Bunnahabhain Staoisha 2014 5y Artist (Signatory - Artist Edition) Incl. Box
On request only
Bunnahabhain Staoisha 2014 5 Year Old Artist is a young Islay single malt with a firmly peated identity. Bottled by Signatory as part of the Artist Edition, it focuses on the bold, direct side of Staoisha: peat takes the lead, with a clearly salty and fruity edge giving the whisky its shape.
Maturation in refill bourbon cask keeps the wood influence in the background. Rather than leaning on oak, this release puts the spirit itself in front, showing a youthful, energetic style at full cask strength. At 61.2%, it is a powerful bottling with little interest in understatement.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of independent Islay release that stands out for its clarity and force. With only the last bottles remaining, this Signatory bottling has become (…)Caol Ila 1995 20y Artist (Signatory - Artist Edition) Incl. Box

Caol Ila 1995 20y Artist (Signatory - Artist Edition) Incl. Box

Caol Ila 1995 20y Artist is a sharply defined Islay single malt rather than a broad house-style release. Signatory bottled it for the Artist Edition from a single hogshead, at cask strength, with an alcoholic strength of 54.1%. That gives this whisky a very specific identity: one cask, one vintage, twenty years of maturation.
Only 276 bottles were drawn from this cask, and these are now the last bottles. Within the Drankenshop Broekmans range, that makes it a particularly focused choice for drinkers who enjoy independent bottlings with a clear sense of origin.
The supplied flavour profile points to a whisky where peat smoke, maritime saltiness and fruit carry the main story. Light floral and spicy touches sit around that core, while wood influence is not (…)Secret Islay 2010 12y (The Whisky Agency)

Secret Islay 2010 12y (The Whisky Agency)

Secret Islay 2010 12y is a Scottish single malt with an intentionally undisclosed origin. The label gives away the island, but not the distillery, making the whisky more about Islay, age and cask selection than about a famous name on the front.
Distilled in 2010 and matured for 12 years in a hogshead, it is bottled at 49.4%, giving it a confident presence without moving into very high-strength territory.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we value for its quiet intrigue: a clearly defined Islay single malt, with a concrete age statement, limited remaining availability and a distillery name kept deliberately in the background.

Stalla Dhu Saorsa Aois Sd is a Scottish whisky presented in a rather focused way: bottled at 50% and linked to a Sherry Butt. There is no elaborate background story in the supplied information, so the appeal sits in the essentials origin, cask style and strength.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would point out to someone who pays attention to those details. A Scottish whisky from a Sherry Butt, at a firm bottling strength, already gives a clear sense of direction without needing a long list of claims.
With only the last bottles indicated as available, it also has a more limited feel within the assortment. No detailed distillery background or tasting notes are provided, so this is best approached as a straightforward discovery built (…)Ballechin 2008 14y Nectar

Ballechin 2008 14y Nectar is a Highland single malt with a very focused identity: distilled on 19 September 2008, bottled on 30 September 2022, and drawn from one bourbon barrel after 14 years of maturation. Bottled at cask strength at 58.4%, it keeps a close connection to the individual cask behind it.
In the Drankenshop Broekmans selection, this is the kind of whisky that stands out for drinkers looking for a release with clear provenance rather than a broad batch character. Only 232 bottles were filled, and with the last bottles now remaining, its availability is naturally limited.
The flavour profile points toward a pronounced meeting of fruit, saltiness and peat, with spice playing a supporting part. Wood is not marked as a dominant feature, so the (…)Secret Islay 2009 14y 50,7 (The Whisky Agency)

Secret Islay 2009 14y 50,7 (The Whisky Agency)
Very last one in stock!
Secret Islay 2009 14y 50.7 is a Scottish single malt built around discretion. The name points to Islay, yet the distillery remains undisclosed, so the bottle invites a different kind of attention: less about recognition, more about discovery.
Distilled in 2009 and aged for 14 years, it comes with just enough detail to frame the whisky without giving everything away. The cask information mentions a butt, while the bottling strength of 50.7% gives it a firm, serious presence.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of release we place in front of whisky drinkers who enjoy stepping beyond the familiar distillery names. Its combination of Islay origin, stated age, undisclosed producer and final available bottles gives it a quiet but distinctive appeal.

Octomore 14.2 is an Islay single malt from Bruichladdich, bottled at cask strength with an ABV of 57.7%. It is a whisky built around intensity: heavily peated, clearly maritime in tone, and presented without dilution.
Distilled in 2017 and aged for 5 years, it keeps a youthful, direct energy. The American Oak maturation frames the whisky, while the supplied profile points most strongly toward peat smoke and saltiness, with lighter traces of fruit and spice in support.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would introduce to someone looking for a forceful Islay single malt rather than a softened interpretation of the style. Octomore 14.2 is compact, powerful and unmistakably driven by peat and coastal character.

