Bruichladdich 2004 18y (The Whisky Agency)
In stock
Bruichladdich 2004 18y is built around a very specific idea: one Islay single malt, from one individual cask. Distilled in 2004 and bottled in 2022, it spent 18 years maturing in a Bourbon Barrel before being released as a single cask bottling.
That single cask identity matters. Rather than presenting a wider batch style, this bottle captures the character of one particular barrel at one particular point in its maturation. Bottling at cask strength, 51.3%, keeps the presentation close to the source.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Bruichladdich we look at as a more focused and limited release within the Islay single malt selection. With only the last bottles remaining, its availability is clearly narrowing.

Clynelish 1989 31y Barc (Blackadder Statement)
Very last one in stock!
Clynelish 1989 31y Barc is a Highland single malt with a very clear sense of origin. Distilled on 26 September 1989 and bottled on 1 July 2021 by Blackadder as part of the Blackadder Statement series, it spent 31 years in a Bourbon Barrel before being released.
What makes this bottling stand out is the precision of its provenance. It is a single cask whisky, bottled at cask strength at 46.8%, with only 194 bottles drawn from that cask. Rather than presenting a broad house style, it captures one individual barrel after long maturation.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, releases like this are selected for customers who value age, independent bottling and a clearly defined cask origin. With only the last bottles remaining, this Clynelish is especially notable for its (…)*Vintage* Bunnahabhain Auld Acquaintance 1968 Hogmany Edition

*Vintage* Bunnahabhain Auld Acquaintance 1968 Hogmany Edition
On request only
Vintage Bunnahabhain Auld Acquaintance 1968 Hogmany Edition is the kind of Islay single malt where the date matters. Distilled on 31 December 1968, it carries the feel of a specific vintage rather than a regular whisky release.
Its sherry maturation and cask strength bottling at 43.8% give the whisky a serious, traditional single malt identity. The emphasis here is not on volume or broad availability, but on origin, timing and the particular nature of the release.
Only 2002 bottles were produced, and with its collector's item status and last bottles indication, this Bunnahabhain has become a scarce presence. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see it as a bottle for people who are drawn to vintage-dated Scotch, limited Islay releases and whiskies with a very clear (…)Glenglassaugh The Serpentine 48y

Glenglassaugh The Serpentine 48y
Temporarily sold out
Glenglassaugh The Serpentine 48y is not a whisky to rush. It comes from cask 1863, an Aleatico red wine cask, and was bottled at 46.1% after 48 years of ageing. That combination of significant age and a very specific wine cask gives this Speyside single malt a clear identity of its own.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we introduce as a rare and considered release rather than a whisky for everyday pouring. With only the last bottles remaining, its scarcity is part of the story, but the real interest lies in the mature fruit-driven character described in the tasting notes.
The Serpentine shows Glenglassaugh in a ripe, layered style, with dark berries, exotic fruit and a fine saline touch. It is a whisky for slow tasting, where the details (…)Deanston 2012 13y Awwif (Alistair Walker - Infrequent Flyers) Tube Incl.

Deanston 2012 13y Awwif (Alistair Walker - Infrequent Flyers) Tube Incl.

Deanston 2012 13y Awwif shows a dark, generous side of Highland single malt. Bottled by Alistair Walker for the Infrequent Flyers series, it comes from a single cask and is presented at cask strength, with an ABV of 57.9%.
The defining element here is the five-year finish in a Pedro Ximenez puncheon. That extended finish gives the whisky its deep fruit richness, velvety texture and warming spice. Rather than feeling light or delicate, it sits firmly in a full, concentrated style with a strong PX influence.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would point out to someone looking for a Highland malt with real weight, dark fruit and a carefully handled sweet-spiced edge. With only the last bottles remaining, it also has the appeal of a release (…)Bunnahabhain Eich Bhana Lir 46y

Bunnahabhain Eich Bhana Lir 46y
Very last one in stock!
Bunnahabhain Eich Bhana Lir 46y is a Scottish Islay whisky where the age statement says a great deal on its own. Forty-six years of maturation places it far away from everyday whisky and gives the bottle a quiet sense of patience and rarity.
Only 198 bottles were released. Together with its collector's item status and the indication that these are the last bottles, it naturally stands out in the Drankenshop Broekmans selection as a scarce Bunnahabhain release rather than a regular shelf whisky.
Bottled at 41.8% alcohol, it remains closely tied to the character of a long-aged whisky. Since no tasting notes are supplied in the available data, the story here rests on its Islay origin, remarkable age and very limited release.

Auchroisk 2010 14y (Cadenhead - Original Collection)
On request only
Auchroisk 2010 14y is a Speyside single malt with the thoughtful touch of Cadenhead behind it. Auchroisk was founded in 1974, making it a relatively young Scottish distillery, and was originally established to provide whisky for blends. In its single malt form, it is valued here for malt sweetness, floral notes and gentle spice. The Gaelic name means the red ford.
Cadenhead's Original Collection is built around careful cask selection. The whiskies are brought together at 50% ABV, allowed to rest so the flavours can integrate, and then bottled at 46%. This 14-year-old Auchroisk, distilled in 2010, has had an ex-Manzanilla cask finish since 2023, adding an extra accent to its fruit-driven and floral Speyside style, with a subtle salty edge in the background.

Bushmills 1992 28y Cognac is an Irish single malt whiskey centred on long maturation and cognac cask influence. Distilled on 9 April 1992 and bottled on 10 April 2020, it captures a very specific chapter from a single cask after 28 years of ageing.
Only 500 bottles were released, bottled at cask strength at 46.7%. At Drankenshop Broekmans, releases like this stand out because they combine age, single cask individuality and increasing scarcity, especially now that this is listed among the last bottles and recognised as a collector's item.
Its flavour profile points towards a fruit-led whiskey, with clear floral and spicy accents alongside a lighter touch of wood. The cognac maturation gives the release its defining frame, while the single cask nature keeps the (…)*Vintage* Ardmore 1988 32y (Dutch Whisky Connection - They Inspired)

Vintage Ardmore 1988 32y is a Highland single malt built around maturity, scarcity and the individuality of one cask. Distilled in April 1988 and bottled in January 2021, it spent 32 years maturing before being bottled by Dutch Whisky Connection for the They Inspired series.
This release comes from a single Bourbon Barrel and was bottled at cask strength. Only 192 bottles were drawn from that cask, and with the last bottles now indicated, it feels less like a broad distillery expression and more like a precise snapshot of one long maturation.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottlings like this are valued for exactly that sense of specificity. The supplied flavour profile points to fruit as the dominant theme, supported by clear wood and spice, with lighter floral (…)
