About MICHTERS
De geschiedenis van Michters is niet recent, ze gaat terug tot 1753. In het begin waren ze gevestigd in Pennsylvania. Tussen 1753 en 1989 was het overleven van de naam vaak moeilijk, maar de hergeboorte werd concreet kort na het jaar 2000. Gepassioneerde ondernemers beslissen dan om Michters opnieuw op te starten. maar ze zouden het productieapparaat deze keer in Kentucky neerzetten. Kort na de herstart, waren de whiskeys die Michters uitbracht afkomstig van vatselecties of specifieke bestellingen bij bevriende distilleerderijen. In een nabije toekomst echter, zal het gamma gevuld worden met whiskeys die on-site zullen gestookt worden. In 2014 heeft Michters zijn nieuwe distilleerderij geopend.

Will my product be properly packaged?
All our orders are packed with the utmost care in sturdy cardboard shipping boxes, and filled with environmentally friendly crumpled cardboard to prevent damage to the bottle and packaging. We try to avoid the use of bubble wrap and other plastic as much as possible.
However, certain boxes and tubes are extremely sensitive to any form of packaging, and a package also goes through a lot before it is delivered to your front door. We offer you the assurance of completely flawless packaging in our shop in Zolder.
Can I ask questions about the product specifications?
Our team strives to supplement photos and product specifications with the utmost care and to keep them up-to-date. Unfortunately, this is not always possible, especially for products with a high rotation, products with multiple versions/packaging and products that are released several times under the same name/denominator/barcode, each time with a different lot number or different bottling date. Because the basic product is the same in such cases, we do not make a distinction in our webshop and we deliver what is in stock at that time.
If you are looking for a very specific release of a product, e.g. to supplement your collection, it is best to contact our customer service in advance so that we can physically check this for you before you place your order . This way we prevent disappointment and unnecessary sending of bottles back and forth.
If the product you received does not match the product information that we communicated in advance, you can choose to return this bottle to us and obtain a return label from our customer service.
Why can I only enter a certain number?
In our webshop you can never order more than the quantity that we can immediately deliver from our stock at that time. For larger quantities, please contact our customer service. In addition, exceptionally popular releases can also be limited in number per customer account.
Can I pick up my online order in your shop?
Unfortunately, it is not possible to collect your online order from our shop. This is because the physical processing of online orders does not take place in our shop in Zolder.
In which countries can I have my order delivered?
Because of national excise legislation, each target market in which we operate has a separate webshop environment. You can order on all these environments with one customer account. Prices, delivery costs and ordering conditions differ per target market.
