Kurayoshi 18y
On request only
Kurayoshi 18y is a Japanese blended malt whisky with maturity at the centre of its identity. The 18-year age statement gives it a more developed feel, while the 50% alcohol strength adds presence without making strength the only point of interest.
The main thread here is spice. Oak plays a supporting role, with a light fruity touch adding some lift, while peat, salt and floral notes are not part of the core profile. It is a whisky shaped more by dry spice and restrained wood influence than by smoke or sweetness.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see Kurayoshi 18y as a fitting choice within the Japanese whisky selection for customers looking for an aged blended malt with structure, spice and a slightly more assertive bottling strength.

Glendronach 10y Forgue 1l is a Scottish Highland single malt with sherry maturation at its core. The Forgue name gives this 10-year-old Glendronach its own identity, while the one-litre bottle makes it a generous choice for those who enjoy having a bottle open for relaxed serving over time.
What stands out here is the way the sherry-led style is supported by clear spice, a lighter fruit note and a gentle touch of wood. Bottled at 43%, it keeps an approachable strength while still staying firmly within the character of a Highland single malt.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this Glendronach as a fitting choice within the range of sherry-matured Scotch whiskies for drinkers who prefer warmth and spice over peat or salty coastal notes. It is a whisky built (…)Glenfarclas 30y Incl. Box

Glenfarclas 30y is a Speyside single malt shaped by long maturation and Oloroso sherry cask influence. Thirty years of ageing gives it a mature, composed identity, while the sherry cask direction places the whisky in a spiced style rather than a smoky one.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would introduce to someone looking for a serious aged single malt with a clear sense of patience behind it. The 43% strength keeps the presentation measured, allowing the whisky's age and cask influence to remain the main conversation.
The supplied flavour profile points most clearly towards spice, supported by lighter fruit and a restrained touch of wood. That balance matters: the long ageing is present, but the whisky is not described as being (…)Jura Tastival 2016 Incl. Box

Jura Tastival 2016 comes from a very specific moment in the Jura calendar: the island's annual Tastival, held in the same week as the Islay festival for music and whisky. It is a single malt with a clear sense of occasion, tied to the atmosphere of an island whisky celebration rather than a regular core-range release.
The sherry influence is the part that gives this bottling its direction. It was finished in Palomino Fino, Amoroso Oloroso and Apostoles Oloroso sherry casks, bringing a sherry-led style where spice takes a prominent role and fruit adds support without taking over.
At 51% and bottled at cask strength, it has real presence. With 8000 bottles released, this is a defined edition, and at Drankenshop Broekmans we see these last bottles as a chance to (…)Tullibardine 25y

Tullibardine 25y is a Scottish Highland single malt where the age statement is central to its appeal. Matured for 25 years in oak casks and bottled at 43%, it sits away from heavily peated or smoky territory, focusing instead on a more measured Highland style.
The supplied flavour profile points to spice as the clearest feature, supported by gentle wood influence and a light fruity note. Rather than presenting itself as a forceful whisky, this Tullibardine is built around maturity, oak ageing and a restrained flavour structure.

Black Snake Oloroso Vat2 is a Scottish single malt that is defined less by an age statement and more by cask choice, strength and limited availability. Bottled by Blackadder as part of the Black Snake range, it comes at a full 60.5% cask strength, with a sherry finish shaping its direction.
The appeal here lies in its small-scale nature. Only 466 bottles were produced, and the whisky comes from a single cask, giving it the feel of a specific cask-driven release rather than a broad, repeated expression. The Oloroso Vat2 name points clearly toward a sherry-led style, without needing an age statement to explain its identity.

C.Gars Malt Orchant Selection 20cl is a Scottish single malt bottled by Stalla Dhu as part of the Stalla Dhu Regional Malts range. It is presented without an age statement, so the focus falls less on numbers and more on the selection itself, the bottler behind it and the influence of the cask.
The Sherry Butt detail is the key to understanding its direction. Rather than a peated or coastal style, the flavour profile points towards spice first, with lighter fruit and wood notes playing a supporting role. That gives this small-format release a clear identity without overcomplicating the story.
