Lindores 1494
Temporarily sold out
Expected: 27/10/2026Lindores 1494, also known as MCDXCIV, takes its name from a significant date in Scotch whisky history: 1494, the year of the first written reference to Scottish whisky production. That historical link feels especially fitting, as this single malt is produced on the historic site of Lindores Abbey in Fife.
As a Lowland single malt, it leans towards fruit, soft sweetness and gentle spice rather than smoke. Maturation in bourbon casks, sherry casks and STR Wine Barriques gives it several points of interest, with vanilla, honeyed notes and fruit sitting at the heart of the style.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, Lindores 1494 has the kind of story we enjoy sharing: rooted in a landmark moment for Scotch whisky, yet bottled in a contemporary way at 46% alc., without (…)Lindores Friar John 2026

Lindores Friar John 2026
Temporarily sold out
Expected: 27/10/2026Lindores Friar John 2026 is a Lowland single malt with a strong sense of place and history. Its name honours Friar John Cor, the Lindores monk linked to the famous 1494 reference to aqua vitae, regarded as the earliest written mention of the production that preceded whisky as we know it today.
That gives this release a particular resonance. It connects Lindores Abbey, the early story of Scotch whisky and the distillery's present-day craft in one bottle. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of whisky we enjoy introducing because it carries more than flavour alone; it brings a meaningful piece of whisky history into the glass.
Bottled at 52.5% and shaped by Port cask influence, it has a characterful style built around fruit, gentle spice and a light woody (…)Lindores Nectere

Lindores Nectere
Temporarily sold out
Expected: 27/10/2026Lindores Nectere is a Lowland single malt shaped around sherry cask maturation. Oloroso, Pedro Ximînez, Amontillado and Palo Cortado casks all play a part here, giving the whisky a layered sherry-led identity rather than a single broad cask influence.
The name Nectere is drawn from the Latin Conectere, meaning to connect. That idea runs through the release: Lindores brings together its history, local barley and Spanish cask traditions in one composed whisky. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we enjoy presenting because the concept behind it is clear in the glass.
At 47.2% ABV, it has enough strength to carry its spiced and fruity side with confidence. There is no peat in the profile; instead, the focus sits on warm spice, dark fruit, (…)
