Lagg Kilmory is a telling introduction to Lagg single malt from the Isle of Arran. Named after the village where the distillery is located, it was one of the first two official bottlings released by Lagg in 2023. That gives it a special role: this is the distillery presenting its own style in a clear, direct way.
Distillery manager Graham Omand has spoken of his hope that Lagg single malt will one day become heritage. Kilmory feels like one of the first steps in that story. It is matured entirely in ex-bourbon barrels and made from Concerto barley malted to 50 ppm peat, with specific yeast strains and fermentation time helping to shape a full, rich yet fresh profile.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see Kilmory as a strong expression of what Lagg stands for. The (…)Lagg Corriecravie Incl. Box

Lagg Corriecravie Incl. Box

Lagg Corriecravie shows a richer, more weighty side of Lagg. As the distillery's second core reference, it starts with malt peated to 50 ppm, matures first in bourbon casks and then spends six months in oloroso sherry hogsheads sourced directly from Miguel Martin in Jerez. That finishing period brings extra depth to the spirit, with a focus on sweeter spice and fuller fruit.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of single malt that naturally draws attention from drinkers who enjoy peat with substance. It is bottled at 55% ABV, without chill filtration and without added colouring, keeping the presentation close to the whisky itself. Corriecravie is also bottled in smaller quantities than the Kilmory Edition, giving it a slightly more distinctive place in the Lagg (…)Lagg Distillery New Make Spirit 20cl

Lagg Distillery New Make Spirit 20cl
Not available for shipping
Lagg Distillery New Make Spirit is not presented as a traditionally matured whisky, but as a direct look at the spirit in its young, unwooded form. It gives a clear impression of where Lagg's character starts, before cask influence becomes part of the story.
At 63.5%, this is a powerful small-format release, with peat and spice standing at the centre of the profile. A light salty edge and a subtle floral touch add definition, while wood influence is absent. For Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle that speaks to drinkers who enjoy exploring the foundations of a distillery rather than only the finished matured whisky.
Coming from the Isle of Arran and bottled in 20cl, it is a compact but distinctive way to discover Lagg in a very direct form. With (…)Lagg Inaugural Release 3

Lagg Inaugural Release 3
In stock
Lagg Inaugural Release 3 belongs to the early story of Lagg on the Isle of Arran. This Scottish single malt was distilled in 2019 and bottled at 50%, with a Wine Finish giving this release its own place within the distillery's first wave of bottlings.
The release was limited to 10,000 bottles, and with the last bottles now in focus it has a particular relevance at Drankenshop Broekmans. We see it as a snapshot from the formative years of Lagg: young, clearly defined and already showing a firm sense of direction.
Its flavour profile points to a whisky where fruit and peat carry the main impression, supported by lighter floral, woody, spicy and slightly salty accents. The 50% strength adds presence, making this a single malt with a more pronounced stance rather (…)Lagg Single Cask 2019 7y For The Nectar

Lagg Single Cask 2019 7y For The Nectar
In stock
Lagg Single Cask 2019 7y For The Nectar is a Scottish single malt with a very direct link to the early story of Lagg on the Isle of Arran. It was distilled in 2019, the year the distillery opened, and selected for the 20th anniversary of The Nectar. That gives this release a sense of place in time: an individual cask from the first chapter of the distillery.
Matured for 7 years in a refill hogshead and bottled at cask strength, 59.3%, it keeps the focus firmly on the spirit. The cask adds support rather than taking over, allowing Lagg's peated, fresh and fruity style to come through, together with the oily texture mentioned in the product story.
Only 228 bottles were drawn from this cask. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as the kind of bottling that is (…)Lagg Small Batch Manzanilla

Lagg Small Batch Manzanilla
On request only
Lagg Small Batch Manzanilla shows a particularly focused side of Lagg: heavily peated single malt from the Isle of Arran, shaped by the salty, wine-like finesse of Manzanilla casks. The peat smoke is clear, but it is carried by more than intensity alone, with red fruit, warm honey and gentle spice giving the whisky extra depth.
Its maturation tells much of the story. The whisky first spent time in first- and second-fill bourbon barrels, before receiving more than a year of finishing in first-fill Manzanilla casks. That final stage adds a maritime, mineral edge and keeps the richness neatly framed.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this release as a strong choice within the Scottish single malt selection for drinkers who enjoy peat with structure and (…)Lagg Small Batch Quarter Cask Incl. Box

Lagg Small Batch Quarter Cask Incl. Box

Lagg Small Batch Quarter Cask is a bold Isle of Arran single malt built around the meeting point of peat and active oak. For this third internationally released Small Batch, the whisky spent six full years in 125-litre Quarter Casks, a maturation choice that gives the wood a particularly strong voice.
The casks were rebuilt from former bourbon barrels and selected by Distillery Manager Graham Omand to intensify the influence of the oak. Because of their smaller size, the whisky has closer contact with the wood, developing richness, sweetness and spice around clear notes of vanilla, butterscotch and toasted oak.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a strong, characterful Scottish single malt rather than a gentle introduction. Bottled at 56%, without chill (…)
