Dictador 2 Masters 1980 37y Chateau D'Arche

On request only

Dictador 2 Masters 1980 37y Chateau D'Arche is a Colombian rum built around age, provenance and scarcity. Distilled in 1980 and bottled in 2018, it carries a 37-year age statement. As a single cask release limited to 390 bottles, it feels much more like a defined piece of maturation history than a regular expression.

The Chateau D'Arche name and the Sauternes finish are central to this release. They frame the rum as a meeting between Dictador's Colombian spirit and a finishing cask with its own identity. The production background also notes the use of both pot still and column distillation, while the real focus remains on the long ageing period and the individuality of the cask.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottles like this are the ones we introduce with a (…)

Plantation Guyana 2007 (Teeling Whiskey Finish) Drankenshop Broekmans (Planteray - Plantation Single Cask)

On request only

Plantation Guyana 2007 with a Teeling Whiskey Finish is built around a very specific combination: rum from Guyana, distilled in 2007, and finished in an ex-whisky cask linked in the name to Teeling Whiskey. That cask choice gives this release its point of difference and places it outside the more regular Plantation bottlings.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a small-scale, cask-driven release rather than a broad house style. It comes from the Plantation Single Cask series, with only 126 bottles produced, and the product is now marked as last bottles. That makes the scale of the bottling part of its appeal: one cask, one limited outturn, one particular interpretation of Guyana rum.

Bottled at 53.7%, it has the strength and presence one would associate (…)

Zafra 21y Master Reserve Incl. Box

Last one in stock!

Zafra 21y Master Reserve is a Panamanian molasses rum with a 21-year age statement. Its character is closely tied to long maturation and bourbon barrel ageing, giving the rum a mature profile where wood influence and spice play an important role.

Rather than presenting itself as a heavily sweet style, this Zafra leans toward a more composed expression. The flavour profile points clearly to wood and spice, with lighter touches of fruit, flowers and sweetness sitting in support. That makes it a rum with a measured, grown-up feel, while still staying connected to its molasses base.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as an interesting bottle for customers looking for an aged rum from Panama with a clear cask-driven identity. Traditional column distillation and (…)

Belize Traveller 16y (Elizabeth Yard With Finishes)

In stock

Belize Traveller 16y is a Belizean molasses rum from Elizabeth Yard, distilled in a traditional column still. Distilled in June 2006 and aged for 16 years, it has the feel of a rum shaped by time rather than by easy sweetness.

The small scale is a major part of its appeal. This is a single cask release, bottled at cask strength at 49.9%, with only 94 bottles produced. At Drankenshop Broekmans, releases like this are valued because they show one particular cask rather than a broad, blended house style.

Its profile leans towards spice and wood, with sweetness and fruit playing a more restrained role. That gives Belize Traveller 16y a mature, focused character with a firm rum backbone.

The flavour centres on spice, with clear notes of black coffee (…)

Mount Gay Andean Oak

Only 2 left in stock!

Mount Gay Andean Oak shows a mature side of Barbados rum, built on a molasses base and carrying a 14-year age statement. The combination of pot still and column distillation gives the release a broader foundation than a rum defined by one single distilling approach.

Its defining feature is the Andean oak finish. That cask influence sits naturally with the supplied profile, where wood and spice are clearly present, supported more subtly by fruity, floral and sweet tones.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this bottle has a particular appeal for drinkers who follow distinctive Barbados rum releases and want to explore Mount Gay with a more pronounced oak-driven angle. With the last bottles indicated and the release marked as a collector's item, it has an added sense of (…)

Mount Gay Last Ward 2009 9y (Habitation Velier)

Only 2 left in stock!

Mount Gay Last Ward 2009 9y is a Barbados rum with a very clear sense of origin: molasses-based, pot still distilled and aged for nine years. The Mount Gay name places it firmly in Barbados, while Velier's Habitation Velier bottling gives it a more specialist angle, focused on the raw identity of the spirit.

Its cask strength bottling at 59% is central to the way this rum presents itself. Rather than being softened into a more standard drinking strength, it keeps the full presence of the pot still distillate, alongside the influence of maturation in a bourbon cask.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, releases like this have a distinct role in the rum selection. They are for drinkers who enjoy seeing how a vintage, a nine-year maturation and a specific cask type shape (…)

Kawama 19y Extra Anejo

In stock

Kawama 19y Extra Anejo is a Cuban molasses rum shaped by long maturation. It is a blend of several very old 19-year-old Cuban rums, bottled at 40%, with the calm, rounded depth one looks for in an aged Cuban style.

American oak plays a clear supporting role here, bringing a polished woody tone alongside darker, richer flavours. The character moves through caramel, honey, candied fruit, noble wood, dark chocolate, tobacco and roasted coffee, with tropical fruit and soft spice in the background.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of rum we would point out to someone who enjoys taking time with an older Cuban rum rather than using it casually. With only the last bottles remaining, the Kawama 19y Extra Anejo has a quiet sense of scarcity without needing (…)

Barcelo Imperial Onyx Incl. Box

In stock

Barceló Imperial Onyx is a Dominican rum with a clear emphasis on oak and spice. Its American oak cask influence fits the style well: this is not a rum built mainly around sweetness, but one where wood character and spiced tones play the leading role.

