a bottling with plenty of presence, yet its appeal lies just as much in the richness of detail.

Expected: 06/11/2026Glenglassaugh 12y is a notable release for the distillery, as it is its first age-stated expression. After twelve years of maturation, this Scottish single malt gives a clear impression of the Glenglassaugh style: ripe fruit, a distinct maritime accent and an unpeated character.
The whisky matured in a combination of bourbon casks, sherry casks and casks that previously held red wine. That mix adds layers, while the fruit-driven side remains at the centre. Its bright golden colour suits a malt where gentle wood, light spice, generous fruit and a sea-breeze freshness come together naturally.
