Plantation Jamaica 1993 27y Nectar (Planteray - Plantation Single Cask)
Only 3 left in stock!
Plantation Jamaica 1993 27y Nectar is a Jamaican molasses rum with a strong sense of time, cask and origin. Distilled in 1993 and bottled in 2021, it spent 27 years maturing before being released as a single cask in Planteray's Plantation Single Cask range.
The appeal here lies in its concentration and scarcity. Bottled at cask strength at 76.8%, it has not been softened down to a more standard drinking strength, so the personality of the individual cask remains very much at the centre. With only 324 bottles produced, and with the last bottles now available, it holds a notably collectible place in the rum selection at Drankenshop Broekmans.
A Claret Finish adds another layer to an already mature and powerful Jamaican rum. The profile is led by spice, with (…)Caroni Paradise 1998 #2 (Velier) Incl. Box

Very last one in stock!
Caroni Paradise 1998 #2 is a Trinidad molasses rum bottled by Velier, distilled in 1998 and bottled in 2023. It comes from a single bourbon barrel and was released at cask strength, 56.3%, with only 230 bottles drawn from that one cask.
The interest here lies in the concentration of the release. This is not a broad, blended expression, but a very specific barrel selection with a clear sense of scarcity. As a collector's item and with the last bottles indicated, it occupies a special place among the more limited rums in the Drankenshop Broekmans selection.
Its profile is built around wood, spice and fruit, supported by lighter floral and vegetal notes. The data does not point toward a sweet style, so the emphasis is more on structure, cask influence and the (…)Caroni 1998 23y (The Nectar - Daily Dram)

Caroni 1998 23y (The Nectar - Daily Dram)
In stock
Caroni 1998 23y from Daily Dram is a Trinidad rum with a very clear identity: a single cask release, matured for a long period and bottled at cask strength. Distilled in 1998 and bottled in April 2022, this molasses rum spent 23 years in a bourbon barrel.
Its limited nature is central to the appeal. The Nectar released it under the Daily Dram label as a single cask bottling, with only 241 bottles drawn from that barrel. Together with the last bottles indication, it feels less like a standard rum release and more like a precise snapshot of one individual cask.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a rum for drinkers who appreciate a direct, undiluted style. Traditional column distillation, bourbon barrel maturation and bottling at 59% come together in a (…)Hampden Lrok The Younger 3l

Hampden Lrok The Younger 3l is a Jamaican molasses rum from Hampden Estate, distilled in a pot still. It is the kind of rum where the essentials matter: origin, distillation style and a clear sense of identity, rather than an overloaded presentation.
Maturation in a bourbon barrel gives the rum a woody frame, with spice and fruit also clearly present in the profile. At 47% ABV it has enough strength to carry that style with confidence, while still keeping the focus on the rum itself.
The 3 litre format gives this Hampden real presence. At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottles like this are especially interesting when someone is looking for a Jamaican rum that stands out on the table as much as in the glass. Port Mourant 2003 18y from Elizabeth Yard is a molasses-based rum from Guyana, distilled in 2003 and bottled in 2022 after 18 years of maturation. Its appeal lies in the focused nature of the release: one individual cask, bottled at cask strength, with the personality of that cask left clearly in view.
The Bourbon Barrel produced only 219 bottles, and the remaining stock is now down to the last bottles. At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottlings like this are valued for the way they show a specific slice of rum maturation rather than a broader house style or blended composition.
Distilled in a pot still and bottled at 53.2%, it has a naturally firm presence. The flavour profile points towards pronounced wood, spice and fruit, with lighter floral and vegetal accents (…)Guyana 1998 23y Uitvlught (The Nectar - Daily Dram)

The traditional column distillation and Bourbon Barrel maturation give the bottling a focused sense of origin and style.
Its appeal lies strongly in its small-scale nature. This is a single cask release, bottled at cask strength, with only 167 bottles produced. With the last bottles now involved and the release marked as a collectors item, it holds a distinctive place in the rum selection at Drankenshop Broekmans.

Dillon XO Giftbox is a Martinique rum made from sugar cane juice and produced through traditional column distillation. That gives it a clear sense of origin and style, with the cane-based character remaining part of the picture rather than being hidden behind the cask.
The XO name and giftbox presentation give this release a more polished feel. Bourbon cask ageing brings a defined woody side, supported by spice and fruit, while the profile is not built around obvious sweetness.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Dillon we would place in front of someone looking for Martinique rum with structure, cask influence and a neatly presented bottle for gifting or enjoying with attention.

Dillon XO is a Martinique rum made from sugar cane juice, distilled in a traditional column and matured in bourbon casks. It sits firmly in a style where wood, spice and fruit shape the experience, rather than sweetness taking the lead.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of rum we would point out to someone interested in a drier, more structured cane-juice profile. The XO name gives it a sense of maturity, but the real interest lies in how the bourbon cask influence works alongside the rum's cane-based origin.
Bottled at 43%, Dillon XO has enough strength to carry its woody and spicy side, while lighter floral and vegetal touches keep a link to the sugar cane juice foundation. It is a rum with a composed, grown-up feel and no need for excessive (…)Monymusk Mmw #13255 1998 24y (Rest & Be Thankful)

The rum combines pot still and column distillation, giving the blend more range within its Jamaican identity. Maturation in bourbon barrel and bottling at 46% place it in a serious but approachable strength range, while the 13-year age statement gives it the standing of a mature Jamaican rum.

Bottled by The Nectar for the Daily Dram range, it is released at cask strength, 53.5%. The rum was drawn from a bourbon barrel and received a very short Oloroso cask finish from the bottler. That finish adds a final nuance, while the centre of gravity remains firmly with Hampden and the HGML mark.

Temporarily sold out
Hampden Pagos 2023 has a very specific role in the story of Hampden Estate: it is the first release in the distillery's history to be matured entirely in sherry casks. The name Pagos refers to the Spanish term used for vineyard parcels in the Jerez region, so the link with southern Spain is built into the identity of the rum from the start.
For this bottling, Hampden Estate worked with Bodegas Fundador in Jerez. The rum was matured in prestigious 500-litre Oloroso casks that had been used in the solera process and had previously held Oloroso for up to thirty years. Those casks were then prepared for the intensity of Hampden's rum and transferred to the distillery.

Bally 12y Pyramide is the kind of rum that catches the eye before it ever reaches the glass. Its maturation in bourbon casks gives it a dark, mature presence. The colour is described as dark mahogany, and that says a great deal about the style: wood, spice and deeper flavours take the lead, with enough balance to keep the rum composed.
The appeal here lies in the meeting of sugar cane juice character and long cask ageing. The agricole origin brings its own identity, while twelve years in oak add depth, spice and a more developed, contemplative (…)Mezan Long Pond Jamaica 2000 (Mezan Single Cask)
