Glen Mhor 1965 50y is a Highland single malt defined by patience and rarity. Distilled on 9 December 1965 and bottled on 11 January 2016, it spent fifty years maturing before being released by Signatory as part of the Rare Reserve series.
This is a single cask whisky from an Oloroso Sherry cask, bottled at cask strength at 47.1%. Rather than presenting a broad house style, it captures one individual cask, one long maturation and one specific distillation date from 1965.
Only 353 bottles were produced, and within the selection at Drankenshop Broekmans this Glen Mhor stands apart as a collector's item for those who value very old Scottish single malt. The fact that these are the last bottles only adds to the sense of limited availability.
