Ferrer Bobet Red 2019 comes from the D.O.Q. Priorat in Catalonia, around Porrera and Falset. This is a landscape of steep slopes, terraces and llicorella slate soils, and that setting is central to the wine's identity: concentration, ripe dark fruit and a firm mineral line all belong to the picture described for this release.
This is the estate's Ferrer Bobet wine itself, not the separate Vinyes Velles or Selecció Especial Vinyes Velles cuvées. The blend brings together cariñena, garnacha negra, syrah and cabernet sauvignon. Grapes are hand-harvested in small crates, with selection and gravity flow used in the cellar to keep the handling controlled and precise.

Ferrer Bobet Selecció Especial Red 2018 is a dry red Priorat from Catalonia, made from 100% Cariñena. It comes from the Porrera area, where very old vines grow on steep slate slopes. The wine is built around depth rather than softness: dark fruit, floral detail, spice and a clear mineral line all play an important role.
The grapes come from century-old vines on costers de pissarra, the steep slate terraces associated with Priorat. Harvesting was done by hand in small 10 kg boxes, followed by strict berry-by-berry selection. In the cellar, Ferrer Bobet used gravity, fermentation in wooden vats and 18 months of ageing in new fine-grained French oak with light to medium-light toast. Ferrer Bobet Vinyes Velles Red 2018 is a dry red wine from Spain's DOQ Priorat in Catalonia. The estate lies on the road between Falset and Porrera, with a winegrowing identity closely tied to the Porrera area. That setting matters: old vines rooted in steep slate slopes and terraces give the wine depth, while cooler influences, altitude changes and strong day-night temperature differences help retain freshness and acidity.
The 2018 vintage is made from 86% Cariñena and 14% Garnacha tinta. Grapes are hand-harvested in small 10 kg crates, selected berry by berry and moved into tank by gravity.
