Ron Bodega White

In stock

Ron Bodega White is an unaged white rum with an unusual point of origin: it is produced on the north-east coast of Scotland. That immediately gives it a different angle from many familiar white rums, while still keeping the focus firmly on rum character.

It is made from sugarcane syrup and double distilled in a pot still. With no maturation taking the lead, the interest comes from the spirit itself: aromatic, lively and more layered than one might expect from a white rum.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we enjoy introducing to customers who see white rum as more than just a mixing spirit. It has the brightness for a classic Daiquiri, yet the tasting profile also gives it enough presence to be explored neat.

The aroma brings (…)

Foursquare White Hab (Habitation Velier)

On request only

Foursquare White Hab is a white molasses rum from Barbados, bottled by Velier as part of the Habitation Velier range. Its appeal lies in the spirit itself: pot still and column distillation, presented without a woody profile taking the lead.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a bottle for rum drinkers who enjoy distinctive white rum with provenance, strength and bottler identity. With only the last bottles remaining and the product marked as a collector's item, it carries an extra sense of scarcity without needing (…)

Travellers 2015 10y (Cadenhead's Single Cask)

Only 3 left in stock!

Travellers 2015 10y shows the appeal of a single cask rum in a very direct way. Bottled by Cadenhead's as part of the Single Cask range, it comes from one bourbon barrel, so the focus is on one particular cask rather than on a broad, blended house expression.

This is a molasses-based rum from Belize, distilled in a traditional column style and aged for ten years. At 55% it has real presence, yet the supplied notes point above all to a rich, full style with a clear dessert-like character. Vanilla, caramel, dates, nuts and warm bakery tones shape the impression.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this kind of bottle is appreciated for its specificity: independent bottler, single cask origin, Belize provenance and only the last bottles remaining. It is a rum with enough (…)

Tres Hombres XXV Solera is a molasses-based rum from the Dominican Republic, carrying a 25-year age statement and built around a solera system. That immediately gives it a mature, composed identity rather than the feel of a straightforward young rum.

Planteray Grande Reserve 1l is a Barbados rum with a clear sense of place. Made from molasses and built from both pot still and column distillation, it gains an extra layer of roundness through its Cognac cask finish.

What gives this rum its particular charm is the story behind the blend. Planteray Grande Reserve (Planteray Blend)
