Savanna 2013 8y El Yard (Elizabeth Yard With Finishes)
In stock
Savanna 2013 8y El Yard is a molasses rum from Réunion, bottled by Elizabeth Yard. Its appeal lies in its precision: one single cask, bottled at cask strength, with an alcoholic strength of 54.5%. It is not presented as a broad, softened house style, but as a focused selection from one individual cask.
Distilled in 2013 using a traditional column still and bottled on 8 June 2022 after 8 years of maturation, it belongs to the Elizabeth Yard with finishes range. The wine cask forms part of the identity of this release, adding to the sense that this is a very specific bottling rather than a standard expression.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottles like this are valued for their small-scale nature and clear individuality. With only 140 bottles released and (…)Clement Blanc 1l

Clément Blanc 1l is a white rum made from sugar cane juice, a style where the raw material takes the lead. With no wood influence indicated, the focus stays on a clean and direct profile: floral and fruity in tone, with a light spicy and vegetal edge beneath it.
Traditional column distillation supports that clear, fresh character. At 40% alcohol, it has enough presence without moving away from the approachable nature of a white cane juice rum. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we like to point out to customers who want a white rum built around cane freshness rather than oak or sweetness.
The 1 litre format makes it a practical bottle to have on hand, especially for those who enjoy this style regularly. As these are listed as last (…)Mhoba 2020 Single Cask Bourbon Nectar

Mhoba 2020 Single Cask Bourbon Nectar is a South African rum made from sugar cane juice and distilled in a pot still. That already places it in a more distinctive corner of the rum world, with the raw material playing a central role in the identity of the spirit.
This release is all about focus and small-scale character. It was drawn from a single Bourbon Barrel and bottled at cask strength, 57.4%, with just 142 bottles produced. Rather than a broad house style, it presents one individual cask in a concentrated form.
For Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle that adds depth to a rum selection: South African origin, cane juice production, pot still distillation and single cask bottling come together in a rum with a clearly defined place of its (…)Renegade Dunfermline Pot

Its profile points away from heavy wood influence and towards a more aromatic expression. Floral and fruity notes take the lead, with a lighter touch of spice and a vegetal undertone. For drinkers exploring rum through raw material and distillation, this Renegade offers a focused Grenada perspective.

Hampden 9y 2016 LROK MS#3 is a Jamaican rum with a clear sense of origin: distilled at Hampden Estate in Trelawny and centred on the LROK mark, described here as a meeting point between strength and refinement.
Nine years of tropical ageing give the rum real depth, while bottling at 60% keeps the experience vivid and direct. Pot still distillation and maturation in a bourbon barrel form the backbone, yet the personality leans strongly toward floral and fruity expression, with spice and wood playing a supporting role.
Produced in 600 bottles and presented in a 1.5-litre format, this Velier release has a distinctive place at Drankenshop Broekmans: a serious Jamaican molasses rum for drinkers who enjoy intensity with detail.

Jamaica 2010 13y Wpl Nectar is a Jamaican molasses rum, pot still distilled and bottled at cask strength. It is not presented as a softened or polished style, but as a strong, direct single cask release with plenty of room for the rum's own character.
Distilled in 2010 and bottled in September 2023, it matured for 13 years in a bourbon barrel. Only 252 bottles came from this cask, so this is a very focused release rather than a broad, standard expression.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we place this kind of rum among the bottles for drinkers who appreciate clarity of origin, strength and limited availability. Its profile points towards fruit, floral notes and spice, with wood playing a supporting role. Jamaica 2022 Teca (The Nectar - Daily Dram)

Jamaica 2022 Teca from Daily Dram is a clear-cut example of how assertive Jamaican molasses rum can be when it comes from a pot still. Distilled at Long Pond and bottled by The Nectar under the Daily Dram label, this is a single cask release presented at cask strength rather than softened into a more conventional style.
It was distilled in 2022 and bottled in September 2023 after maturation in virgin oak. The short age statement does not make it shy; the focus here is immediacy, aromatic impact and the raw personality of the distillate. With only 340 bottles drawn from the cask, it has the feel of a very specific, tightly framed release.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this sits in the rum selection as a bottle for drinkers who enjoy Jamaica in a more forceful (…)New Grove 8y Whisky Finish Vercors

New Grove 8y Whisky Finish Vercors is a molasses rum from Mauritius with a clear identity: distilled in 2013, aged for 8 years and finished in a whisky cask. It is the kind of bottle where the interest lies in the meeting point between rum, maturation and a distinctive finishing cask.
The Vercors whisky finish gives this New Grove its specific place within the range. Multicolumn distillation and a bottling strength of 46% suggest a rum made for unhurried tasting rather than casual mixing, with enough presence to let the cask influence speak.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a particularly appealing limited release within the rum selection. Only 1500 bottles were produced, and with the last bottles now remaining, it has become a more fleeting (…)Ricci Influences N°2 (Famille Ricci) Incl. Box
