Saint James Ephemeres N°6 Incl. Box

In stock

Saint James Ephemeres N°6 is a rum from Martinique made from sugar cane juice, distilled in a traditional column and bottled at cask strength. At 54.4%, it keeps a firm and direct expression, staying close to the influence of the cask rather than being softened into a gentler style.

It was distilled on 12 December 2006 and aged for 15 years in American oak. That maturation places wood and spice at the centre of the rum's personality, with lighter floral, fruity and vegetal touches giving a reminder of its sugar cane juice origin.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we place in front of customers looking for a mature agricole-style rum with power, age and a clear oak signature. With 4,910 bottles released and only the last bottles (…)

Clarendon 2004 16y (Campbeltown Whisky Company - Watt Whisky)

In stock

Clarendon 2004 16y is a Jamaican molasses rum bottled by Watt Whisky, part of the Campbeltown Whisky Company. Its appeal lies in the way it has been presented: a single bourbon barrel, bottled at cask strength, with a total outturn of only 270 bottles.

Distilled in 2004 and bottled in June 2021, it spent 16 years maturing before release. The multicolumn distillation points to a defined Jamaican rum style, while the single cask approach keeps the focus on one individual barrel rather than a broader blend.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of rum we place in front of customers who enjoy independent bottlings with a clear origin and a limited release character. With the last bottles now remaining, it also has that extra sense of scarcity that naturally (…)

Ricci Influences N°1 (Famille Ricci) Incl. Box

In stock

Ricci Influences N°1 from Famille Ricci is a molasses-based rum built from two origins: 70% Trinidad and 30% Jamaica. It brings together pot still and column distillation, giving the rum a layered feel rather than a single, straightforward direction.

The maturation story is a major part of its identity. Bourbon casks, new oak, Pineau casks and heated mini-casks all play a role, drawing the rum towards wood, spice and toasted notes. Bottled at 46% and made without additives, it keeps a clear sense of structure while retaining a smooth, approachable texture.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see Ricci Influences N°1 as a rum for drinkers who enjoy a more cask-driven style without moving into heavy sweetness. Its name is well chosen: this is a rum shaped by (…)

Clairin Vieux Sajous 5y 57,50° (La Maison & Velier)

On request only

Clairin Vieux Sajous 5y presents Haitian clairin in a more mature register, while staying close to its sugar cane juice origin. Bottled by Velier, it is linked to Michel Sajous and the Chelo distillery, with five years of ageing in Haiti's tropical climate shaping the spirit.

This second edition of Vieux Sajous follows the first cuvée released in 2020. It is a blend of 14 casks that previously held notable rums, whiskies and cognacs. That cask history brings wood, spice and depth into the picture, yet the identity of Clairin remains central rather than being covered by maturation.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a compelling bottle for drinkers interested in aged cane spirits with a clear sense of origin. At 57.5% alcohol it has real presence, (…)

Guyana 1999 Pm (1423 Single Barrel Selection)

In stock

Guyana 1999 PM from 1423 Rum World Class is a molasses rum from Guyana with a distinctly serious profile. Distilled in 1999 on the classic Port Mourant Double Wooden Pot Still and bottled in 2023 at cask strength, it is described in the product information as a 22-year-old example of why this still and this style of rum became so highly regarded among connoisseurs.

Its appeal lies in how specific it is. This is a single bourbon cask release, bottled at 52.6%, with only 157 bottles drawn from the cask. Rather than a broad house style, it gives a focused impression of one cask and one particular expression of Guyanese pot still rum.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would introduce to someone looking for rum with weight, dryness and (…)

Karukera Black Alligator Small Batch 1l

On request only

Karukera Black Alligator Small Batch is a Guadeloupe rum with a clear focus on cask influence. Made from sugar cane juice and distilled in a traditional column style, it is finished in toasted barrels, bringing wood and spice firmly into the picture.

The Black Alligator name fits that darker, toasted direction. This is not a rum built around overt sweetness; its personality is drier, more structured, with the barrel adding depth while the cane-juice origin still shows through in lighter floral, fruity and vegetal touches.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a distinctive choice for drinkers looking for Guadeloupe rum with extra strength and toasted wood character. Bottled at 45% in a Small Batch format, it has drawn steady interest and is now down to its (…)

Caroni Paradise 1994 #3 (Velier) Incl. Box

Very last one in stock!

