Château d'Aiguilhe 2022 is a dry red Bordeaux from Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux on the Right Bank. It is the grand vin of the château in Saint-Philippe-d'Aiguilhe, part of Vignobles Comtes von Neipperg and guided by Stephan von Neipperg. For the 2022 vintage, the blend is led by Merlot at 90%, with 10% Cabernet Franc.
Its appeal lies in the way ripe fruit is carried by freshness and a limestone-driven undertone. The estate's clay-limestone terroir gives the wine its more mineral side, while vinification in wooden and concrete vats, 32 days of fermentation and cuvaison, and 15 months on the lees in oak barriques and vats give it structure and depth.
