Chateau D'Armailhac 2021 is a dry red Bordeaux from Pauillac, from a château ranked as a 5th Grand Cru Classé in the 1855 classification. It is the grand vin of Château d'Armailhac, part of the Rothschild family's Pauillac estates, and the blend is firmly rooted in the Médoc tradition: Cabernet Sauvignon in the lead, with Merlot, Cabernet Franc and a small share of Petit Verdot.
The château describes 2021 as a more classical, fresh and balanced vintage with structure. The growing season asked for precision, with a wet and mild winter, cool and humid periods in spring and early summer, then drier weather in August and early September that helped the vineyard recover and supported the development of tannins and fruit aromas. Château d'Armailhac 2022 Demi is the half-bottle format of Château d'Armailhac's grand vin. It is not a separate cuvée, but the same red Pauillac bottled in 37.5 cl, a useful size when you want to open a serious Bordeaux without committing to a full bottle.
Its identity is firmly rooted in Pauillac and the Médoc. Château d'Armailhac is a 5ème Grand Cru Classé from the 1855 classification and belongs to the Mouton branch of the Rothschild family. The 2022 blend combines Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and a small proportion of Petit Verdot, with the relatively strong role of Cabernet Franc noted as a recognisable feature of the estate.

Château d'Armailhac 2022 Magnum brings together the identity of Pauillac, the presence of a 1.5 litre bottle and the pedigree of a château classified as a Cinquième Grand Cru Classé in 1855. It is a red Bordeaux with a serious frame, and in this format it has the sense of a bottle chosen for a considered table or for further cellaring. These are the last bottles.
The 2022 blend is led by 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, supported by 22% Merlot, 16% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot. Cabernet Sauvignon gives the wine its backbone, while the relatively high share of Cabernet Franc is part of the château's recognisable signature and links naturally to the floral and spicy notes described for this vintage.
