Reki Helios

Reki Helios is a Japanese blended whisky with a profile that clearly leans towards fruit rather than weight or smoke. With no age statement, the focus is less on a specific number of years and more on the style of the blend itself: composed, fruit-led and straightforward to understand in the glass.
American oak adds a gentle wood influence, supported by a light spiced edge. It does not come across from the supplied profile as a heavy or peated whisky; its appeal lies in the cleaner fruity direction, with oak playing a supporting role. At 43% alcohol, it carries a little more presence than the most basic whisky strength while staying approachable in feel.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, Reki Helios sits neatly within the Japanese whisky selection for customers (…)Kura 12y White Oak
