Angostura Number One 3rd

In stock

Angostura Number One 3rd is a 22-year-old rum from Trinidad, made from molasses and distilled in a multicolumn style. From the information available, this is very much a mature rum, yet not one presented as a sweet-driven style.

The Oloroso Sherry cask maturation gives wood and spice an important place in its character. The appeal lies in the way its age, Trinidad origin and cask type come together: a rum with structure and maturity, shaped by time in wood rather than by overt sweetness.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this sits well among the more serious aged rums in the selection. With only the last bottles remaining, Angostura Number One 3rd also has the feel of a release that will not stay easy to find for long.

Takamaka Le Clos Palo 50cl

On request only

Takamaka Le Clos Palo 50cl is a Seychelles rum with a clear sense of place and structure. Made from sugar cane juice and distilled in a pot still, it carries its 56.2% strength with purpose, giving the rum a full and expressive presence rather than a light, casual style.

The cask story is the heart of this release. Maturation in new French oak, old Palo Cortado casks and a Scotch whisky cask brings a layered wood and spice influence, while the tropical origin still comes through in the fruitier side of the rum.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we like to point out to customers who enjoy rum with a distinctive maturation path. The Le Clos series shows a refined approach here: tropical in origin, shaped by carefully selected casks, and now (…)

Mezan Diamond Guyana 2003 (Mezan Vintages)

In stock

Mezan Diamond Guyana 2003 is a molasses-based rum from Guyana, bottled as part of the Mezan Vintages range. The name already gives it a clear identity: Diamond, Guyana and the 2003 distillation year place this release in a more precise, origin-led style of rum.

The production details add to that sense of definition. It combines pot still and column distillation, so the rum is not built around one single distilling approach. Maturation in bourbon barrels supports the more woody and spiced side of the profile, while the data points to only a lighter fruity and vegetal presence rather than an overtly sweet expression.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottlings like this have a natural appeal for customers who enjoy vintage rum with a clear origin and a more mature, (…)

Mount Gay 2007 Last Ward Hab (Habitation Velier)

On request only

Mount Gay 2007 Last Ward Hab is a Barbados molasses rum with a firmly defined personality. Distilled in 2007, aged for 10 years and bottled at a cask strength of 59%, it is clearly made for those who appreciate rum with weight and directness rather than a soft, sweet-led style.

The pot still distillation and bourbon barrel maturation point the rum towards a profile where wood, spice and fruit all have a clear voice. It feels like a release built around structure and presence, with the strength left intact to keep that character close to the cask.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this bottling stands out among the stronger Barbados rums in the selection. With only the last bottles remaining, it is also a release whose availability is becoming increasingly narrow.

Malecon 1982 Esplendida Incl. Box

Last one in stock!

Malecon 1982 Esplendida is a Cuban molasses rum distilled in 1982 using a traditional column style. That vintage reference gives the bottle a clear sense of place and time, making it more than a standard rum selection: the year, the origin and the maturation all help define its identity.

The bourbon cask maturation supports a profile built around wood influence, spice and fruit. It is not presented as a heavily sweet rum; the emphasis sits more on the interplay between cask character and distillate.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of rum we place in front of customers who appreciate context in the glass. Cuba, molasses, traditional column distillation and the 1982 vintage come together in a composed 40% bottling with a mature sense of style.

Guyana 1993 (1423 Single Barrel Selection)

In stock

Guyana 1993 from 1423 Rum World Class is built around a very focused idea: one cask, one origin, and a long period of maturation. Distilled from molasses in 1993 using a traditional column still, it was bottled in August 2023 after 30 years of ageing.

Its ex-Bourbon cask maturation gives the rum an important part of its identity, while the bottling strength of 59.2% keeps it close to the cask. It has not been chill-filtered and no additives were used, so the expression remains direct and unpolished in the best sense. With only 136 bottles produced, and the last bottles now available, this is a very small single cask release.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, releases like this are valued for the way they show a specific cask rather than a broad house style. The story (…)

Depaz Vintage 2002

On request only

Depaz Vintage 2002 is a Martinique rum made from sugar cane juice and distilled in a traditional column still. The 2002 vintage gives this release a clear point of identity: it is not a broad house style, but a rum tied to a specific distillation year.

