Cherry Moon Tube Mini

Cherry Moon Tube Mini is a good example of how Hoenshof in Borgloon brings the fruit-growing tradition of Haspengouw into a distinctive wine style. This is not a classic grape wine, but a Belgian fruit wine built around cherry and sour cherry components such as Kordia, Griotte du Nord and Noordkriek, alongside Muscaris.
Its style is described as an alternative to ice wine: sweet, expressive and made for aperitif or dessert moments. The 10 cl mini tube format makes this version especially suited to a small pour, a tasting serve or a refined end to a meal without opening a full bottle.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, Cherry Moon sits nicely among Belgian drinks with a more adventurous angle, while still being very understandable at the table. It can be served with (…)Cuvee Hoenshof Merlot/Dornfelder

Cuvee Hoenshof Merlot/Dornfelder
In stock
Cuvée Hoenshof Merlot/Dornfelder is a fine example of Belgian red wine finding its own identity. It comes from Wijndomein Hoenshof in Borgloon, in Limburg's Haspengouw region, where the focus is on grape varieties that can ripen well in Belgium's cooler climate while keeping freshness and structure.
Merlot forms an important part of the blend, but the wine gains its particular shape from dornfelder and, according to the producer information, cabernet cortis. Dornfelder is used for softness and fruit, while cabernet cortis serves here as a related alternative to cabernet sauvignon. Rather than copying a warmer-climate red blend, this cuvée gives that idea a Belgian interpretation: ripe fruit, freshness and a rounded frame.
The red grapes undergo (…)Het Goddelijk Monster 2021

Het Goddelijk Monster 2021

Het Goddelijk Monster 2021 is a Belgian white wine from Hoenshof in Borgloon, Limburg. It belongs to the more experimental side of the estate, where wine is approached with curiosity and with a clear connection to Belgian drinking culture.
Available information links this cuvée to lambic or gueuze, giving it a rather distinctive position within Hoenshof's range. The exact grape composition for the 2021 vintage is not reliably established, so the most meaningful way to understand this wine is through its concept: a Belgian white cuvée with an unconventional signature.
Hoenshof is based in Hoenshoven near Borgloon. The Houben family's wine story began in 2002, when Ghislain Houben planted the first vines on family land. Since then, the estate has (…)Hoenshof Appealing Demi (37,5cl)

Hoenshof Appealing Demi (37,5cl)
Temporarily sold out
Hoenshof Appealing Demi is a Belgian fruit wine from Wijndomein Hoenshof in Borgloon, Limburg, in the Haspengouw region. In its 37.5 cl half-bottle format, it feels made for those quieter moments at the end of a meal, when a small pour of something sweet and fruit-driven is exactly enough.
Apple is the heart of Appealing. The available product information links it to Jonagold, Greenstar and Cox apples, setting it apart from Hoenshof Appearance, the estate's separate pear ice wine. This is a sweet fruit wine, also mentioned in the context of dessert wines and digestifs, with apple clearly taking the lead.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a fine example of Hoenshof's fruit-focused side. The estate was started in 2002 by Ghislain Houben on family land in (…)Hoenshof Appearance Demi (37,5cl)

Hoenshof Appearance Demi (37,5cl)

Hoenshof Appearance Demi is a Belgian fruit wine in half-bottle format, centred on the character of pear. It comes from Wijndomein Hoenshof in Borgloon, in the Haspengouw fruit-growing region of Belgian Limburg. Rather than being a grape wine with pear-like notes, this is a wine made from pear fruit itself.
The pears mentioned for this cuvée include Durondeau, Doyenné and Beurré Hardy. They are frozen and then pressed, concentrating the juice in a way that follows the idea behind ice wine: sweetness, depth and retained freshness. Fermentation is controlled and stopped once the desired level of residual sugar has been reached.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we like to present when someone is curious about Belgian (…)Hoenshof Chardonnay Cherrywood 2020

Hoenshof Chardonnay Cherrywood 2020

Hoenshof Chardonnay Cherrywood 2020 is a Belgian white wine from Borgloon in Haspengouw, made by Wijndomein Hoenshof. The estate is a family-run project whose wine story began on family land in Hoenshoven, with the first vines planted in 2002. Hoenshof is known for working across different grape varieties, blends and vinification styles, and this wine fits that exploratory spirit well.
The distinctive element here is the Cherrywood reference. Chardonnay forms the basis, while ageing or influence from cherrywood gives the wine its own direction. Temperature-controlled stainless steel vinification is also mentioned, helping preserve freshness and fruit, with the cherrywood contributing a subtle toasted and vanilla-toned accent.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is (…)Hoenshof Kersenwijn Demi (37,5cl)

