De Druglijn
Consuming alcohol is not without risk
This may sound strange coming from us, but as a long-standing dealer in spirits, beers and wines, we know all too well that excessive or irresponsible consumption of alcohol can cause damage to the person themselves and those around them. Damage that is sometimes even irreparable or irreversible. Don't let it get that far.
We think it is very important that the drinks on our shop are consumed sensibly and in moderation, because for those who use alcohol sensibly, the world of spirits is incredibly fascinating: different tastes, different styles, different countries, different traditions, ... Alcohol was discovered by chance by humans some 8000 years ago, and whisky has been produced in Scotland since 1500. In other words, that's centuries of history, tradition and knowledge in every glass, and to fully enjoy it, it's important to be aware of it.
When choosing alcohol, especially spirit-rich drinks with a high alcohol content, choose quality over quantity. After all, discovering and appreciating the numerous complex flavours in spirits is so much more enjoyable than "just getting drunk".
