Caroni 1996 25y Employees United (Caroni Employees)

In stock

Caroni 1996 25y Employees United is a Trinidad molasses rum with a very direct sense of purpose. Distilled in 1996, aged for 25 years and bottled at cask strength at 66.6%, it is presented in a powerful, uncompromising form rather than softened into an easy-going style.

Its maturation in a bourbon barrel gives the rum a clear framework, while the traditional column distillation underlines its structured nature. The supplied flavour profile points mainly towards wood, spice and a pronounced vegetal side, with fruit playing a smaller supporting role.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, a bottle like this stands out because the details tell a focused story: 754 bottles, collector status and now down to the last bottles. It is a release where age, strength and scarcity are (…)

Caroni 23y 1994 Guyana (Velier)

In stock

Caroni 23y 1994 Guyana is the kind of rum that asks for attention before it is even poured. A 1994 distillation, 23 years of age and bottling at 57.18% cask strength place it firmly in a more serious, concentrated style of molasses rum.

It was distilled using pot still and column still methods, then matured in a bourbon barrel. The supplied profile points towards a rum where wood, spice and vegetal tones carry much of the expression, with fruit and floral notes playing a lighter role. It is not presented as a soft, sweet style, but as a mature rum with structure and force.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this Caroni is treated as a noteworthy bottle because several meaningful elements come together: age, vintage, cask strength and the fact that only the last (…)

Mezan Diamond Guyana 2003 (Mezan Vintages)

In stock

Mezan Diamond Guyana 2003 is a molasses-based rum from Guyana, bottled as part of the Mezan Vintages range. The name already gives it a clear identity: Diamond, Guyana and the 2003 distillation year place this release in a more precise, origin-led style of rum.

The production details add to that sense of definition. It combines pot still and column distillation, so the rum is not built around one single distilling approach. Maturation in bourbon barrels supports the more woody and spiced side of the profile, while the data points to only a lighter fruity and vegetal presence rather than an overtly sweet expression.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottlings like this have a natural appeal for customers who enjoy vintage rum with a clear origin and a more mature, (…)

Mmw Wedderburn Blend 11y Tropical Aging (Velier And Scheer)

In stock

Mmw Wedderburn Blend 11y Tropical Aging is a Jamaican molasses rum, pot still distilled and bottled by Velier as part of Velier and Scheer. The name already sets the direction: an 11-year-old Wedderburn Blend shaped by tropical aging and presented in a very direct form.

Matured in a bourbon cask and bottled at cask strength, it carries a substantial 69.1% alcohol. This is a rum for tasting with attention, where the strength is part of the experience rather than something hidden in the background.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottles like this stand out because several serious rum cues come together in one release: Jamaica, pot still distillation, tropical maturation, high natural strength and the Velier name. With only the last bottles remaining, it also has (…)

Jamaica Hampden 20y (Cadenhead - Original Collection)

On request only

Jamaica Hampden 20y is a molasses-based Jamaican rum bottled by Cadenhead's as part of the Original Collection. The appeal lies in its direct, focused presentation: twenty years old, drawn from a single cask and bottled at cask strength at 50.9%.

Made in a pot still style and matured in a bourbon barrel, it is less about broad blending and more about one individual cask captured at a specific moment. The May 2021 bottling date gives this release a clear place in time within Cadenhead's independent bottlings.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of rum we value for its clarity of origin and bottling approach. With only the last bottles remaining, it also carries the natural scarcity of a limited single cask release.

Bonpland Caroni 21y 50cl

Bonpland Caroni 21y 50cl is a Trinidad rum with a very defined identity. It is a molasses-based rum, aged for 21 years and drawn from a single cask, so the focus is not on a broad house style but on one particular cask and its own development over time.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottles like this are appreciated because they bring a more specific story to the rum shelf. The traditional column style, the long maturation and the wine finish all point towards a rum with structure rather than easy sweetness, with wood, spice and vegetal tones taking a more prominent role.

Bottled at 50%, it has the strength to carry that profile with confidence. The single cask nature and the indication that these are the last bottles add to the sense of a limited release: a rum (…)

Caroni Paradise 1996 #4 (Velier) Incl. Box

Very last one in stock!

Caroni Paradise 1996 #4 is a Trinidad rum where the main story is time, strength and scarcity. Bottled by Velier, it was distilled from molasses in 1996 and bottled in 2023 after 27 years of ageing. Rather than coming from a broad batch, it was drawn from a single bourbon barrel, giving this release a very specific cask identity.

Only 215 bottles were produced, and it was bottled at cask strength at 68.1% ABV. That makes it a rum with real presence, aimed at drinkers who appreciate the individuality of a single cask and the directness of a high-strength bottling. At Drankenshop Broekmans, releases like this stand out because they bring together provenance, age and limited availability in a very tangible way.

Mezan Caroni 1996 19y is a Trinidad rum built around a very clear sense of origin and time. The key details are right there in the name: distilled in 1996, aged for 19 years, and bottled by Mezan. That gives the bottle a much more specific identity than a rum defined only by style or category.

Its maturation in bourbon cask provides the main production reference, although the supplied information does not include detailed tasting notes. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we would present this as a rum for customers who appreciate age, provenance and independent bottling context rather than a broad, generic rum profile.

Jamaica 2013 from 1423 Rum World Class is a molasses-based Jamaican rum with a clearly defined personality. Distilled in 2013 in pot still style and aged for 8 years in a bourbon barrel, it keeps the cask influence in a supporting role rather than letting the wood dominate the rum.