The bourbon cask brings a noticeable wood presence, while the flavour profile also points strongly towards spice and fruit. That combination gives the rum a more structured, mature feel, with the cask influence playing an important role without standing alone.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would highlight to someone looking for a characterful Martinique rum with a vintage indication. At 45% and now marked as last bottles, Depaz Vintage 2002 has the feel of a release worth discovering (…)

Guyana 2001 19y Skeldon (1423 Single Barrel Selection)

Very last one in stock!

Guyana 2001 19y Skeldon is a molasses-based rum with the feel of a very focused release. Distilled in 2001 and bottled in February 2021, it spent 19 years maturing before being presented under the 1423 Rum World Class name. The traditional column distillation and Guyanese origin give it a clear identity from the outset.

Its appeal lies in the details that all point in the same direction: one single cask, bourbon cask maturation, cask strength bottling and only 178 bottles produced. With the final bottles now in play, this is less a regular range item and more a specific snapshot of one cask at one moment in time.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as the kind of rum that speaks to drinkers who enjoy provenance and concentration rather than broad, polished (…)

Havana Club Seleccion De Maestros

In stock

Havana Club Seleccion De Maestros is a Cuban molasses rum bottled at 45%. In the rum range at Drankenshop Broekmans, it stands out for a profile where oak and spice take the lead, while fruit and sweetness stay more in the background.

American oak plays an important role in the way this rum presents itself. The emphasis is not simply on softness or sweetness; there is a clearer sense of structure, with wood and spice giving the rum its main direction.

The multicolumn distillation points to a precise style rather than a heavy one. It is a Havana Club expression we would place in front of someone looking for a Cuban rum with more firmness and presence, while still staying within a clean and approachable frame.

Barbados 2000 23y Tb (Thompson Brothers)

On request only

Barbados 2000 23y TB from Thompson Brothers is a molasses-based rum with a very focused identity: Barbados origin, distilled in 2000, matured for 23 years and drawn from a single refill barrel. The distillation style combines pot still and column distillation, adding another layer to the way this rum is framed.

Only 247 bottles came from this cask, and the remaining availability is limited to the last bottles. Rather than presenting a broad house blend, this release captures one individual barrel after long maturation, bottled at 48.5%.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of rum we like to present to customers who are curious about specific cask selections. The supplied profile points towards a rum where wood and spice carry the main weight, with (…)

Patridom XO Limoux Tube Incl.

In stock

Patridom XO Limoux is a Dominican rum built around the meeting of tropical ageing and a second maturation in Europe. It begins with locally grown sugar cane from the Dominican Republic, distilled in a multicolumn still and matured in the country's warm tropical climate.

The defining detail here is the additional ageing in selected casks at Pakhuis 1423 in Denmark, where the more continental climate adds another layer to the rum's development. That extra stage gives the wood, spice and dried-fruit tones a clear voice, while keeping a lighter fruitiness in the background.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this Patridom stands out as a limited rum with a pronounced cask-driven personality. Its 43% strength gives enough structure for the oak spice and tannic side to show (…)

Black Tot Master Blenders Reserve 2023

In stock

Black Tot Master Blenders Reserve 2023 looks back to a lost blending tradition: the perpetual rum blend of the British Navy, maintained from the early 1800s until Black Tot Day in 1970. Black Tot revived that idea in 2020 with the first Master Blender's Reserve, and the 2023 edition was created to sit closer to the original Navy rum style.

For this release, Master Blender Oliver Chilton added his own touch with rum from Grenada, distilled in 1993. That element was selected to bring depth and to underline the rich orange notes in the blend. Bottled at 54.5% cask strength, it combines pot still and column rum, giving a firm, spicy and wood-influenced profile with a measured fruit presence.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of rum we like to present as (…)

Trinidad 2016 10y Bottled In Collaboration With Rums Of Anarchy Belgium (Nobilis Rum) Incl. Box

Very last one in stock!

