Trinidad 10y Ao (Elizabeth Yard With Finishes)

In stock

Elizabeth Yard Trinidad 10y Ao is a molasses rum from Trinidad, distilled in 2011 in a traditional column style. It spent 10 years maturing, with American oak playing an important role in its ageing and refinement.

Its appeal lies in the small-scale nature of the release. This is a single cask rum, bottled at cask strength at 50.05%, with only 98 bottles produced. Rather than presenting a broad house style, it captures the character of one individual cask.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a rum for those who enjoy focused, limited bottlings where origin, wood influence and natural strength all remain clearly visible. The fact that only the last bottles remain adds to the sense of a release with a very narrow availability.

The tasting (…)

Takamaka Le Clos Palo 50cl

On request only

Takamaka Le Clos Palo 50cl is a Seychelles rum with a clear sense of place and structure. Made from sugar cane juice and distilled in a pot still, it carries its 56.2% strength with purpose, giving the rum a full and expressive presence rather than a light, casual style.

The cask story is the heart of this release. Maturation in new French oak, old Palo Cortado casks and a Scotch whisky cask brings a layered wood and spice influence, while the tropical origin still comes through in the fruitier side of the rum.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we like to point out to customers who enjoy rum with a distinctive maturation path. The Le Clos series shows a refined approach here: tropical in origin, shaped by carefully selected casks, and now (…)

Nicaragua 2002 14y (Berry Bros - Berry's Own Selection)

In stock

Nicaragua 2002 14y from Berry Bros is a molasses rum with a very clear identity: distilled in 2002, aged for 14 years and bottled as part of Berry's own selection. Its appeal lies in that precise combination of origin, vintage and maturation rather than in a broad brand story.

Made in Nicaragua in a traditional column style, it was matured in a bourbon barrel. The wood influence is clearly present, while the 46% strength gives the rum enough structure to carry its character with confidence.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this bottle sits well among independently selected rums with a defined age and vintage. With only the last bottles remaining, it is the kind of release that particularly speaks to drinkers who enjoy Berry Bros bottlings and more specific rum (…)

Belize 2007 11y For The Nectar (Transcontinental Rum Line)

On request only

Belize 2007 11y For The Nectar from Transcontinental Rum Line is a focused single cask molasses rum from Belize. Distilled in 2007 and bottled in 2018 after 11 years of maturation, it captures one specific cask rather than the broader style of a large blended batch.

Its maturation in a bourbon cask gives the wood influence a clear place in the profile, alongside a pronounced fruity side. Bottling at cask strength, 48.2%, keeps the presentation direct, while the traditional column distillation underlines its structured style. Spice and sweetness are present, but they sit more in support of the main fruit and wood-driven character.

With only 317 bottles released and the last bottles now indicated, this rum has a naturally limited feel within the Drankenshop (…)

Very last one in stock!

Dominican Republic 2006 16y from 1423 Rum World Class is a molasses-based rum from the Dominican Republic, distilled in 2006 and bottled in August 2022. It is a rum with a clear sense of place and time: 16 years old, drawn from a single cask and bottled at natural cask strength.

The spirit was made in a Traditional Column style and matured in a Bourbon Barrel. That cask influence is an important part of its identity, supported by lighter sweet, fruity, spiced and floral accents rather than a broad or heavily blended style.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we like to present as a focused rum selection: one cask, 59% alcohol, only 282 bottles produced. With the last bottles now available, it has the character of a limited release that (…)

Rumpublic Origins Thailand & Philippines (Rum Public)

Only 3 left in stock!

Rumpublic Origins Thailand & Philippines is built around place and blending rather than an age statement. It brings together rum from Thailand and the Philippines, making origin one of the central ideas behind the bottle.