Caroni Paradise 1994 #3 is a Trinidad rum built around precision and scarcity: one cask, one vintage, one very small release. Distilled in 1994 and bottled in 2023, it spent 29 years maturing in a bourbon barrel before being bottled at 52.8%.

Only 215 bottles were drawn from this single cask, giving the rum a very specific identity. Rather than presenting a broad house style, it captures the character of one individual barrel after long maturation. Its collector's item status follows naturally from that limited scale and clearly defined origin.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this Velier bottling sits among the rums we would point out to customers interested in mature, rare molasses rum with a strong cask-driven personality. Wood and spice form the main structure, (…)

Very last one in stock!

Caroni Paradise 1996 #1 by Velier is a Trinidad molasses rum with a very focused identity. Distilled in 1996 in a traditional column style and bottled in 2023, it carries the weight of a long maturation without being softened down before release.

The rum comes from a single bourbon barrel and was bottled at cask strength, 62.7%. Only 213 bottles were filled, and with the last bottles now in circulation, its collectible nature is part of the story rather than an afterthought.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of rum we place in front of someone looking for intensity, scarcity and a clear cask-driven personality. The Velier name, the Trinidad origin and the single cask format all point in the same direction: a powerful, limited rum for serious (…)

Jamaica 2015 Clarendon Sb (1423 Single Barrel Selection)

Very last one in stock!

Jamaica 2015 Clarendon Sb from 1423 Rum World Class is a molasses-based Jamaican rum, pot still distilled and bottled at cask strength. It comes from a single cask, so the emphasis is on a precise cask-driven snapshot rather than a broad, polished blend.

Distilled in 2015 and bottled in 2022, it matured in a bourbon barrel and was released at 65.7% ABV. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of rum we would point out to someone looking for Jamaican rum with real intensity and a more direct style.

With the last bottles now available, the limited nature of the cask becomes part of the appeal. Its profile is centred on wood and spice, with lighter fruit, floral and vegetal accents in support, while sweetness is clearly not the main focus.

Long Pond 2000 21y Elyard (Elizabeth Yard Single Cask)

In stock

Long Pond 2000 21y Elyard is a Jamaican molasses rum with a very clear sense of origin. Bottled by Elizabeth Yard from a single hogshead cask, it spent 21 years maturing before being released at cask strength, 51.3% ABV.

Only 220 bottles came from this individual cask, and the remaining availability is now limited. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of rum we would point out to someone looking for a Jamaican bottling with real flavour, presence and the funky edge highlighted in the product information.

Distilled in 2000 and bottled in 2022, it carries the directness of a pot still rum rather than a polished, anonymous style. The emphasis is on intensity, individuality and a firm Jamaican signature.

Aromatically, it shows green banana (…)

Worthy Park 12y Incl. Box

In stock

Worthy Park 12y is a Jamaican rum with a clear sense of origin: a Single Estate release from the Worthy Park distillery, molasses-based and pot still distilled. That combination gives it a firm identity, with depth and presence rather than a light, neutral style.

Twelve years in bourbon barrels bring out wood and spice, while the rum still keeps its fruitier and lightly vegetal side. At 50% ABV, it has the strength to carry those flavours with confidence, without making the alcohol the main point of the experience.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of rum we place among bottles with a little more substance and story. With 2000 bottles released and the last bottles now available, Worthy Park 12y feels like a rum to open with attention rather than pour (…)

Saint James Ephmere N°5 Vintage 2005 Incl. Box

In stock

Saint James Ephmere N°5 Vintage 2005 is a Martinique rum made from sugar cane juice and distilled in 2005 in a traditional column style. That gives the bottle a clear sense of origin: the story begins with the cane itself, rather than with a sweeter molasses-driven profile.

Maturation in a bourbon barrel places wood and spice at the front of the experience. This is not presented as a sweet rum; its appeal lies more in the cask influence, the spicy structure and the more direct cane-juice style, carried by a firm strength of 51.8%.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as the kind of rum that rewards a more curious drinker. Its 2005 vintage, Martinique origin and collector's item status give it a specific place among Saint James releases, especially for (…)

Riviere Du Mat Agricole 6y Incl. Box

Only 2 left in stock!

Rivière Du Mat Agricole 6y is a sugar cane juice rum from Île de Réunion, distilled in a traditional column style. That cane juice origin gives it a clear identity within rum: more directly linked to the raw material than a molasses-based style.