The interest here lies in the combination of origin, production style and limited availability. Only 859 bottles were released, and these are now among the last bottles available. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of rum we like to present to customers who want something with a more distinctive Jamaican identity and less emphasis on sweetness.

Hampden Pagos 2024 Incl. Box

Only 2 left in stock!

Hampden Pagos 2024 is a Jamaican rum built around a very specific meeting point: Hampden Estate's expressive pot still spirit and sherry casks from Jerez. The name takes its inspiration from the Spanish word pagos, used for vineyard parcels in Jerez, and that reference is carried straight into the maturation. The rum was fully aged in Jamaica in 500-litre sherry butts from Bodegas Fundador.

Those casks had been used in the Solera system and previously held Oloroso, part of it up to 30 years old. Set against Hampden's HLCF mark and an ester level of 374.1 g/HLPA, the cask influence does not simply add richness; it meets a distillate with plenty of aromatic drive of its own. Bottled at 52%, it keeps that Jamaican intensity firmly in view.

The rum was produced in Trinidad using a traditional column style and matured in a Bourbon Barrel. At 49.6% ABV, it keeps close to the individual cask rather than presenting the softer feel of a broader blend.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this bottle stands out for customers who enjoy rum with a defined provenance and limited availability. Only 222 bottles were filled, and these are the last bottles. Distilled in 1997 and bottled in 2022 after 24 years in a bourbon barrel, it comes from a single cask rather than a wider blend. That makes it a very specific snapshot of one barrel's long maturation.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of rum we place in front of customers who are looking for something limited, mature and clearly defined. Only 188 bottles were released, and with the last bottles now indicated, its collectible nature is very much part of the story. The molasses base, traditional column distillation and Bourbon Barrel maturation give this release a firm structure. At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottles like this are the kind we place in front of rum drinkers who want something with presence, concentration and a clear sense of origin.

With 5083 bottles released, a collectors item indication and the last bottles now in circulation, this Caroni also carries a real sense of scarcity. Its appeal lies in the combination of age, strength and a clearly defined 1996 distillation.

The LROK mark is linked here to an ester level of 200 to 400 gr/hlPA. More than a technical detail, that helps explain the aromatic depth of the rum. This is not a soft, sweet style; its profile is shaped by wood, spice and vegetal notes, with fruit and floral touches adding extra definition.

Bottled at cask strength at 60%, it keeps its intensity intact. The combination of tropical maturation, 13 years (…)

At 54.3% and bottled at cask strength, it keeps close to the character of the individual barrel. The refill barrel gives structure without making the story solely about wood. Instead, the profile is built around clear oak influence, spice and a more vegetal side, with lighter fruit and floral touches in support.

Long Pond 2005 Cambridge (Velier) Incl. Box

Long Pond 2005 Cambridge is a Jamaican molasses rum bottled by Velier and drawn from the Simon Thomson Cambridge Estate category, known here as STCE. Its ester level of 550 to 700 grams per hectolitre of pure alcohol gives the rum a highly defined identity, with the expressive side of Long Pond very much at the centre.

Distilled in 2005 on a pot still, it spent 18 years maturing entirely in a tropical climate in bourbon barrels. That long maturation has not softened away its original force; instead, the early empyreumatic and medicinal elements have evolved into a broader aromatic register with exotic fruit, vanilla, powdery nuances and a retronasal touch of cacao.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as the kind of rum that deserves time in the glass. (…)

The combination of Long Pond, Jamaica and Velier gives this bottle a clear specialist appeal. At Drankenshop Broekmans, releases like this are the kind we like to discuss with customers who are curious about rum in a more powerful, less diluted form, where the distillate remains close to the centre of the experience.

Black Tot Master Blenders Reserve 2023

In stock

Black Tot Master Blenders Reserve 2023 looks back to a lost blending tradition: the perpetual rum blend of the British Navy, maintained from the early 1800s until Black Tot Day in 1970. Black Tot revived that idea in 2020 with the first Master Blender's Reserve, and the 2023 edition was created to sit closer to the original Navy rum style.

For this release, Master Blender Oliver Chilton added his own touch with rum from Grenada, distilled in 1993. That element was selected to bring depth and to underline the rich orange notes in the blend. Bottled at 54.5% cask strength, it combines pot still and column rum, giving a firm, spicy and wood-influenced profile with a measured fruit presence.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of rum we like to present as (…)

Caroni Paradise 1994 #7 is a rum whose appeal lies in origin, patience and scale. This is a molasses rum from Trinidad, distilled in 1994 in a traditional column style and bottled in 2024. That long stretch of time gives the bottle a sense of depth before one even comes to the details of the cask.

Velier bottled this release from a single bourbon barrel at cask strength, 58% alcohol. With only 142 bottles produced, it is a very narrow release rather than a general bottling. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this kind of rum as the sort of bottle that speaks to people who enjoy the individuality of one specific cask.

The 2025 release is the seventh opus in the Great House Distillery Edition series, first launched in 2019. That annual approach gives this edition its own place in the sequence, while staying close to the depth and intensity associated with Hampden.

Rivière Du Mat Royal Reserve is a rum from Île de Réunion built around sugar cane juice. That gives it a different starting point from rums centred mainly on molasses, with the cane itself playing a more direct role and traditional column distillation shaping the spirit.