Octomore 14.1 is an Islay single malt from Bruichladdich with a very direct sense of power. Bottled at cask strength at 59.6%, it places peat firmly at the centre, supported by a clearly salty side that gives the whisky a strong island identity.
Distilled in 2017 and matured for 5 years in a bourbon barrel, this release is not presented as a wood-driven whisky. The available flavour profile gives oak little emphasis, so the focus stays on peat intensity, salinity and the energy of a young cask-strength single malt.

Kilkerran Heavily Peat Batch 4 is a Campbeltown single malt with a clear sense of direction: peat, strength and a distinctly salty edge. The name sets the expectation, yet the character is not built on smoke alone. Peat, spice, fruit and salinity all have a clear role, giving the whisky more shape than a one-dimensional heavily peated malt.
At 58.6% ABV and bottled at cask strength, Batch 4 keeps its forceful, undiluted presence. With no age statement, the emphasis sits firmly on style and impact rather than maturation age: a Kilkerran that puts intensity and distillate character in the foreground.

Oc2 Elements Of Islay is a Scottish single malt from the Limited Edition range of Elements of Islay, bottled by Speciality Drinks. In the series' periodic-table style coding, Oc stands for Octomore from Bruichladdich, with the number marking the batch. It is a concise but very effective way of putting a specific Islay identity in the spotlight.
The strength is an important part of the story here. Bottled at cask strength at 63.5%, Oc2 keeps a powerful, direct presence rather than being shaped into a softer standard release. Its wine maturation gives this heavily peated Islay whisky a distinct setting, while the absence of an age statement keeps the focus on batch character and cask selection.

Mister Peat is very clear about its intentions. This Scottish single malt from the Lowland region puts peat at the centre of the glass, with a style that is openly smoky rather than politely restrained. The peat comes through in vegetal, earthy and ashy tones.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of whisky we would introduce to someone looking for a direct peated character with a clean presentation. It is bottled at 46%, without chill filtration and without added colouring, allowing its citrus and iodine notes to sit naturally alongside the smoke.

Islay Malt 8y tells a concise and appealing whisky story: a Scottish single malt from Islay, matured for eight years, drawn from one individual cask and bottled at cask strength. Its identity is shaped first of all by its island origin, with peat and salinity forming the clearest lines in the profile.
Distilled in 2007 and bottled in 2015, it came from a hogshead with a total outturn of 349 bottles. That places it far away from a broad standard release; it is a small snapshot of one cask at one moment in time. At Drankenshop Broekmans, whiskies like this are valued for exactly that reason: they let you explore a more specific side of Islay malt.
At 51.5% ABV, the whisky keeps its natural strength and directness. The flavour profile points to a peated, coastal (…)Pl4 Elements Of Islay 50cl (Speciality Drinks)

That gives the bottle a clear identity from the start: a focused Islay release rather than a broad house-style bottling.
These Elements of Islay editions are bottled either as single casks or as small batches drawn from a limited selection of casks, always with the individual distillery character in mind. It spends 10 years in old first-fill and second-fill American oak bourbon casks and is bottled at 46% without chill filtration, helping to preserve body and depth. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we point to when someone wants a clearly smoky Islay malt with real presence and a maritime edge.

Waterford Lacken 1.1 Peated

Waterford Lacken 1.1 Peated brings a noticeably smoky side to Waterford's Irish single malt range. The brand has built its name around a wide spread of different bottlings, but this peated line speaks more directly to drinkers who enjoy peat as a central part of the whisky's identity. Lacken 1.1 sits at 57 ppm, following the likes of Fenniscourt 1.1 and Ballybannon 1.1, with Woodbrook 1.1 named as the even more heavily peated release.
The appeal here is that the peat is not treated as a small background detail. Bottled at 50% ABV, as stated for this series, Lacken 1.1 carries a firm, saline and smoky profile with enough energy to feel lively rather than heavy.

Gentle fruity, spicy and floral touches sit in the background. Wood influence is not the point here; the emphasis remains on the Islay character rather than on heavy cask weight.

At 57%, the spirit has real presence, yet the emphasis remains on balance between power and flavour.
Maturation in a combination of re-charred red wine casks, oloroso sherry casks and bourbon barrels gives this Islay single malt both structure and a sweet centre. Kilchoman's natural peat smoke and citrus character form the foundation, with darker fruit, generous spice and salted caramel adding depth around it.