There is no age statement here, so the focus shifts to style, origin and composition rather than a number on the label. Multicolumn distillation is part of the production profile, while the Dominican Republic gives the rum its place of origin. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a good example of a rum for drinkers looking for a more structured Dominican expression.

Light fruity, floral and sweet notes sit in the background, adding some lift without taking attention away from the oak-driven and (…)

Mount Gay Single Estate #2 Incl. Box

In stock

Mount Gay Single Estate #2 is a molasses-based rum from Barbados, bottled at 55% and presented at cask strength. The name puts the focus on a clearly defined origin, while the use of both pot still and column distillation gives the rum a sense of structure rather than a one-dimensional style.

American oak is an important part of its identity. The supplied profile points to wood and spice as the most pronounced elements, with lighter notes of fruit, floral nuance and sweetness in support. With no age statement given, the emphasis is less on a number and more on the way this particular release expresses Mount Gay's rum character.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this sits well among Barbados rums with extra strength and presence, especially for drinkers who appreciate (…)

Takamaka Grankaz #3

In stock

Takamaka Grankaz #3 brings together several sides of Seychelles rum in one clearly defined blend. At its core are traditional rums made from pure cane juice, pot still distilled and matured for forty-two months in new French oak with a medium toast. That already gives it a different angle from a rum built solely around molasses.

The blend is then deepened with a three-year-old ex-bourbon molasses rum and an eight-year-old molasses rum from the Foursquare distillery. Rather than feeling like separate parts, the elements point in the same direction: cane juice freshness, oak, spice and the fuller sweetness associated with molasses rum.

Bottled at 51.6%, Grankaz #3 has the strength to carry that layered composition. At Drankenshop Broekmans, it sits well among (…)

Kawama 13y Extra Anejo

Only 2 left in stock!

Kawama 13y Extra Anejo is a Cuban molasses rum, blended from different rums aged 13 years. It sits firmly in a more mature Cuban style, where oak, spice and darker aromatic notes have had time to develop beyond the straightforward sweetness of younger rum.

Ageing in American Oak supports that warm, rounded depth. The traditional column distillation keeps the Cuban profile clean and composed, while the longer maturation brings forward caramel, vanilla, oak and ripe fruit tones.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we place with the more developed Cuban rums: approachable at 40%, yet with enough age to give it weight and depth. With the last bottles now available, it also has the quiet appeal of a release that is nearing the end of its time on (…)

Dictador 78 Platinum

In stock

Dictador 78 Platinum is a Colombian rum in the sugar cane honey style, bottled at 40%. With no age statement, the focus falls on how the rum is shaped: distilled in a stainless steel alambic and developed in sherry and port casks.

The appeal here lies in the contrast between controlled distillation and a cask influence that points clearly towards wood and spice. Rather than presenting itself as a purely sweet rum, the available profile suggests a more wood-led, spiced character, with fruit and floral notes playing a lighter supporting role.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, Dictador 78 Platinum sits well among Colombian rums for customers looking for a polished, cask-driven style with more structure than straightforward sweetness.

Bielle 2015 7y (Asta Morris)

In stock

Bielle 2015 7y is a Guadeloupe rum with a very focused identity: one cask, seven years of ageing and bottled at cask strength. Drawn from a bourbon barrel, the release was limited to just 270 bottles, giving it the feel of a specific cask story rather than a standard expression.

Distilled in a traditional column and bottled in 2022, it carries its 56.2% strength with a clear sense of intensity. The bourbon barrel adds noticeable wood and spice, while the rum still keeps a lively fruit-driven side.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we like to present to customers who enjoy discovering the individuality of a single cask. With the last bottles now in sight, it is very much a limited release to appreciate while it is still available.

Ricci 7e Symphonie (Famille Ricci) Incl. Box

In stock

Ricci 7e Symphonie is built around the idea of a composed blend rather than a single-origin statement. Famille Ricci brings together rum from Marie-Galante at 30% and Barbados at 70%, combining pot still and column still distillates, with no additives. The result is a rum with a layered foundation and a clear sense of structure.

What makes this bottle stand out in the Drankenshop Broekmans selection is the ambitious cask work behind it. French oak, American oak, black oak, Ambura, Minuzara, Acacia and Mahogany all play a part in the maturation. That variety is not just there for effect; it gives the rum room to develop wood depth, spice and gentle sweetness without losing its sense of harmony.

Bottled at 49%, it has enough strength to carry those layers with (…)

Trinidad 2007 16y (Campbeltown Whisky Company - Watt Whisky)

Very last one in stock!

Trinidad 2007 16y from Watt Whisky is a molasses rum built around the character of one individual cask. Distilled in 2007 and bottled in 2023 after 16 years of ageing, it was drawn from a refill barrel, giving this release a very specific identity rather than a broad house-style expression.

