Kilbeggan is an Irish blended whiskey with a gentle, elegant style and a clear malt-driven side. The name refers to the Kilbeggan distillery dating from 1757, while this blend comes from the Cooley distillery. It keeps the feel of an approachable Irish whiskey, without peat smoke or heavy oak taking over.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, Kilbeggan sits comfortably among whiskeys chosen for drinkability and clear flavour. Its bourbon cask maturation supports the rounded character, while the profile leans mainly toward fruit, with light floral and spicy accents in the background.
The charm here is in its softness: honey, malt, pear and gentle spice come through in a way that feels smooth and uncomplicated, without becoming plain.

Kilbeggan Single Pot Still
On request only
Kilbeggan Single Pot Still presents an Irish whiskey built around the Single Pot Still style, bottled at 43% and released without an age statement. Its character is not shaped by smoke or coastal salinity; the emphasis sits more with fruit and floral notes, supported by a lighter touch of wood and spice.
The bourbon barrel maturation fits that profile well. It gives the whiskey a frame without pushing it into a heavily oaked direction, allowing the brighter fruit-led and floral side to remain central.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Irish whiskey we like to place in front of someone who wants to explore Single Pot Still without being overwhelmed by oak or peat. With the last bottles now in our selection, it also carries a certain sense of (…)Kilbeggan Triple Cask

Kilbeggan Triple Cask

Kilbeggan Triple Cask is an Irish blended whiskey built around a gentle interplay of cask influence, light spice and fruit. Rather than presenting itself through an age statement, it draws attention to its triple cask identity, giving this Kilbeggan a slightly broader frame within the Irish whiskey style.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we would place this bottle with Irish blends that offer a little extra cask-driven character without moving into heavy or smoky territory. The 43% strength gives it a touch more presence, while the available flavour profile points to a restrained and approachable style.
As these are the last bottles, Kilbeggan Triple Cask is also becoming a less common sight in our current selection. It is a good moment to get to know this (…)
