Renegade Nursery

Renegade Nursery is a rum from Grenada built around sugar cane juice rather than a classic age-led story. It is presented without an age statement, so the focus naturally shifts towards origin, raw material and the pot still style behind the spirit.
At 50% ABV, it has a confident presence, with the supplied profile pointing towards fruit and spice rather than sweetness or wood. That makes it a fitting choice within the Drankenshop Broekmans range for drinkers who enjoy rum where the distillate itself remains central.
With only the last bottles remaining, Renegade Nursery is becoming a scarcer part of our selection. Additional information can be found at https://www.renegaderum.com/

Smith & Cross Navy Strength
Temporarily sold out
Expected: 22/11/2026Smith & Cross Navy Strength is a Jamaican molasses rum, pot still distilled and bottled at a robust 57%. That strength is not just a number on the label; it is part of the way this rum presents itself, with a firm and direct presence in the glass.
Its appeal lies in a style that does not lean on sweetness or heavy oak. The profile points clearly towards spice and fruit, with lighter floral and vegetal touches in the background. Although bourbon barrels are mentioned, the wood influence stays restrained, allowing the pot still character to remain central.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, Smith & Cross Navy Strength is the kind of rum we bring into the conversation when someone is looking for something with real structure and energy. There is no age statement (…)Ricci Divergence N°2 50cl (Famille Ricci)

Its identity comes from a deliberately distinctive approach. No additions are mentioned, and the rum is carefully matured in stainless steel vats and amphorae. That keeps the focus close to the spirit itself: fruit-driven and spicy, with a light floral and vegetal edge in the background.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of rum we would introduce to curious tasters rather than to someone looking only for sweetness or heavy wood. Divergence N°2 is about texture, tension and discovery, with ripe fruit, (…)A1710 La Perle Fine

A1710 La Perle Fine is a Martinique rum made from fresh sugar cane juice and bottled at a substantial 67.5%. That strength is part of its identity: this is a concentrated rum, built around the intensity and clarity of the distillate rather than a soft, diluted style.
It is produced through double distillation of fresh cane juice, followed by a distinctive maturation process. The emphasis remains on cane, ripe white fruit, floral detail and spice, without the profile being driven by pronounced wood influence.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, La Perle Fine sits comfortably among rums with a more expressive personality: powerful in strength, aromatic in style, yet described with a soft and creamy palate.

The rum was produced in a multicolumn style and bottled at 46% alcohol. Its profile points mainly towards fruit and spice, supported by lighter floral and vegetal nuances. It is not presented as a rum driven by sweetness or heavy wood influence, which makes the whisky finish all the more intriguing.

What makes it particularly distinctive is its maturation in stainless steel vats and amphorae. Rather than leaning on wood influence, it keeps the focus on cane, fruit and a clearly present spiced dimension. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would point out to someone interested in rum that steps away from the usual path.

The American oak ageing is given an extra dimension through a whisky finish. With no age statement, the focus falls less on a number and more on style: fruit and spice are the main threads, supported by gentle wood influence, a light floral touch and a subtle vegetal edge.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of rum we like to place in front of customers who want to explore how varied the category can be when cane juice, pot still distillation and cask influence come together. Its appeal lies in the directness of the bottling: one single cask, presented at cask strength, with its 53.03% ABV giving the rum a firm and unfiltered presence.
Matured in a bourbon barrel and limited to just 140 bottles, this is not a broad house style or a blended interpretation. It is a close look at one individual cask, selected and bottled with its own profile intact.

At 60.8% ABV, this is a rum with real presence rather than a softened standard bottling.
Distilled in 2012 and bottled in September 2021, it spent 9 years maturing before being drawn from one individual cask. Only 257 bottles were released, so this is a narrow and clearly defined edition.