Hoenshof Kersenwijn Demi (37,5cl)

Hoenshof Kersenwijn Demi is a Belgian fruit wine with cherry at its centre. This is not a grape wine with a fruity twist, but a cherry wine from Wijndomein Hoenshof in Limburg. The 37.5 cl demi bottle makes it a practical choice when you want a smaller format for cheese, dessert or a quiet tasting moment.
Its character is shaped by Hoenshof's work with sweet and sour cherries. The producer lists Cordia, Griotte du Nord and Noordkriek, picked separately and fermented apart. After 24 hours of maceration, fermentation continues for 4 to 6 weeks before being stopped by cooling and filtration. The separate cherry wines are then blended, keeping the fruit at the heart of the wine while adding freshness and depth.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we like this bottle for (…)Hoenshof Red 2021 Cabernet Cantor / Cabernet Noir 75 Cl

Hoenshof Red 2021 Cabernet Cantor / Cabernet Noir 75 Cl
Temporarily sold out
Hoenshof Rood 2021 is a Belgian red wine with a distinctly local story. It comes from Wijndomein Hoenshof in Borgloon, Limburg, in the Haspengouw wine region, and is built around modern red grape varieties such as Cabernet Cantor and Cabernet Noir. These varieties are particularly relevant in a cooler climate, where ripe and healthy grapes are not always self-evident.
The winemaking gives the wine its colour and aromatic depth without pushing it into a heavy style. The grapes undergo a long skin maceration, with fermentation handled separately by grape variety and vineyard parcel. Only afterwards are the different lots blended, based on samples from the vats. The result is a red wine that speaks more of contemporary Belgian viticulture than of classical international (…)Hoenshof Riesling Graniet 77cl

Hoenshof Riesling Graniet is a Belgian white wine from Borgloon, in Limburg's fruit-growing region of Haspengouw. Wijndomein Hoenshof is known for exploring different vinification techniques, and this wine shows that approach very clearly: Riesling is fermented and matured in granite vessels.
The granite is more than just an unusual detail. According to Hoenshof, the thick stone vessel helps bring Riesling's high acidity towards a more balanced mouthfeel, while its thick walls keep the temperature stable during maturation. The grapes are hand-picked, destemmed, crushed and pressed immediately, without skin maceration.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as an engaging choice for anyone curious about Belgian wine with a clear winemaking idea behind it. The (…)Hoenshof Whisky Barrel Wine

Hoenshof Whisky Barrel Wine

Hoenshof Whisky Barrel Wine is a Belgian red wine with a notably unconventional angle. Its name clearly points to a whisky barrel concept, giving it a different identity from a more traditional red cuvée.
Hoenshof is based in Borgloon, in Belgian Limburg. The estate was developed by Ghislain Houben, who planted his first vines on family land in 2002. Today, Hoenshof works around 6.5 hectares of vineyards and uses a broad range of grape varieties, including innovative varieties suited to Belgium's cooler climate.
That experimental mindset gives useful context to this wine. The available product information does not specify the grape varieties, vintage or exact influence of the whisky barrel, but the combination of Belgian red wine and whisky barrel (…)Ice Ice Baby Tube Mini

Ice Ice Baby Tube Mini

Hoenshof Ice Ice Baby Tube Mini is a Belgian fruit wine presented in a playful 10 cl mini tube. It comes from Borgloon in Belgian Limburg and is made around a combination of Muscaris and the apple varieties Greenstar, Granny Smith and Jonagold.
The idea behind Ice Ice Baby is what gives it its personality. Hoenshof describes it as an alternative, slightly rebellious take on ice wine: a wine with a twist rather than a classic still grape wine. The meeting of grape and apple gives the product its fresh, fruit-driven identity.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we like this kind of Belgian fruit wine because it offers a different route into the aperitif moment. It can be served on its own, but it is also used with tonic for a simple, refreshing wine mix.

Hoenshof Kersenwijn 50cl is a Belgian fruit wine from Borgloon, built around cherries rather than simply flavoured by them. Cordia, griotte du nord and noordkriek cherries form the base, bringing together sweet and sour cherry varieties in one wine.
Its character comes from a careful process. The different cherries are picked and fermented separately. After 24 hours of maceration, fermentation continues for around 4 to 6 weeks, before the juice is cooled and filtered to stop the process. The separate cherry wines are then blended into the final result.
There is also a strong family and fruit-growing background behind this bottle. The land worked by Hoenshof has been connected to the Houben family since 1907, and the old standard cherry orchards are still (…)