Trinidad 2016 10y is the kind of rum where the bottling itself tells an important part of the story. Nobilis Rum selected this single cask as release #55, bottled in collaboration with Rums of Anarchy Belgium, from rum distilled in 2016 at Trinidad Distillers Limited and bottled in 2026 after 10 years of maturation.

Its ageing path gives the rum a particularly expressive foundation: 8 years in the tropical climate of Trinidad, followed by 2 years of continental maturation in Europe. Drawn from a heavy column still and bottled at full cask strength of 68.2%, it was released without chill filtration, colouring or added sugar. The result stays close to the cask and to the raw strength of the spirit.

Only 279 bottles were filled from this cask, making it a (…)

Tres Hombres Isla Bonita 1997 50cl

Tres Hombres Isla Bonita 1997 is the kind of rum that stands out because of how specifically it is presented. Distilled in 1997 and bottled in 2019, it spent 22 years developing before being released at cask strength, with its 50% alcohol giving it a firm, undiluted presence.

This is a Spanish molasses rum, made through traditional column distillation and connected to a solera system. The Madeira finish adds another maturation element, while the single cask release keeps the focus on one particular parcel rather than a broad blend.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a rum for drinkers who enjoy maturity, cask influence and a bottling with a clearly defined identity. With the last bottles now indicated, it has become an even more focused choice for (…)

Riviere Du Mat Royal Reserve

Rivière Du Mat Royal Reserve is a rum from Île de Réunion built around sugar cane juice. That gives it a different starting point from rums centred mainly on molasses, with the cane itself playing a more direct role and traditional column distillation shaping the spirit.

Bourbon cask maturation adds a clear layer of wood and spice. Around that core, the profile shows lighter floral, fruity and vegetal touches, while sweetness is not the main theme. The result is a rum that feels more structured than overtly sweet.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would point out to someone looking for a sugar cane juice rum with cask influence and a firm, composed style.

El Salvador 2013 from 1423 Rum World Class is built around a very specific rum story: one cask, one origin and one vintage. Distilled from molasses in 2013 in a traditional column still, it was bottled in August 2023 after ten years of maturation.

The ex-port cask maturation gives the rum an extra layer of depth, while the bottled strength of 57% keeps the style direct and full of presence. The supplied tasting notes point towards dried fruit, warm spice, delicate honey and a subtle touch of oak, so the emphasis sits more on warmth and spice than on heavy sweetness.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this bottle belongs among the rums chosen for drinkers who enjoy a more transparent presentation of cask and distillate. It was not chill filtered and no additives were (…)

Dictador 2 Masters 1980 37y Chateau D'Arche

On request only

Dictador 2 Masters 1980 37y Chateau D'Arche is a Colombian rum built around age, provenance and scarcity. Distilled in 1980 and bottled in 2018, it carries a 37-year age statement. As a single cask release limited to 390 bottles, it feels much more like a defined piece of maturation history than a regular expression.

The Chateau D'Arche name and the Sauternes finish are central to this release. They frame the rum as a meeting between Dictador's Colombian spirit and a finishing cask with its own identity. The production background also notes the use of both pot still and column distillation, while the real focus remains on the long ageing period and the individuality of the cask.

Drawn from a single bourbon cask and limited to 300 bottles, it sits at Drankenshop Broekmans among the rums where the story is shaped by more than brand or category alone. The use of pot still and column distillation adds another point of interest, while the single cask format keeps the focus on one individual parcel of rum.

Made from molasses and distilled in a traditional column style, it is bottled at cask strength at 57.1%. That gives the release a direct, unpolished feel, with the strength and cask identity left clearly in view. Only 262 bottles were filled, and with the last bottles now indicated, this has become a very small remaining parcel.
