Knappogue Castle 12y Marsala is an Irish single malt whiskey built around a clear cask-finish identity. The twelve-year age statement gives it maturity, while the Marsala finish adds the most distinctive part of its personality: a fruit-led style with gentle support from wood and spice.

Knappogue Castle 1951 36y
In stock
Knappogue Castle 1951 36y is the kind of Irish whiskey where the dates immediately set the tone. Distilled in 1951 and bottled in 1987, this pure pot still whiskey spent 36 years maturing in sherry casks. Its provenance adds real weight to the story: it comes from the now-closed B. Daly distillery.
As a single cask release with collector status, it sits in a very particular place at Drankenshop Broekmans. This is not presented as an everyday Irish whiskey, but as a rare surviving link to a vanished distillery and a long period of maturation.
The style is shaped by mature wood, fruit and a gentle thread of spice. The sherry cask maturation gives the whiskey depth, while peat and salinity are not part of its profile.
