Strathmill 1990 is a Speyside single malt with a very focused identity: one distillation date, one hogshead, one small outturn. It was distilled on 26 March 1990 and bottled by Signatory on 3 November 2015 after 25 years of maturation, released at cask strength as part of the Cask Collection.
What makes this bottling stand out is its sense of specificity. Rather than presenting a broad, blended house style, it captures the character of a single cask at one point in time. Only 245 bottles were filled, and with the last bottles now remaining, it has a naturally scarce place in the older whisky selection at Drankenshop Broekmans.

Strathmill 2008 16y Awwif is a Speyside single malt built around the individuality of one cask. Distilled on 26 March 2008 and bottled in June 2024 by Alistair Walker for the Infrequent Flyers range, it gives a focused look at Strathmill after 16 years of maturation.
A Pedro Ximenez finish adds an important part of the cask story, while bottling at 55.4% cask strength keeps the whisky in a direct, undiluted form. Rather than presenting a broad house style, this release captures one specific cask at one specific point in time.

Distilled in 2014 and bottled in 2024 by Watt Whisky, it comes from a single hogshead and was released at cask strength, 56.4%. Only 310 bottles were drawn from this cask, so at Drankenshop Broekmans we see it as the kind of whisky that rewards curiosity while it is still around.