Bottled at cask strength, 57.1%, it presents itself in a direct and uncompromised way. The traditional column distillation and single cask origin point to a rum where the details of origin, maturation and cask selection matter.

Only 264 bottles were released, and the fact that these are the last bottles adds to the sense of scarcity. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of rum we place in front of customers who enjoy independent bottlings and want to explore Trinidad (…)

Worthy Park Jmwp 2006 15y Tb (Thompson Brothers)

In stock

Worthy Park Jmwp 2006 15y Tb is a Jamaican molasses rum, pot still distilled and bottled by Thompson Brothers. It is a bottle that speaks very directly: one distillery origin, one individual cask, and a cask strength presentation that keeps the rum close to its source.

Distilled in 2006 and bottled in 2021, it spent 15 years in a bourbon barrel. As a single cask release, it represents one particular barrel rather than a recurring house style. Bottled at 54%, it retains the firm, unsoftened presence that cask strength rum drinkers often look for.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a distinctive choice within the Jamaican rum selection: a Thompson Brothers bottling for those who enjoy pot still rum with a clear sense of origin and limited availability. (…)

Bonpland Nicaragua 18y 50cl

On request only

Bonpland Nicaragua 18y is a rum with a very clear identity: a molasses-based Nicaraguan rum, traditionally column distilled, aged for eighteen years and bottled from a single cask. Distilled in 1998 and bottled in 2016, it presents a specific point in time rather than a broad house blend.

The wine finish adds an extra layer to the maturation story. The profile is led by wood and spice, while lighter fruity, floral and sweet touches keep the rum from feeling one-dimensional.

With only 437 bottles released, this is a limited bottling rather than a regular-volume expression. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we value releases like this because they allow rum drinkers to explore a precise origin, cask and age in one bottle. The last-bottles indication also tells you that (…)

Valdespino Rare Spirits Old Rum

In stock

Valdespino Rare Spirits Old Rum is a Spanish molasses-based rum bottled by Valdespino as part of the Rare Spirits range. Its most distinctive feature is the sherry cask maturation, giving the wood and spice elements a clear role in the way the rum presents itself.

The distillation combines pot still and column methods, placing this release between characterful depth and a more composed style. At 43% alcohol, it has enough strength to carry its woody and spiced profile without relying on sheer intensity.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this Valdespino stands out as a limited bottling: 3000 bottles were released, and these are now the last bottles. It is a fitting choice for drinkers looking to explore a Spanish rum shaped by sherry maturation and a restrained but (…)

Belize 2006 Traveller 12y (1423 Single Barrel Selection)

In stock

Belize 2006 Traveller 12y is the kind of rum that speaks through one individual cask rather than a house style. Made from molasses in Belize and distilled in 2006 using a traditional column still, it was bottled in March 2018 after 12 years in a Bourbon Cask.

The appeal here lies in its precision and scarcity. This is a single cask release from 1423 Rum World Class, bottled at cask strength at 64.7%, with only 269 bottles produced. As these are the last bottles, the release feels especially finite: a direct snapshot of one cask and one maturation path.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottlings like this are valued for the way they let rum drinkers explore a more concentrated style. Wood and spice form the main structure, supported by lighter touches of fruit, (…)

Angostura Number One 3rd

Angostura Number One 3rd is a 22-year-old rum from Trinidad, made from molasses and distilled in a multicolumn style. From the information available, this is very much a mature rum, yet not one presented as a sweet-driven style.

The Oloroso Sherry cask maturation gives wood and spice an important place in its character. The appeal lies in the way its age, Trinidad origin and cask type come together: a rum with structure and maturity, shaped by time in wood rather than by overt sweetness.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this sits well among the more serious aged rums in the selection. With only the last bottles remaining, Angostura Number One 3rd also has the feel of a release that will not stay easy to find for long.

Trinidad 10y Ao (Elizabeth Yard With Finishes)

In stock

Elizabeth Yard Trinidad 10y Ao is a molasses rum from Trinidad, distilled in 2011 in a traditional column style. It spent 10 years maturing, with American oak playing an important role in its ageing and refinement.

Its appeal lies in the small-scale nature of the release. This is a single cask rum, bottled at cask strength at 50.05%, with only 98 bottles produced. Rather than presenting a broad house style, it captures the character of one individual cask.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a rum for those who enjoy focused, limited bottlings where origin, wood influence and natural strength all remain clearly visible. The fact that only the last bottles remain adds to the sense of a release with a very narrow availability.

Takamaka Le Clos Pineau 50cl

On request only

Takamaka Le Clos Pineau is a sugar cane juice rum from the Seychelles, pot still distilled and bottled at 54.8%. The Le Clos series is built around craftsmanship and cask influence, and this release takes its direction from a Pineau de Charente finish, adding a clear layer of wood, spice and fruit to its tropical foundation.

Rather than leaning on an age statement, this rum speaks through style and cask choice. The character suggested here is expressive and layered, with the Seychelles origin bringing the tropical side while the finishing cask adds depth and a more vinous accent. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we appreciate releases like this because they show how versatile sugar cane juice rum can become when the cask treatment is given a central role.
