Tres Hombres Isla Bonita 97 1l

In stock

Tres Hombres Isla Bonita 97 is a molasses-based rum with a noticeably more serious presence in the glass. The 1997 reference gives it an older, more developed frame, while the 50% strength points to a rum with real substance rather than a soft, easygoing style.

It was made in a multicolumn distilling style and shaped through a solera system, with a Madeira finish adding another layer to the composition. That finish is part of the story, but it does not overshadow the rum's broader identity.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this Isla Bonita as a bottle for rum drinkers who enjoy a fruit-led profile with measured wood, spice and sweetness around it. With only the last bottles remaining, it has the feel of a release worth considering while it is still within (…)

Cash Cane Saloon Cask

In stock

Cash Cane Saloon Cask is a molasses-based rum with a firmer style: bottled at 55% and matured in American Oak. The name sets a clear mood. This is a rum with presence, built around a clearly fruity profile, while oak, spice and sweetness play more of a supporting role.

Its origin and distilling style are both described as mixed, so the focus here is less on a single place or one fixed production route and more on the final character in the glass. With no age statement, the emphasis stays on strength, composition and flavour rather than a declared maturation age.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a rum for customers looking for something with extra strength and a fruit-led profile rather than an overtly wood-heavy style. The last-bottles indication also (…)

El Ron Prohibido Gran Reserva 15y

Only 2 left in stock!

El Ron Prohibido Gran Reserva 15y is a Mexican molasses rum with a 15-year statement and maturation in bourbon barrels. It sits in a style where the fruit-driven side of the rum remains clear, while the cask adds a gentle touch rather than taking over.

Traditional column distillation and the use of a solera system shape a rounded, layered expression. The flavour profile points to fruit as the main theme, supported by light wood, mild spice and a measured sweetness.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of rum we would introduce to someone looking for a Mexican Gran Reserva with maturity and softness, but without an overly heavy oak or spice character.

Patridom XO Tawny Port Tube Incl.

In stock

Patridom XO Tawny Port is a Dominican rum with an added layer of maturation. Its foundation is firmly rooted in the Dominican Republic, where locally grown sugar cane is distilled in a multi-stage column and the rum matures fully in the country's tropical climate. For this recent limited edition, an extra period of ageing took place in selected casks in the continental climate of Pakhuis 1423 in Denmark.

That combination gives the rum a clear sense of place while adding a different finishing touch through the Tawny Port influence. The style leans toward fruit rather than oak, with red berries, cherries and dried fruit forming an important part of its identity, supported by gentle sweetness and light spice.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle (…)

Dictador Parrafo Borbon 2004 18y is a Colombian rum shaped around a clearly defined vintage. Distilled in 2004 and aged for 18 years, it feels more specific than a general house-style release: this is a dated bottling with its own place in the Dictador range.

The maturation in American Oak and the 46% alcohol strength give it presence, while the available profile points away from an overtly wood-led style. Fruit is the main direction here, supported by a lighter spicy accent.

With only 293 bottles produced and the final bottles now indicated, this Dictador has a natural place at Drankenshop Broekmans for customers looking for a limited Colombian rum with age, vintage character and a clearly defined release story.

Mezan Panama 2006 (Mezan Vintages)

On request only

Mezan Panama 2006 is a molasses-based rum from Panama, distilled in 2006 and released as part of the Mezan Vintages range. The vintage approach gives this bottle a clear point of identity: it is centred on a specific origin and distillation year rather than presented as a broad, anonymous style.

Its multicolumn distillation points to a cleaner, fruit-led expression. Although matured in bourbon cask, the supplied profile does not place wood at the forefront. Instead, the character is shaped mainly by fruit, with lighter accents of spice, sweetness and floral detail.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of rum we would point out to someone interested in Panama through a vintage bottling. At 40% alcohol it stays approachable in strength, while the (…)

New Grove Silver

Not available for shipping

New Grove Silver is a Mauritian molasses rum made in a traditional column style. At Drankenshop Broekmans, it stands out as a clear, straightforward rum where the emphasis is not on age or wood influence, but on a bright fruit-led profile.

The flavour direction is shaped mainly by fruitiness, with lighter floral, spicy and sweet touches adding nuance without making the rum feel heavy. With an alcoholic strength of 37.5%, New Grove Silver keeps its character approachable and direct, in line with an unwooded silver rum style.

The note that these are the last bottles gives this release a slightly more limited place on the shelf. It is a neat introduction to a Mauritian rum style that stays fresh, fruit-focused and uncomplicated.