Six years in bourbon casks bring wood and spice clearly into the picture, while sweetness is not the main theme here. The profile is more about cask structure, spice and a light vegetal edge, with gentle fruity and floral touches in the background.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this Rivière Du Mat as a fine choice for discovering aged agricole-style rum from Réunion, especially when the appeal lies in cane character supported by measured barrel influence.

Plantation Fiji 2005 15y (Planteray Vintage)

On request only

Plantation Fiji 2005 15y is a molasses-based rum from Fiji, released as part of the Planteray Vintage range. It brings together pot still and column distillation, giving the rum a foundation that is not only about structure, but also about depth and presence.

Distilled in 2005 and aged for 15 years, it was given a Cognac finish as the final part of its maturation. That makes this a rum where vintage, origin and cask influence all matter, without turning the bottle into a technical exercise.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this Fiji bottling sits comfortably among the more distinctive limited rums in the selection. Bottled at 50.2%, it has the strength to carry its character clearly, and with only the last bottles remaining, it is a release with a naturally finite (…)

Hampden Great House 2024

On request only

Hampden Great House 2024 is the sixth release in a series that has been renewed every year since 2019. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see it as one of those Jamaican rums that immediately explains why Hampden Estate has such a distinctive voice: pot still intensity, a firm 57% ABV, and a flavour profile that does not try to hide its energy.

The name comes from Hampden's Great House, a monumental building from 1779. Today it is where guests are received, but it originally served as a warehouse for casks waiting to be transported to the harbour, a role it kept until the early 20th century. That connection between place, casks and history gives this annual edition a clear sense of identity.

For the 2024 release, Hampden brought together several types of rum, made (…)

Caroni Paradise 1998 #2 (Velier) Incl. Box

Very last one in stock!

Caroni Paradise 1998 #2 is a Trinidad molasses rum bottled by Velier, distilled in 1998 and bottled in 2023. It comes from a single bourbon barrel and was released at cask strength, 56.3%, with only 230 bottles drawn from that one cask.

The interest here lies in the concentration of the release. This is not a broad, blended expression, but a very specific barrel selection with a clear sense of scarcity. As a collector's item and with the last bottles indicated, it occupies a special place among the more limited rums in the Drankenshop Broekmans selection.

Its profile is built around wood, spice and fruit, supported by lighter floral and vegetal notes. The data does not point toward a sweet style, so the emphasis is more on structure, cask influence and the (…)

Angostura Number One 3rd

In stock

Angostura Number One 3rd is a 22-year-old rum from Trinidad, made from molasses and distilled in a multicolumn style. From the information available, this is very much a mature rum, yet not one presented as a sweet-driven style.

The Oloroso Sherry cask maturation gives wood and spice an important place in its character. The appeal lies in the way its age, Trinidad origin and cask type come together: a rum with structure and maturity, shaped by time in wood rather than by overt sweetness.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this sits well among the more serious aged rums in the selection. With only the last bottles remaining, Angostura Number One 3rd also has the feel of a release that will not stay easy to find for long.

The flavour profile is led by (…)

Caroni 1998 23y (The Nectar - Daily Dram)

In stock

Caroni 1998 23y from Daily Dram is a Trinidad rum with a very clear identity: a single cask release, matured for a long period and bottled at cask strength. Distilled in 1998 and bottled in April 2022, this molasses rum spent 23 years in a bourbon barrel.

Its limited nature is central to the appeal. The Nectar released it under the Daily Dram label as a single cask bottling, with only 241 bottles drawn from that barrel. Together with the last bottles indication, it feels less like a standard rum release and more like a precise snapshot of one individual cask.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a rum for drinkers who appreciate a direct, undiluted style. Traditional column distillation, bourbon barrel maturation and bottling at 59% come together in a (…)

Caroni 23y 1994 Guyana (Velier)

In stock

Caroni 23y 1994 Guyana is the kind of rum that asks for attention before it is even poured. A 1994 distillation, 23 years of age and bottling at 57.18% cask strength place it firmly in a more serious, concentrated style of molasses rum.

It was distilled using pot still and column still methods, then matured in a bourbon barrel. The supplied profile points towards a rum where wood, spice and vegetal tones carry much of the expression, with fruit and floral notes playing a lighter role. It is not presented as a soft, sweet style, but as a mature rum with structure and force.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this Caroni is treated as a noteworthy bottle because several meaningful elements come together: age, vintage, cask strength and the fact that only the last (…)
