Jamaica 1982 33y Bos (Berry Bros - Berry's Exceptional Casks)
Only 3 left in stock!
Jamaica 1982 33y Bos from Berry's Own Selection is a Jamaican molasses rum with a very specific story behind it. Distilled in 1982 and bottled in 2016, it spent 33 years maturing before Berry Bros released it as part of the Berry's Exceptional casks range.
Rather than being a broad house style, this is the voice of one bourbon cask. It was bottled at cask strength, 57%, with just 225 bottles produced. That combination of age, single cask origin and limited outturn is exactly why a rum like this stands out in the selection at Drankenshop Broekmans.
There is also a natural sense of scarcity here: the bottle is marked as a collector's item and only the last bottles remain. For anyone drawn to older Jamaican pot still rum, this is a focused and finite release (…)Caroni 1996 25y Ricky (Caroni Employees)

Caroni 1996 25y Ricky is a Trinidad rum with a very clear sense of presence. Distilled in 1996, aged for 25 years and bottled at a cask strength of 66.2%, it is the kind of rum that speaks in a firm, uncompromising voice.
The bourbon barrel maturation and traditional column distillation give this release its structure, while the production of just 630 bottles adds a real sense of rarity. With only the last bottles remaining, it holds a distinctive place in the rum selection at Drankenshop Broekmans, especially for those looking for a notable Caroni bottling rather than a standard everyday pour.
Its profile is led by pronounced spice, with fruit and vegetal notes also playing an important role. Oak is present, but more as support than as the main theme. (…)Caroni Paradise 1996 #4 (Velier) Incl. Box

Caroni Paradise 1996 #4 (Velier) Incl. Box
Very last one in stock!
Caroni Paradise 1996 #4 is a Trinidad rum where the main story is time, strength and scarcity. Bottled by Velier, it was distilled from molasses in 1996 and bottled in 2023 after 27 years of ageing. Rather than coming from a broad batch, it was drawn from a single bourbon barrel, giving this release a very specific cask identity.
Only 215 bottles were produced, and it was bottled at cask strength at 68.1% ABV. That makes it a rum with real presence, aimed at drinkers who appreciate the individuality of a single cask and the directness of a high-strength bottling. At Drankenshop Broekmans, releases like this stand out because they bring together provenance, age and limited availability in a very tangible way.

Trinidad 1993 from 1423 Rum World Class is a molasses rum with a very clear focus: one origin, one cask and a long period of maturation. Distilled in 1993 and bottled in October 2021, it spent 28 years maturing before being released at cask strength.
The rum was produced in Trinidad using a traditional column style and matured in a Bourbon Barrel. At 49.6% ABV, it keeps close to the individual cask rather than presenting the softer feel of a broader blend.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this bottle stands out for customers who enjoy rum with a defined provenance and limited availability. Only 222 bottles were filled, and these are the last bottles. The main impression is built around spice, wood influence and a noticeable vegetal side, with fruit playing a more (…)Black Tot 1975 40 Years

Black Tot 1975 40 Years

Black Tot 1975 40 Years is the kind of rum where the details immediately set the pace. It is a Guyanese molasses rum, pot still distilled, with 40 years of age behind it and the 1975 vintage clearly placed at the centre of its identity.
The bourbon barrel maturation brings a clear wood presence, but the character is not defined by oak alone. The profile points strongly toward spice, with fruit also playing an important role and sweetness kept more in the background. That gives this rum a mature, contemplative feel rather than an easy, overtly sweet one.
Within the selection at Drankenshop Broekmans, this Black Tot stands out as a rum for drinkers who enjoy provenance, age and a more pronounced style. Bottled at cask strength at 44.2%, it keeps its (…)Hampden Dok 2020 2y (The Nectar - Daily Dram)

Hampden Dok 2020 2y (The Nectar - Daily Dram)
On request only
Hampden Dok 2020 2y is a Jamaican molasses rum with a clearly independent-bottler identity. Released by The Nectar under the Daily Dram label, it was distilled in 2020 and bottled in September 2022 at 2 years of age.
The appeal here lies in its compact but forceful setup: pot still distillation, a single cask, cask strength bottling at 65.6%, and an Islay finish. Rather than leaning on sweetness, this rum is shaped by wood, spice and fruit, with the Islay cask adding an unusual angle to the maturation.
Only 228 bottles were produced, and with the last bottles now in circulation, this Hampden has a particularly distinctive place at Drankenshop Broekmans for drinkers who enjoy small-batch Jamaican rum with intensity and a less conventional cask influence.

Vieux Casimir 2016 10y (La Maison & Velier) Incl. Box

Vieux Casimir 2016 10y is a Haitian rum from Velier, made from sugar cane juice and distilled in a pot still. That already points toward a more direct, distillate-driven style rather than a rum built around easy sweetness.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this bottle stands out because of its combination of origin, strength and maturation detail. The Caroni Finish gives the ageing an extra point of interest, while the core remains clear: a ten-year-old Haitian rum bottled at a serious 55.9% ABV.
The supplied profile places wood, spice and vegetal notes at the centre, with fruit playing a quieter role. Vieux Casimir 2016 10y is therefore best understood as a firm, characterful rum with structure and presence, made for drinkers who enjoy a more outspoken cane-juice (…)Bonpland Uitvlugt 23y 50cl (2)

Bonpland Uitvlugt 23y is a Guyanese molasses rum, distilled in 1993 and bottled in 2016. Its 23 years of age are central to its identity: this is a mature rum shaped by time, with a wine finish adding another layer to the single cask character.
The scale of the release makes it especially noteworthy. Only 356 bottles came from this individual cask, and these are now the last bottles. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of rum we like to place in front of someone looking beyond standard releases: clearly defined, limited, and with enough detail to tell a real story in the glass.
The pot still style and flavour profile point towards wood, spice, fruit and a more vegetal side, rather than a rum driven by pronounced sweetness. Bottled at 45%, it keeps a (…)Guyana 1990 30y Port Mourant (1423 Single Barrel Selection)

Pot still distillation, bourbon cask maturation and bottling at 53.1% cask strength give this release a naturally firm presence. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of rum that stands out through restraint in presentation and depth in detail: origin, age, cask and strength all matter here.

The Bourbon Barrel maturation brings a clear woody side, but the profile is not built on wood alone. Spice and fruit are just as clearly present, with a lighter vegetal note in the background. It gives the rum a firm, expressive structure rather than a sweet-driven style.

The appeal here lies in its concentration and scarcity. Bottled at cask strength at 76.8%, it has not been softened down to a more standard drinking strength, so the personality of the individual cask remains very much at the centre. Hampden Great House 2023

Hampden Great House 2023 is a Jamaican rum with a strong sense of place behind it. This fifth edition in the exclusive Great House series pays tribute to Hampden Estate's historic Great House, built in 1779 by the Stirling family and still standing in its original form. Until the 20th century, the first floor was used to store rum casks before they were sent on to the harbour.
Today, the Great House serves as the distillery's reception and representation house. The rum carrying its name follows that same connection between heritage and present-day interpretation. It is made from a blend of different marks, with a recipe that changes from year to year, so the 2023 edition offers its own view of the Hampden style rather than a fixed repeat of a previous release.