The blend combines pot still and column distillates, so its identity comes from the meeting of different production styles. Rather than presenting itself through a stated age, it focuses on how these components are brought together under the Rumpublic name.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of rum we place in front of customers who are curious about origin-led blends and want something that looks beyond a single country or distillation approach. Bottled at 41.5%, it sits just above the most common entry strength while remaining (…)

Bielle 2009 10y Asta M (Asta Morris)

Bielle 2009 10y Asta M is a Guadeloupe rum with a very focused identity: distilled in 2009, bottled in 2019 and drawn from a single bourbon cask. With only 226 bottles produced, this is not a broad house-style release, but a small-scale bottling built around one particular cask and its ten years of maturation.

Made from molasses and distilled in a traditional column, it carries a clearly wood-led profile, with lighter touches of spice, fruit, sweetness and vegetal character around it. Bottled at 49.4% cask strength, it keeps a closer connection to the cask rather than presenting a softened, standardised version.

Havana Club Seleccion De Maestros

In stock

Havana Club Seleccion De Maestros is a Cuban molasses rum bottled at 45%. In the rum range at Drankenshop Broekmans, it stands out for a profile where oak and spice take the lead, while fruit and sweetness stay more in the background.

American oak plays an important role in the way this rum presents itself. The emphasis is not simply on softness or sweetness; there is a clearer sense of structure, with wood and spice giving the rum its main direction.

The multicolumn distillation points to a precise style rather than a heavy one. It is a Havana Club expression we would place in front of someone looking for a Cuban rum with more firmness and presence, while still staying within a clean and approachable frame.

The flavour profile is led by wood (…)

Cartavio Reserva 8y

Only 2 left in stock!

Cartavio Reserva 8y is a Peruvian molasses rum built around maturation, fruit and oak rather than sheer intensity. Made by multicolumn distillation and aged through a solera system, it presents a polished style in which the influence of American Oak is clearly part of the story.

The character leans toward noticeable wood and fruit, with a lighter thread of spice and sweetness in support. At 40% alcohol, it stays measured and approachable, allowing the maturation style to come through without becoming heavy.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see Cartavio Reserva 8y as a good introduction to Peruvian solera rum: a rum where American oak, molasses-based depth and a rounded profile come together in a calm, well-defined way.

Patridom XO Limoux Tube Incl.

In stock

Patridom XO Limoux is a Dominican rum built around the meeting of tropical ageing and a second maturation in Europe. It begins with locally grown sugar cane from the Dominican Republic, distilled in a multicolumn still and matured in the country's warm tropical climate.

The defining detail here is the additional ageing in selected casks at Pakhuis 1423 in Denmark, where the more continental climate adds another layer to the rum's development. That extra stage gives the wood, spice and dried-fruit tones a clear voice, while keeping a lighter fruitiness in the background.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this Patridom stands out as a limited rum with a pronounced cask-driven personality. Its 43% strength gives enough structure for the oak spice and tannic side to show (…)

Last Ward 2007 16y (Velier) Incl. Box

In stock

Last Ward 2007 16y is a Barbados rum with a distinctly serious presence. Distilled in 2007, aged for sixteen years and bottled at cask strength, it comes across as a rum that keeps close to the strength and concentration of the cask, rather than being softened into an easy-going style.

The pot still distillation and maturation in a bourbon barrel give the release its firm structure, with wood playing a clear role in the overall profile. This is molasses rum with maturity and weight at the centre of the story.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, Last Ward 2007 16y sits naturally among the more distinctive rum bottlings: limited in availability, marked as a collector's item, and now down to the last bottles. It is the kind of release that speaks most clearly to drinkers (…)

Malecon 1976 Esplendida

Only 2 left in stock!

Malecon 1976 Esplendida is a Cuban molasses rum built around a very clear point of identity: the 1976 distillation year. That gives the bottle a more defined story than a regular house-style rum, with the vintage acting as an important part of its character.