Ricci Influences N°3 (Famille Ricci) Incl. Box

In stock

Ricci Influences N°3 is a molasses-based rum from Famille Ricci, built around a blend of Guatemala at 62% and Guyana at 38%. The use of both pot still and column distillation gives the rum a layered foundation, while the absence of additions keeps the focus on the blend and its maturation.

The cask selection adds much of the intrigue here. Bourbon casks, heavily toasted new casks, Sauternes casks and small toasted acacia casks come together in a style shaped by citrus, dried fruit, gentle honeyed sweetness and toasted notes. It is a refined rum rather than an overly wood-driven one, with the cask influence supporting the fruit and roasted accents.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see Ricci Influences N°3 as a rum for those who enjoy discovering how (…)

Bonpland Sancti Spiritus 19y is a Cuban molasses rum built around age, origin and small-scale bottling rather than broad commercial uniformity. Distilled in 1999 and bottled in 2018, it carries nineteen years of maturation in a 50 cl bottle.

The appeal here lies in its defined release character. This is a single cask rum with a Wine Finish, bottled at 45%, with a total outturn of 441 bottles. Takamaka Koko Rum Liqueur

Takamaka Koko Rum Liqueur is a rum liqueur from the Seychelles, bottled at 25% alcohol. It sits on the softer, sweeter side of rum, with a clearly fruity profile rather than the weight and dryness of a classic straight rum.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would place in the conversation when someone is looking for rum character in a gentler, more relaxed form. Bonpland Sombre

Bonpland Sombre is a molasses-based rum with a darker presentation and a clearly fruity centre. It does not come across as a heavily oak-led rum; instead, the interest lies in its approachable depth, gentle sweetness and subtle aromatic lift.

The use of both pot still and column distillation gives the rum a useful balance of structure and smoothness. Maturation in bourbon barrel supports the style, while the absence of an age statement keeps the focus on the character of the rum itself rather than on a number on the label.

Patridom Gran Reserva Cask Strength 50cl

In stock

Patridom Gran Reserva Cask Strength shows the Dominican rum style in a more forceful form. Bottled at 57.5%, it keeps its cask strength, giving the spirit a concentrated presence without relying on an age statement.

Maturation in American and European oak brings a gentle thread of wood and spice, while the profile remains clearly fruit-led. The multicolumn distillation points towards a clean, defined style, with the higher strength adding weight and impact.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Patridom release we would place in front of someone looking for a bolder rum experience rather than a standard easy-going bottle. The 50 cl format and the indication that only the last bottles remain make it a less everyday appearance on the shelf.

Captain Morgan Tiki-Mango

Planteray Cut & Dry (Planteray Blend)

In stock

Planteray Cut & Dry brings Barbados rum and coconut together in a very clear, characterful way. This limited edition is made from molasses-based rum and built around ripe coconuts, which are harvested, cracked open and left outside to dry naturally before being infused into the rum.

Its most distinctive detail is the ratio: one coconut per litre of rum. The dried coconut pieces are infused in a blend of unaged Barbados column still rum and unaged Gregg pot still rum, before being blended with Barbados rum aged up to 3 years. A dosage of 30 g/L, together with cane sugar caramel, adds a gentle sweetness to the final blend.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, Cut & Dry stands out as a rum with an unmistakably tropical voice, while still keeping Barbados rum at its (…)

Centenario Cafe

In stock

Centenario Café is best understood as a Costa Rican coffee liqueur built on a Centenario rum base. It brings together the softness of rum with natural coffee aromas, giving it a smooth, gourmand style rather than the profile of a traditional sipping rum.

Coffee is clearly at the heart of the experience, while the rum adds roundness and an easy-going warmth. At 26.5% alcohol, it is approachable enough to enjoy neat or over ice, yet expressive enough to bring real character to cocktails.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see Centenario Café as a natural choice for moments where rum, coffee and dessert-like flavours meet. It works after dinner, with ice, or as a rum-based twist in an Espresso Martini.

Malecon Rare Proof 13y + 2 Glasses Incl. Box

In stock

Malecon Rare Proof 13y + 2 Glasses has a more assertive personality than a classic easy-going sipping rum. Bottled at 50.5%, it keeps the strength and density suggested by the Rare Proof name, while remaining clearly built for tasting rather than simply for impact.

The supplied information points to a 2009 distillation and a 2022 bottling, after at least 13 years of maturation. Ageing in American oak bourbon casks gives a natural context to the caramel and wood notes found in the tasting description. Made from molasses and distilled in a traditional column style, it reflects a Spanish-style rum approach where maturity, spice and roundness play an important role.
