All Possible Daiquiris 1: Clairin takes its character from Clairin, the sugarcane spirit of Haiti. That choice immediately gives this daiquiri a more distinctive foundation than the name alone might suggest. The Clairin is traditionally made from organically grown sugarcane in wild areas, with spontaneous fermentations and distillation in small wooden, fire-driven alambics.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we like bottles where the base spirit genuinely matters, and that is very much the case here. Lime and organic sugar bring the recognizable daiquiri freshness, while the Clairin adds an earthy and floral side that gives the drink extra personality.
At 12.5% alcohol, it stays comfortably within aperitif territory, yet the Haitian sugarcane spirit remains central to (…)All Possible Daiquiris 2: Hampden (La Maison & Velier)

All Possible Daiquiris 2: Hampden is built around rum with a very clear voice. It is made with Hampden rum from the Trelawny distillery in Jamaica, where long fermentation and double distillation in retort stills create a high ester level and an intense, funky profile.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as an aperitif for drinkers who enjoy cocktails with a real rum identity. It is not a background ingredient here; the rum defines the personality of the drink.
The aroma opens (…)All Possible Daiquiris 3: Rivers (La Maison & Velier)

All Possible Daiquiris 3: Rivers takes the familiar idea of a daiquiri and gives it a very specific rum-driven identity. It is made with Rivers Rum, distilled in a forgotten distillery in the north of Grenada, powered by a water mill. That origin story immediately gives this aperitif a character of its own.
Bottled by La Maison & Velier, it feels less like a generic cocktail and more like a daiquiri shaped by the rum at its core. At 12.5% alcohol, it sits firmly in aperitif territory, while the Rivers Rum brings warmth, spice and an intriguing depth to the glass.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we find this release especially interesting because it connects a classic cocktail format with a very distinctive rum source. It is a daiquiri with a darker, more (…)
