Chichibu 2014 11y Elixir Trail (Elixir Distillers - Whisky Trail)
On request only
Chichibu 2014 11y Elixir Trail is a Japanese single malt with a very defined identity: one single cask, bottled at cask strength, with only 240 bottles released. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of whisky we like to present as a specific cask story rather than a standard expression, because its interest lies in the detail of that individual maturation.
Distilled in 2014 and bottled in 2025 by Elixir Distillers for the Whisky Trail series, it was finished in an ex-IPA cask. That beer cask influence gives the whisky a hoppy, slightly daring edge, while the Chichibu character is described through Japanese precision and craft. The result is a release where floral notes, spice and a gentle malt bitterness all have a role to play.
At 54.5%, it carries the (…)Bruichladdich Laddie Classic Sherry

Bruichladdich Laddie Classic Sherry
Temporarily sold out
Bruichladdich Laddie Classic Sherry is a Scottish single malt from Islay with a clear sherry-finished direction. Its profile is led by spice, supported by lighter notes of fruit, flower, wood and a subtle salty edge, while peat smoke is not part of the stated flavour profile.
At 50% alcohol, it has a firm presence without relying on an age statement. The emphasis sits on style and cask influence: a Bruichladdich shaped by sherry finishing, where spice gives the whisky its main voice and the supporting elements keep it from feeling one-dimensional.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as an interesting Islay single malt for drinkers who want strength and sherry influence, but not a peat-driven whisky.
The flavour profile is driven mainly by (…)Bruichladdich Bere Barley 2012

Bruichladdich Bere Barley 2012

Bruichladdich Bere Barley 2012 is an Islay single malt with a character that moves away from peat smoke. The emphasis is more floral and spiced, with a lighter fruit note in support and only a modest wood influence. It gives the whisky a distinctly Islay origin, but without leaning on the island's smoky side.
Distilled in 2012 and aged for 10 years, this Bruichladdich is bottled at 50%, giving it a firm presence while keeping the focus on its clear, aromatic style. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a rewarding choice for customers looking for an Islay malt with definition, spice and floral lift rather than peat-driven intensity.
With the last bottles now available, this release also has the feel of a specific moment in Bruichladdich's range: a named (…)Aberfeldy 2014 11y (Signatory - Cask Collection)

Aberfeldy 2014 11y (Signatory - Cask Collection)
On request only
Aberfeldy 2014 11 Year Old is a Highland single malt with a notably direct presentation. Bottled by Signatory as part of the Cask Collection, it comes at cask strength with an ABV of 60%, giving the whisky a firm, unsoftened presence.
The Oloroso Sherry cask is central to its identity. With 11 years of maturation behind it, the style leans clearly towards wood, spice and floral notes, while fruit and a light salty accent sit more quietly in the background. Peat is not part of the profile, so the focus stays on cask influence, structure and spicy depth.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we place in front of customers who enjoy single malts with a more forthright style, especially when cask strength and sherry cask maturation are part of the (…)Sagamore Spirit Cask Strength

Sagamore Spirit Cask Strength

Sagamore Spirit Cask Strength is an American rye whiskey bottled at cask strength, coming in at 56.1%. It has the directness you expect from a full-strength rye, yet the real interest lies in how carefully the whiskey has been assembled.
The blend brings together pure high-rye and low-rye straight whiskeys aged between 4 and 7 years. The older whiskey contributes deeper chocolate, hazelnut and molasses notes, while the younger part adds bright citrus and balanced spice. It is a cask strength rye built around blending skill rather than sheer force alone.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we like to present to customers who want to explore rye with depth and structure. American oak gives a measured wood influence, while the spicy and aromatic (…)Ryelaw Vintage 2018 Tube Incl.

Ryelaw Vintage 2018 is a rather distinctive take on Scotch whisky. It is a Fife Single Grain Scotch Whisky from the Lowlands, made at Inchdairnie Distillery with rye at the heart of the recipe: 53% malted rye and 47% malted barley. The rye comes from a single field, giving this second RyeLaw vintage a particularly focused starting point.
Inchdairnie began distilling in 2016 and, alongside its future single malt, has been working on several whisky projects. RyeLaw is one of the most characterful of those projects: Scottish in origin, yet clearly shaped by rye. It is distilled in a Lomond Hill still and matured in new charred oak casks from the Appalachian Mountains.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this bottle stands out for the way it brings together Lowland origin, (…)Dufftown 2010 15y Awwif (Alistair Walker - Infrequent Flyers) Tube Incl.

Dufftown 2010 15y Awwif shows a generous, deeply flavoured side of Speyside single malt. Distilled at Dufftown in 2010 and bottled by Alistair Walker for the Infrequent Flyers series, it is built around the individuality of a single cask rather than a broad house style.
The defining element here is the five-year finish in a Pedro Ximénez puncheon. That finish gives the whisky its dark, lavish and patisserie-like feel, with a full texture and an aromatic intensity that suits its 55.7% cask strength presentation. It is a bottling with plenty of presence, yet its appeal lies just as much in the richness of detail.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, releases like this are valued because they show a very specific snapshot of maturation. In this case, Dufftown is (…)Holyrood Noir Burgundy

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a compelling choice for drinkers looking for a single malt with wine-cask influence that stays poised and expressive. Its 47.4% strength gives the whisky enough presence to carry those red-fruit and floral notes with clarity.

Benriach Malting Season is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky distilled in 2012 and released without an age statement. With 6,672 bottles produced, it feels like a clearly defined Benriach bottling rather than a broad, ongoing expression.
At 48.7% ABV, it has a little extra presence in the glass. The supplied flavour profile points towards a floral and spiced style, with wood and fruit playing a supporting role. There is no peated or salty emphasis indicated, so the focus remains on a cleaner Speyside malt character shaped by those aromatic and spicy elements.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this kind of release as a good way to explore a distillery from a specific angle. Malting Season brings together the Benriach name, Speyside origin, a 2012 (…)Scapegrace Rise

Scapegrace Rise brings New Zealand into the conversation for single malt whisky, and that alone gives it a distinctive place on the shelf. The maturation in Virgin French Oak adds further direction, shaping a style built around floral notes and spice rather than peat smoke or coastal salinity.
At 46% alcohol, it has enough presence to feel serious without making strength the main point. With 4,548 bottles produced and the last bottles now available, there is also a sense of limited availability around this release. Glenlossie 2009 16y is a Speyside single malt bottled by Alistair Walker as part of the Infrequent Flyers series. The series is built around carefully selected casks and bold maturation choices, and in this case the focus is squarely on Pedro Ximénez cask finishing.
Distilled on 29 January 2009 and bottled on 1 March 2025, this whisky spent 16 years maturing. The PX finish lasted 1 year and 5 months: intense enough to bring deep, dessert-like richness, yet handled in a way that does not cover the underlying malt character.
