Cambus 1991 30y DLXOP is a mature Scottish single grain whisky from the Lowlands, distilled in September 1991 and bottled in January 2022 after 30 years of maturation. It is the kind of bottling where the appeal lies in the specific moment captured from one individual cask.
Douglas Laing released this Cambus as part of the Extra Old Particular range, drawn from a single refill hogshead and bottled at natural cask strength, 59.5%. That refill cask setting keeps the wood influence present without making the whisky feel entirely cask-led, allowing its floral, fruity and gently spiced sides to come through alongside the maturity.

Cambus 31y Macb is part of the Macbeth Collection, a series of 42 Scottish whiskies in which each release is linked to a character from Shakespeare's tragedy. This Cambus takes the role of the First Ghost, a fitting idea for a delicate grain whisky with the light, almost elusive style associated with the ghosts in the series.
It spent 31 years in refill hogsheads made from American oak. That long maturation brings depth, while the refill wood allows the whisky's lighter side to remain clearly visible. The character is built around green fruit, vanilla and coconut, with spice and wood adding structure rather than weight.

Cambus Grain 1988 28y is a Scottish Lowland grain whisky built around age, cask individuality and scarcity. Distilled in 1988 and bottled in 2016, it spent 28 years maturing before being released as a single cask whisky.
Its small scale is what gives this bottling much of its appeal. Drawn from one hogshead, it yielded just 60 bottles and was bottled at cask strength at 47.4%. Rather than a broad regular release, this is a very specific snapshot of one individual cask from Cambus.