It was distilled in a multicolumn style and matured in bourbon cask. The flavour profile points to fruit and wood as the main elements, with spice and sweetness playing a more restrained supporting role. Rather than presenting itself as a heavily sweet rum, it sits closer to a mature, cask-influenced style with a fruity core.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a rum for people who enjoy a bottle with a little more context in the glass. The appeal lies in the combination of Cuban origin, a specific (…)

Barcelo Imperial Mizunara Incl. Box

Barcelo Imperial Mizunara is a Dominican Republic rum built around one particularly eye-catching detail: Mizunara Oak. Rather than presenting itself through an age statement, this release places the emphasis on cask influence and on the identity that this wood choice gives to the rum.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, it sits naturally among bottles chosen for drinkers who enjoy exploring how rum can change through different cask approaches. The Barceló name, the Imperial designation, the sugar cane juice category and the Mizunara oak reference all point to a rum with a clearly defined idea behind it.

Dictador 18y

In stock

Dictador 18y is a Colombian rum shaped by its Caribbean-coast origin and the tropical ageing conditions of Cartagena. Made from virgin sugar cane honey, it sits on the more mature side of Dictador's house style: still smooth in feel, but with added depth from long ageing in oak.

The use of bourbon barrels gives the rum a firm woody frame while leaving room for fruit, dark chocolate tones and gentle spice. It is bottled at 40%, with a character that feels rounded rather than heavy, and mature without losing the softness associated with Dictador.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a strong choice for anyone who enjoys the polished Dictador style but wants a more developed expression. The bottle's holographic label also underlines the brand's contemporary (…)

New Grove Bon Espoir

In stock

New Grove Bon Espoir is a rum from Mauritius, and that origin is an important part of its appeal. It brings New Grove's Mauritian perspective to a style connected with molasses and sugar cane juice, offering something different from the more familiar rum regions.

Its production combines pot still and column distillation, giving Bon Espoir a place between two rum-making approaches. The bourbon barrel reference adds a cask element, although the available profile points to a relatively gentle wood influence rather than a heavily oak-driven style.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a good introduction to Mauritian rum for drinkers who prefer a measured, approachable glass. At 40% alcohol, the emphasis stays on an easy flow of light fruit, soft spice, gentle (…)

Trinidad 2016 10y Bottled In Collaboration With Rums Of Anarchy Belgium (Nobilis Rum) Incl. Box

Very last one in stock!

Trinidad 2016 10y is the kind of rum where the bottling itself tells an important part of the story. Nobilis Rum selected this single cask as release #55, bottled in collaboration with Rums of Anarchy Belgium, from rum distilled in 2016 at Trinidad Distillers Limited and bottled in 2026 after 10 years of maturation.

Its ageing path gives the rum a particularly expressive foundation: 8 years in the tropical climate of Trinidad, followed by 2 years of continental maturation in Europe. Drawn from a heavy column still and bottled at full cask strength of 68.2%, it was released without chill filtration, colouring or added sugar. The result stays close to the cask and to the raw strength of the spirit.

Only 279 bottles were filled from this cask, making it a (…)

Tres Hombres Isla Bonita 97 1l

In stock

Tres Hombres Isla Bonita 97 is a molasses-based rum with a noticeably more serious presence in the glass. The 1997 reference gives it an older, more developed frame, while the 50% strength points to a rum with real substance rather than a soft, easygoing style.

It was made in a multicolumn distilling style and shaped through a solera system, with a Madeira finish adding another layer to the composition. That finish is part of the story, but it does not overshadow the rum's broader identity.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this Isla Bonita as a bottle for rum drinkers who enjoy a fruit-led profile with measured wood, spice and sweetness around it. With only the last bottles remaining, it has the feel of a release worth considering while it is still within (…)

Tres Hombres Isla Bonita 1997 50cl

Tres Hombres Isla Bonita 1997 is the kind of rum that stands out because of how specifically it is presented. Distilled in 1997 and bottled in 2019, it spent 22 years developing before being released at cask strength, with its 50% alcohol giving it a firm, undiluted presence.

This is a Spanish molasses rum, made through traditional column distillation and connected to a solera system. The Madeira finish adds another maturation element, while the single cask release keeps the focus on one particular parcel rather than a broad blend.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a rum for drinkers who enjoy maturity, cask influence and a bottling with a clearly defined identity. With the last bottles now indicated, it has become an even more focused choice for (…)
